We’re back in Greece! We’re starting this trip in the second biggest city in the country, Thessaloniki.
If you're looking for things to do in Thessaloniki this video is for you. We begin at pretty much the top of the city, at a castle called The Heptapyrgion,or Eptapyrgio. It started off as a castle and eventually turned into a prison. You can see remnants of both.
After this we headed back down the hill to a park with strange structures in them called Pasha’s Gardens.
We then headed all the way down the hill to get one of our favourite coffee drinks a Fredo Cappuccino and then explored the main square in Thessaloniki called Aristotelous Square.
Lastly we took a walk along the beautiful waterfront until we got to one of the most recognizable structures in the city, the White Tower. Here we headed to the top to enjoy the fantastic views of the city!

Thessaloniki is a Greek port city on the Thermaic Gulf of the Aegean Sea. Evidence of Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman history remains, especially around Ano Poli, the upper town. The ruins of Roman Emperor Galerius’ 4th-century palace include the Rotunda that has been both a church and a mosque. Much of the city center was destroyed in the Great Fire of 1917. The rebuilt 20th-century city has a modern European layout.

Γεια σας!! Αυτός ήταν ο πιλότος Happy Traveller που φτιάξαμε το 2015 και με αυτόν τον πιλότο ξεκινήσαμε τότε την εκπομπή στον ΣΚΑΙ. Μερικές σημειώσεις που σκέφτηκα να σας γράψω και ίσως σας φανούν ενδιαφέρουσες:
1) Δεν είχα gimbal. Όλα τα πλάνα είναι στο χέρι. Οι κάμερες που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν ήταν CANON 6D και GOPRO Hero4.
2) Τα περισσότερα πλάνα drone ήταν από συνεργάτη (όλα εκτός από το τέλος στα πλατανάκια που έγινε πιο μετά και είχα πάρει drone).
3) Το concept τότε ήταν εστιασμένο κυρίως στο φαγητό. Μέχρι τότε έκανα στην τηλεόραση εκπομπές μαγειρικής ή ταξιδιωτικές που είχαν σαν βασικό θέμα το φαγητό.
4) Αυτό δεν ήταν το πρώτο επεισόδιο που έπαιξε αλλά ήταν το πρώτο που γυρίστηκε. Ξεκινήσαμε με πιο καλοκαιρινό επεισόδιο και αυτό έπαιξε τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2015 στην τηλεόραση.
5) Το μεγαλύτερο κομμάτι το τράβηξα μόνος (είναι καθαρό vlog style) και κάποια μέρη με Ηλέκτρα. Το μοντάζ το έκανα εγώ.
Αυτά! Ξέρω ότι έχει ατέλειες αλλά ξέρω ότι φαίνεται ότι υπάρχει μια δυναμική με προοπτική εξέλιξης, κάτι που αποδείχθηκε και στην πορεία!
6) Αρχικά τίποτα τότε δεν ήταν χορηγία. Σε δεύτερη φάση κάποιοι από τους "διαφημιζόμενους" μας στήριξαν. Όμως σαν πιλοτικό επεισόδιο θέλαμε να δείξουμε και πως μπορεί να γίνει τοποθέτηση προϊόντων για να χρηματοδοτηθεί και να έχει μέλλον η εκπομπή.

Thessaloniki (Greek: Θεσσαλονίκη [θesaloˈnici]) is the second-largest city in Greece and the capital of Greek Macedonia, the administrative region of Central Macedonia and the Decentralized Administration of Macedonia and Thrace. Its nickname is η Συμπρωτεύουσα (Symprotévousa), literally "the co-capital", a reference to its historical status as the Συμβασιλεύουσα (Symvasilévousa) or "co-reigning" city of the Eastern Roman (Byzantine) Empire, alongside Constantinople.
The municipality of Thessaloniki, the historical center, had a population of 385,406 in 2007, while the Thessaloniki Urban Area had a population of 800,764. and the Thessaloniki Metropolitan Area had 1,104,460 inhabitants in 2011.
Thessaloniki is Greece's second major economic, industrial, commercial and political centre, and a major transportation hub for the rest of southeastern Europe;its commercial port is also of great importance for Greece and the southeastern European hinterland. The city is renowned for its festivals, events and vibrant cultural life in general, and is considered to be Greece's cultural capital. Events such as the Thessaloniki International Trade Fair and the Thessaloniki International Film Festival are held annually, while the city also hosts the largest bi-annual meeting of the Greek diaspora. Thessaloniki (regional unit)
Thessaloniki (Greek: Περιφερειακή ενότητα Θεσσαλονίκης) is one of the regional units of Greece. It is part of the Region of Central Macedonia and its capital is the city of Thessaloniki.
Geography
The regional unit stretches from the Thermaic Gulf to the Strymonic Gulf. The Thermaic Gulf lies to the southwest while the Strymonic Gulf is in the east. Two bodies of water are located to the north, Lake Koronia in the heart of the regional unit and Lake Volvi to the east. There are farmlands throughout the western and the southwestern part, a few in the northeast, the north and along the Axios River valley. The mountains include the Chortiatis to the westcentral part, the Vertiskos to the north and parts of the Kerdylio mountains to the northeast. The regional unit borders on the Imathia regional unit to the southwest, Pella to the west, Kilkis to the north, Serres to the east and Chalkidiki to the south.
Its climate includes hot Mediterranean summers and cool to mild winters in low lying areas and its plains. Winter weather is very common in areas 500 m above sea level and into the mountains.

We’re back in Greece! We’re starting this trip in the second biggest city in the country, Thessaloniki. If you're looking for things to do in Thessaloniki this video is for you. We begin at pretty much the top of the city, at a castle called The Heptapyrgion,or Eptapyrgio. It started off as a castle and eventually turned into a prison. You can see remnants of both. After this we headed back down the hill to a park with strange structures in them called Pasha’s Gardens. We then headed all the way down the hill to get one of our favourite coffee drinks a Fredo Cappuccino and then explored the main square in Thessaloniki called Aristotelous Square. Lastly we took a walk along the beautiful waterfront until we got to one of the most recognizable structures in the city, the White Tower. ...

Γεια σας!! Αυτός ήταν ο πιλότος Happy Traveller που φτιάξαμε το 2015 και με αυτόν τον πιλότο ξεκινήσαμε τότε την εκπομπή στον ΣΚΑΙ. Μερικές σημειώσεις που σκέφτηκα να σας γράψω και ίσως σας φανούν ενδιαφέρουσες: 1) Δεν είχα gimbal. Όλα τα πλάνα είναι στο χέρι. Οι κάμερες που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν ήταν CANON 6D και GOPRO Hero4. 2) Τα περισσότερα πλάνα drone ήταν από συνεργάτη (όλα εκτός από το τέλος στα πλατανάκια που έγινε πιο μετά και είχα πάρει drone). 3) Το concept τότε ήταν εστιασμένο κυρίως στο φαγητό. Μέχρι τότε έκανα στην τηλεόραση εκπομπές μαγειρικής ή ταξιδιωτικές που είχαν σαν βασικό θέμα το φαγητό. 4) Αυτό δεν ήταν το πρώτο επεισόδιο που έπαιξε αλλά ήταν το πρώτο που γυρίστηκε. We’re back in Greece! We’re starting this trip in the second biggest city in the country, Thessaloniki.
If you're looking for things to do in Thessaloniki this video is for you. We begin at pretty much the top of the city, at a castle called The Heptapyrgion,or Eptapyrgio. It started off as a castle and eventually turned into a prison. You can see remnants of both.
After this we headed back down the hill to a park with strange structures in them called Pasha’s Gardens.
We then headed all the way down the hill to get one of our favourite coffee drinks a Fredo Cappuccino and then explored the main square in Thessaloniki called Aristotelous Square.
Lastly we took a walk along the beautiful waterfront until we got to one of the most recognizable structures in the city, the White Tower. Here we headed to the top to enjoy the fantastic views of the city!

Thessaloniki is a Greek port city on the Thermaic Gulf of the Aegean Sea. Evidence of Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman history remains, especially around Ano Poli, the upper town. The ruins of Roman Emperor Galerius’ 4th-century palace include the Rotunda that has been both a church and a mosque. Much of the city center was destroyed in the Great Fire of 1917. The rebuilt 20th-century city has a modern European layout.

Γεια σας!! Αυτός ήταν ο πιλότος Happy Traveller που φτιάξαμε το 2015 και με αυτόν τον πιλότο ξεκινήσαμε τότε την εκπομπή στον ΣΚΑΙ. Μερικές σημειώσεις που σκέφ...
Γεια σας!! Αυτός ήταν ο πιλότος Happy Traveller που φτιάξαμε το 2015 και με αυτόν τον πιλότο ξεκινήσαμε τότε την εκπομπή στον ΣΚΑΙ. Μερικές σημειώσεις που σκέφτηκα να σας γράψω και ίσως σας φανούν ενδιαφέρουσες:
1) Δεν είχα gimbal. Όλα τα πλάνα είναι στο χέρι. Οι κάμερες που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν ήταν CANON 6D και GOPRO Hero4.
2) Τα περισσότερα πλάνα drone ήταν από συνεργάτη (όλα εκτός από το τέλος στα πλατανάκια που έγινε πιο μετά και είχα πάρει drone).
3) Το concept τότε ήταν εστιασμένο κυρίως στο φαγητό. Μέχρι τότε έκανα στην τηλεόραση εκπομπές μαγειρικής ή ταξιδιωτικές που είχαν σαν βασικό θέμα το φαγητό.
4) Αυτό δεν ήταν το πρώτο επεισόδιο που έπαιξε αλλά ήταν το πρώτο που γυρίστηκε. Ξεκινήσαμε με πιο καλοκαιρινό επεισόδιο και αυτό έπαιξε τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2015 στην τηλεόραση.
5) Το μεγαλύτερο κομμάτι το τράβηξα μόνος (είναι καθαρό vlog style) και κάποια μέρη με Ηλέκτρα. Το μοντάζ το έκανα εγώ.
Αυτά! Ξέρω ότι έχει ατέλειες αλλά ξέρω ότι φαίνεται ότι υπάρχει μια δυναμική με προοπτική εξέλιξης, κάτι που αποδείχθηκε και στην πορεία!
6) Αρχικά τίποτα τότε δεν ήταν χορηγία. Σε δεύτερη φάση κάποιοι από τους "διαφημιζόμενους" μας στήριξαν. Όμως σαν πιλοτικό επεισόδιο θέλαμε να δείξουμε και πως μπορεί να γίνει τοποθέτηση προϊόντων για να χρηματοδοτηθεί και να έχει μέλλον η εκπομπή.

1) Δεν είχα gimbal. Όλα τα πλάνα είναι στο χέρι. Οι κάμερες που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν ήταν CANON 6D και GOPRO Hero4.
2) Τα περισσότερα πλάνα drone ήταν από συνεργάτη (όλα εκτός από το τέλος στα πλατανάκια που έγινε πιο μετά και είχα πάρει drone).
3) Το concept τότε ήταν εστιασμένο κυρίως στο φαγητό. Μέχρι τότε έκανα στην τηλεόραση εκπομπές μαγειρικής ή ταξιδιωτικές που είχαν σαν βασικό θέμα το φαγητό.
4) Αυτό δεν ήταν το πρώτο επεισόδιο που έπαιξε αλλά ήταν το πρώτο που γυρίστηκε. Ξεκινήσαμε με πιο καλοκαιρινό επεισόδιο και αυτό έπαιξε τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2015 στην τηλεόραση.
5) Το μεγαλύτερο κομμάτι το τράβηξα μόνος (είναι καθαρό vlog style) και κάποια μέρη με Ηλέκτρα. Το μοντάζ το έκανα εγώ.
Αυτά! Ξέρω ότι έχει ατέλειες αλλά ξέρω ότι φαίνεται ότι υπάρχει μια δυναμική με προοπτική εξέλιξης, κάτι που αποδείχθηκε και στην πορεία!
6) Αρχικά τίποτα τότε δεν ήταν χορηγία. Σε δεύτερη φάση κάποιοι από τους "διαφημιζόμενους" μας στήριξαν. Όμως σαν πιλοτικό επεισόδιο θέλαμε να δείξουμε και πως μπορεί να γίνει τοποθέτηση προϊόντων για να χρηματοδοτηθεί και να έχει μέλλον η εκπομπή.

We’re back in Greece! We’re starting this trip in the second biggest city in the country, Thessaloniki.
If you're looking for things to do in Thessaloniki this video is for you. We begin at pretty much the top of the city, at a castle called The Heptapyrgion,or Eptapyrgio. It started off as a castle and eventually turned into a prison. You can see remnants of both.
After this we headed back down the hill to a park with strange structures in them called Pasha’s Gardens.
We then headed all the way down the hill to get one of our favourite coffee drinks a Fredo Cappuccino and then explored the main square in Thessaloniki called Aristotelous Square.
Lastly we took a walk along the beautiful waterfront until we got to one of the most recognizable structures in the city, the White Tower. Here we headed to the top to enjoy the fantastic views of the city!
ABOUT THESSALONIKI
Thessaloniki is a Greek port city on the Thermaic Gulf of the Aegean Sea. Evidence of Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman history remains, especially around Ano Poli, the upper town. The ruins of Roman Emperor Galerius’ 4th-century palace include the Rotunda that has been both a church and a mosque. Much of the city center was destroyed in the Great Fire of 1917. The rebuilt 20th-century city has a modern European layout.

Γεια σας!! Αυτός ήταν ο πιλότος Happy Traveller που φτιάξαμε το 2015 και με αυτόν τον πιλότο ξεκινήσαμε τότε την εκπομπή στον ΣΚΑΙ. Μερικές σημειώσεις που σκέφτηκα να σας γράψω και ίσως σας φανούν ενδιαφέρουσες:
1) Δεν είχα gimbal. Όλα τα πλάνα είναι στο χέρι. Οι κάμερες που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν ήταν CANON 6D και GOPRO Hero4.
2) Τα περισσότερα πλάνα drone ήταν από συνεργάτη (όλα εκτός από το τέλος στα πλατανάκια που έγινε πιο μετά και είχα πάρει drone).
3) Το concept τότε ήταν εστιασμένο κυρίως στο φαγητό. Μέχρι τότε έκανα στην τηλεόραση εκπομπές μαγειρικής ή ταξιδιωτικές που είχαν σαν βασικό θέμα το φαγητό.
4) Αυτό δεν ήταν το πρώτο επεισόδιο που έπαιξε αλλά ήταν το πρώτο που γυρίστηκε. Ξεκινήσαμε με πιο καλοκαιρινό επεισόδιο και αυτό έπαιξε τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2015 στην τηλεόραση.
5) Το μεγαλύτερο κομμάτι το τράβηξα μόνος (είναι καθαρό vlog style) και κάποια μέρη με Ηλέκτρα. Το μοντάζ το έκανα εγώ.
Αυτά! Ξέρω ότι έχει ατέλειες αλλά ξέρω ότι φαίνεται ότι υπάρχει μια δυναμική με προοπτική εξέλιξης, κάτι που αποδείχθηκε και στην πορεία!
6) Αρχικά τίποτα τότε δεν ήταν χορηγία. Σε δεύτερη φάση κάποιοι από τους "διαφημιζόμενους" μας στήριξαν. Όμως σαν πιλοτικό επεισόδιο θέλαμε να δείξουμε και πως μπορεί να γίνει τοποθέτηση προϊόντων για να χρηματοδοτηθεί και να έχει μέλλον η εκπομπή.

Thessaloniki (Greek: Θεσσαλονίκη [θesaloˈnici]) is the second-largest city in Greece and the capital of Greek Macedonia, the administrative region of Central Macedonia and the Decentralized Administration of Macedonia and Thrace. Events such as the Thessaloniki International Trade Fair and the Thessaloniki International Film Festival are held annually, while the city also hosts the largest bi-annual meeting of the Greek diaspora. Thessaloniki is the 2014 European Youth Capital.
