He welcomed his third child into the world with his wife Julia last Tuesday.

And James Corden couldn't have looked happier as he proudly stepped out for the first time with his newborn in Los Angeles.

Joined by his beloved wife, the 39-year-old Late Late Show host looked every inch the doting dad as he contentedly pushed the youngster along in a pram.

The Carpool Karaoke singer cut a casual figure in a black jumper, skinny jeans and white trainers.

Despite looking slightly tired, James radiated happiness as he happily chatted to a passer-by before putting his little one in the car.

Meanwhile Julia, 38, looked radiant for the family outing, opting for comfort in a dappled grey tracksuit.

Letting James take the lead, the mother-of-three couldn't help but keep a close eye on the Gavin & Stacey actor as he put the youngster in the car.

James and Julia already share son Max, six, and daughter Carey, three.

On Thursday's edition of The Late Late Show, the Englishman admitted he and his wife still hadn't chosen a name for their little one.

Although, James revealed he did make one suggestion at the hospital - Beyonce.

The Gavin & Stacey actor revealed: 'After the baby was born, anyone who's been in this situation will know, we were both crying, I was crying my eyes out, my wife's crying her eyes out, the baby's crying.

'The doctor asked about her name and I don't know why I said it and I looked at the doctor and said, "We're going to call her Beyonce." My wife did not think that was funny.

A nurse actually believed him and had even started filling out the necessary paperwork, according to James.

'I had to go over to her and go, "Excuse me, there's only one Beyonce," ' he said.

The baby's arrival was 'a complete shock' to the couple as she wasn't due for another two weeks.

James dished: 'We went to a routine check-up on Tuesday and suddenly the doctors turn to us and say, 'Oh no this is probably happening today and this baby could arrive in the next few hours.'

'We were unprepared,' he revealed.

'Seriously we were not expecting this baby to arrive for another couple of weeks. We didn't think this would happen and so this is absolutely true, we still haven't chosen a name for her yet. We don't know what we're going to call her.'

James' friend Harry Styles stood in for him, literally at the last moment, on the show on Tuesday and Bryan Cranston hosted on Wednesday.

The comedian took to twitter to praise his One Direction pal, and his lovely wife tweeting: 'Today we welcomed a beautiful baby daughter into the world. Both she and her mother are doing great. Thank you Harry for stepping in to host the show at 2 and a half hours notice! x x x.'
