It's a mys-TREE! Victoria Beckham shares a picture of an extravagant children's playhouse in the country... 'two days after requesting planning permission' for identical build at their lavish £6.15m Cotswolds home
- Planning permission for a wooden treehouse with a slanted roof was published this weekend
- A picture showing a near-identical playhouse in the countryside was shared by mum-of-four Victoria on Sunday night
- The Beckhams are thought to have sent a request to the council as part of the extensive renovations of their £6.15million Cotswolds home
A request for permission to build a stunning treehouse in the grounds of their two acre country pile was published this weekend.
But Victoria Beckham shared a picture of an almost identical playhouse to the one illustrated in the planning permission, on Sunday afternoon.
Victoria and husband David were thought to have included a request to build the playhouse in the extensive renovations of their £6.15million Cotswolds home.

No permission needed: Victoria Beckham shared a picture of a treehouse in the country on Sunday, which looked remarkably similar to the one they are thought to have requested permission to build, only this weekend
'Kisses from the country X' Victoria wrote, as she shared a wholesome image of an elevated, wooden playhouse decorated in Christmas lights on Sunday.
The treehouse was originally planned to sit alongside a 60ft croquet lawn, an orchard with apple, pear and plum trees and two vegetable patches.
When the planning documents were first published byThe Sun on Saturday, it was believed that the family had not yet been granted permission by the council.
A representative for David and Victoria Beckham declined to comment on the new picture or plans.
Making changes: The treehouse was believed to have been part of the renovations Victoria and David had planned for their £6.15million home in the Cotswolds
Claims: The Beckhams allegedly asked the council for permission to build a thatched treehouse, 4.275m high like the one in the illustrations (left) but Victoria's new picture (right) seemed to fit the criteria exactly
Reunited: Victoria was delighted to have her four children (from left) Romeo, Brooklyn, Harper and Cruz back together again this weekend, as she shared this picture from Brooklyn's homecoming from university in New York City
It's as yet unclear whether the new picture was taken on the Beckhams' property or someone else's and therefore - considering the striking likeness to their plans - it could be the inspiration behind their forthcoming renovations.
However, Victoria has been dropping big hints that she is spending the weekend at the new Cotswolds pad, sharing pictures of an open fire with four Christmas stockings and writing: 'Loving the country'
It was originally claimed that David and Victoria's architect Michael Ergatoudis has asked the council for permission to build a thatched treehouse, 4.275m high and 4.5m x 4.5m in length and width on their new country pile.
It would cover a ground space of 15.6 squared metres.
Rumour has it: David and Victoria are thought to have retreated to the countryside for Christmas
Go hell for leather like Victoria in trousers from her own collection
No matter what the occasion we can always count on Victoria Beckham to look stylish.
Here she is rocking a cosy jumper with a pair of leather trousers, which are of course from her own collection. The Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer is rarely spotted wearing anything else!
Check out the contrast red waistband and patch pockets on the back of these trousers. The zip front toughens the whole thing up a bit too! They're perfect for teaming with trainers and a white tee by day, or styling up for evening with a camisole and barely there heels.

Country life: Victoria has been hinting that the family have already moved into the new Cotswolds pad
According to the website, The Design and Access statement given to the council states: 'The application is for a modest Tree House on land that has planning permission for residential use.
'It is to be constructed in reclaimed timber with a timber shingle roof and is intended for use by the owners’ children as a play area and as such its use will be incidental to enjoyment of the main dwelling house.'
According to the website, the designer's statement assures the council the structure will not damage or impact a tree growing next to it, and features a 45 degree pitched roof.
Plans: The application reportedly read: 'It is to be constructed in reclaimed timber with a timber shingle roof and is intended for use by the owners’ children as a play area'
Claims: It is not yet known if The Beckhams' request to the council to build a thatched treehouse, 4.275m high, has been granted
Extravagant: They are also planning to have a 60ft croquet lawn, an orchard with apple, pear and plum trees and two vegetable patches at the home (pictured)
Since purchasing three disused listed barns for just over £6.15million in December from landowner Nicholas Johnston, an Old Etonian friend of Cameron, the Beckhams have spent a fortune on renovations and enlisted architect Michael to turn it into one family home.
They have hired Chelsea Flower Show winning gardener and landscape designer Marcus Barnett to transform the space surrounding the property.
Married to painter Louise Pragnell, whose portrait of the Duke of Kent is exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery, Barnett has has won three Gold Medals at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and is seen as 'gardening royalty'

The family was granted permission for a 60ft croquet lawn, an orchard with apple, pear and plum trees and two vegetable patches.
They also wanted a huge swimming pool but have had to settle for natural swimming pond, using water recycled from the main house, sited within one of the courtyards so it cannot be seen from the road.
The Beckhams, who already own a £31 million West London home, have sparked rumours for some time of plans to move to the country with their family.

Shortly after their wedding in 1991, the couple bought a sprawling house in Hertfordshire – dubbed Beckingham Palace by some – but sold it in 2014.
David, in particular, always looks at home in the country. He is a keen angler and there are plenty of fishing lakes in the Cotswolds area. There are also ample opportunities for David to sample a pint or two. 'I love going to pubs in the countryside, or to my local pub, where everyone knows me and I don't get bothered,' he has said.
The Beckhams will likely keep their four-storey mansion in London, as the children's school and Victoria's fashion empire are based in the city.
Victoria and David are parents to four children - 18-year-old Brooklyn, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 13, and Harper, six - who were all reunited this weekend when their eldest child returned from university in New York.
