Se le llama Hz(Hercio) a UN CICLO por UN SEGUNDO, entendiendo como ciclo la repetición de "algo" , es decir, cuántas veces ESE ciclo SE HACE en un segundo.
"El Hz sirve para medir la frecuencia con la que ocurre 'algo' en un segundo"
En resumen el MHz se usa para medir el número de veces que
se repite un proceso.

Un Megahercio (MHz) equivale a 1 millón de hercios.
Otros múltiplos comunes del hercio (Hz) son:
* Kilohercio (Khz), equivalente a 1000 Hz

Se utiliza mucho en informática para referirse a la velocidad de
procesamiento de un microprocesador, ya que la velocidad de
reloj estaba en ese orden de magnitud. Hoy sin embargo es más

Multi-core processor
A multi-core processor is a single computing component with two or more independent actual processing units (called "cores"), which are the units that read and execute program instructions. The instructions are ordinary CPU instructions such as add, move data, and branch, but the multiple cores can run multiple instructions at the same time, increasing overall speed for programs amenable to parallel computing. Manufacturers typically integrate the cores onto a single integrated circuit die (known as a chip multiprocessor or CMP), or onto multiple dies in a single chip package.
Processors were originally developed with only one core. In the mid 1980s Rockwell International manufactured versions of the 6502 with two 6502 cores on one chip as the R65C00, R65C21, and R65C29, sharing the chip's pins on alternate clock phases. Other multi-core processors were developed in the early 2000s by Intel, AMD and others.

Within the last few weeks I've been upgrading my personal gaming PC. One component, namely the Intel Pentium G3258 Processor has been at the center of it for the last couple of years, happily working away at an overclocked speed of 4.2 GHz. The increased speed seemed to provide quite a substantial gaming difference and it got me thinking, what sort of results could we expect from an underclock? On that thought we lowered the speed to just 1GHz and tested out a few games. Today's system includes the Pentium G3258 CPU, 8GB of DDR3 Ram, an MSI H81M-P33 Motherboard, Radeon RX 460 and Windows 10 Pro. Our tested games include Grand Theft Auto V, The Witcher 3 and Dirt Rally. Thanks for watching :) -

Algunos routers pueden operar en las frecuencias de 2.4 y 5 GHz. Ambas frecuencias trabajan de distinta manera y es muy importante conocer las características de cada una de ellas. Vamos a realizar varios test donde podremos comprobar de manera empírica la diferencia de velocidad de transferencia con una frecuencia y con otra. Por otro lado también vamos a aprovechar este vídeo para hacer una comparativa de rendimiento entre un router de los que nos da la operadora, en mi caso un Mitrasatar de Movistar, y uno de gama media comprado por nosotros (Synology RT1900ac). El router de Synology obtiene mucha mayor tanto en velocidad de transferencia directa de archivos en una red interna como en un test de velocidad en acceso a internet a través de la operadora. En cuanto a la diferencia de rendimiento entre las frecuencias de 2.4 y 5 GHz en una red wifi, los resultados obtenidos tampoco dejan lugar a dudas. La frecuencia de 5 GHz es muchísimo más rápida que la de 2.4 GHz tanto en transferencia de archivos como en acceso exterior. Por último nos queda probar la cobertura que ofrecen ambos routers y ambas frecuencias, ya que tanto la distancia como los obstáculos entre nuestro dispositivo y el router es también un factor determinante. Esta última prueba la dejamos para el próximo vídeo para no hacer este tutorial demasiado largo y pesado. -

1 GHz Gaming | The Extreme CPU Underclock
Within the last few weeks I've been upgrading my personal gaming PC. One component, namely the Intel Pentium G3258 Processor has been at the center of it for the last couple of years, happily working away at an overclocked speed of 4.2 GHz. The increased speed seemed to provide quite a substantial gaming difference and it got me thinking, what sort of results could we expect from an underclock? On that thought we lowered the speed to just 1GHz and tested out a few games. Today's system includes the Pentium G3258 CPU, 8GB of DDR3 Ram, an MSI H81M-P33 Motherboard, Radeon RX 460 and Windows 10 Pro. Our tested games include Grand Theft Auto V, The Witcher 3 and Dirt Rally. Thanks for watching :)

Se le llama Hz(Hercio) a UN CICLO por UN SEGUNDO, entendiendo como ciclo la repetición de "algo" , es decir, cuántas veces ESE ciclo SE HACE en un segundo.
"El Hz sirve para medir la frecuencia con la que ocurre 'algo' en un segundo"
En resumen el MHz se usa para medir el número de veces que
se repite un proceso.

Within the last few weeks I've been upgrading my personal gaming PC. One component, namely the Intel Pentium G3258 Processor has been at the center of it for the last couple of years, happily working away at an overclocked speed of 4.2 GHz. The increased speed seemed to provide quite a substantial gaming difference and it got me thinking, what sort of results could we expect from an underclock? On that thought we lowered the speed to just 1GHz and tested out a few games.
Today's system includes the Pentium G3258 CPU, 8GB of DDR3 Ram, an MSI H81M-P33 Motherboard, Radeon RX 460 and Windows 10 Pro.
Our tested games include Grand Theft Auto V, The Witcher 3 and Dirt Rally.

Algunos routers pueden operar en las frecuencias de 2.4 y 5 GHz. Ambas frecuencias trabajan de distinta manera y es muy importante conocer las características de cada una de ellas. Vamos a realizar varios test donde podremos comprobar de manera empírica la diferencia de velocidad de transferencia con una frecuencia y con otra.
Por otro lado también vamos a aprovechar este vídeo para hacer una comparativa de rendimiento entre un router de los que nos da la operadora, en mi caso un Mitrasatar de Movistar, y uno de gama media comprado por nosotros (Synology RT1900ac).
El router de Synology obtiene mucha mayor tanto en velocidad de transferencia directa de archivos en una red interna como en un test de velocidad en acceso a internet a través de la operadora.
En cuanto a la diferencia de rendimiento entre las frecuencias de 2.4 y 5 GHz en una red wifi, los resultados obtenidos tampoco dejan lugar a dudas. La frecuencia de 5 GHz es muchísimo más rápida que la de 2.4 GHz tanto en transferencia de archivos como en acceso exterior.
Por último nos queda probar la cobertura que ofrecen ambos routers y ambas frecuencias, ya que tanto la distancia como los obstáculos entre nuestro dispositivo y el router es también un factor determinante.
Esta última prueba la dejamos para el próximo vídeo para no hacer este tutorial demasiado largo y pesado.
