This report provides an overview of work done by the JPASS project in 2016. J-PASS was initiated in September 2015 with the overall aim of building the capacity of political parties to function effectively as institutions of governance.
In preparation for a successful Elections 2016 in Ghana, UNDP supported several initiatives that sought to boost public confidence and participation in elections, and increase trust in political parties and election results.
Through a solar-powered irrigation project supported by the Energy Commission of Ghana and UNDP, smallholder farmers in the four communities of Tamalgu, Nakpanduri, Datoyili and Fooshegu can now irrigate their farm fields regularly.
