Aditya Narayan

Aditya Narayan Jha, commonly known as Aditya Narayan, is an Indian Bollywood actor, television host, composer and singer. He is the son of Nepalese playback singer Udit Narayan and Deepa Narayan.

Early life

Aditya Narayan was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He comes from a musical family where his father, Nepalese playback singer Udit Narayan, his mother Deepa Narayan, his grandfather Hari Krishna Jha and his grandmother Bhuvaneshwari Jha are all musically inclined. Aditya was born at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai and he is still resident of Mumbai. Narayan is of Nepali origin. His father comes from Saptari district, Bhardaha, Mithila region of Nepal, and his mother, who was born in Darjeeling, has Nepali roots.

Narayan completed his schooling at Utpal Shanghvi school in 2003. He passed his junior college at Mitthibai College of Commerce.

Biography

Aditya Narayan began his career as a singer at a very young age: he was discovered by Kalyanji Virji Shah when he sang at his 4th birthday celebration. He started training under Kalyanji and did concerts called Little Wonders, a show where children displayed their talent in various forms of art. He went on to perform at more than 300 Little Wonders concerts.

Ādityas

In Hinduism, Ādityas (Sanskrit: आदित्य, pronounced [ɑːd̪it̪jɐ]), meaning "of Aditi", refers to the offspring of Aditi. The name, Aditya,is used in the singular to mean the Sun God, Surya.

The Bhagavata Purana lists a total of twelve Adityas as Sun-gods. In each month of the year a different Aditya is said to shine. Each of these Adityas is a different expression of Lord Vishnu in the form of the Sun-God.

The eighth Āditya (Mārtanda) was rejected by Aditi, thus leaving only seven sons. In the Yajurveda (Taittirīya Samhita), their number is given as eight, and the last one is believed to be Vivasvān. Hymn LXXII of the Rig Veda, Book 10, also confirms that there are nine Adityas, the eighth one being Mārtanda, who is later revived as Vivasvān.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is an Indian musical reality TV game show. It started in 1995, and as of April 2012 it had 16 seasons with 1076 episodes. The name "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa" equals the five first notes (or swaras) in the Indian solfage (or sargam).

From 1999 till 2001, the show was hosted by the brothers Amaan Ali Khan and Ayaan Ali Khan.

After that, Shaan started hosting the show. Later, the name "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa" became known as the "brand name" of the series and completely changed the concept of the show to include public interaction through voting. This was first done in 2005, when the old show concept was completely scrapped and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005 was introduced.

In February 2007, RealMedia - Zee TV in Dubai, produced and started airing Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Middle East - Pakistan Challenge 2007 for the Middle East and Pakistan viewers based on the original format of the show.

Zee TV Telugu has also started "Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa" in 2007 and run 2 series named "Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa Seniors" and "Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa Little Champs" and has started a new series "Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa Super Seniors" for contestants above 35 years of age.

Subscription business model

The subscription business model is a business model where a customer must pay a subscription price to have access to the product/service. The model was pioneered by magazines and newspapers, but is now used by many businesses and websites.
