"Ship Of Fools" was released on the album Night Moves in October of 1976. The album was the ninth by Bob Seger, and his first with The Silver Bullet Band.
Although the front cover only credits backing by the Silver Bullet Band, four of the nine songs on the album feature backing by the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section...which i doubt anyone would doubt didn't have the effect of taking an already great album up a notch or two.
I remember buying this album and listening to it back when it was released and it was such a stand-out then because I was listening to mostly prog and hard rock during that period...and it was just such a beautiful sounding, soulful record...it was one of the records that pretty much stayed standing up next to my turntable (I waxed way poetic on that turntable in the description for my "Night Moves" video already! LOL!) for many months, because I played it so frequently. It's a very special record to me and I love it still.
This is my second video for a track from the album (the first being something I tried for "Night Moves"...which i think is pretty awful now....I really need to remake that one! Yikes!!!!) I actually made the main effect (couple of variations of the ship lights over the album cover) around the time I made the "Night Moves" video, but I stopped working on the video for "Ship of Fools" because I found that is was blocked pretty much everywhere, so those clips sat around without a video to fill them out until I was thrilled to find out a couple months back that it was being allowed to play, so I set about finishing this video. Night Moves is one of those albums that I could easily be inspired to make a video for every single song. I hope you enjoy this one and thanks for watching!
Popular music critic Robert Christgau wrote that the riffs on Night Moves are classic rock and roll riffs, like those performed by Chuck Berry or the Rolling Stones, and that the album is about rock and roll for those who are no longer in their teens, like the song "Rock and Roll Never Forgets".
The Rolling Stone review of the album by Kit Rachlis stated that the album is one of the best to come out of 1976-77, that Seger sounds like Rod Stewart and writes lyrics like Bruce Springsteen, and that album is classic rock and roll. The only problem that Rachlis had with the album was the production not being strong enough. A later review of the album by Stephen Thomas Erlewine for Allmusic says that the album was very similar to Beautiful Loser, but Night Moves is harder than Beautiful Loser. Erlewine also feels that the album has a wide range of styles and has not lost any of its influence years later.
The album was well received by critics and gave Bob Seger nationwide success. Three singles were released from the album, with two of them making the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album became Seger's second to become certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America and was his first to be certified platinum by the same association. It later achieved a certification of sextuple platinum.

Bob Seger
Robert Clark "Bob" Seger (born May 6, 1945) is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist and pianist. As a locally successful Detroit-area artist, he performed and recorded as Bob Seger and the Last Heard and Bob Seger System throughout the 1960s. By the early 1970s, he had dropped the "System" from his recordings and continued to strive for broader success with various other bands. In 1973, he put together the Silver Bullet Band, a group of Detroit-area musicians, with whom he became most successful on the national level with the album Live Bullet, recorded live with the Silver Bullet Band in 1975 at Cobo Hall in Detroit, Michigan. In 1976, he achieved a national breakout with the studio album Night Moves. On his studio albums, he also worked extensively with the Alabama-based Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, which appeared on several of Seger's best-selling singles and albums.
A roots rocker with a classic raspy, shouting voice, Seger wrote and recorded songs that dealt with love, women and blue-collar themes and was an exemplar of heartland rock. Seger has recorded many hits, including "Night Moves", "Turn the Page", "Still the Same", "We've Got Tonight", "Against the Wind", "You'll Accomp'ny Me", "Shame on the Moon", "Like a Rock", and "Shakedown", which was written for Beverly Hills Cop II. Seger also co-wrote the Eagles' number-one hit "Heartache Tonight", and his iconic recording of "Old Time Rock and Roll" was named one of the Songs of the Century in 2001.

Nanny McPhee
Nanny McPhee is a 2005 family comedy fantasy film based on Nurse Matilda by Christianna Brand. It was directed by Kirk Jones, co-produced by StudioCanal, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Working Title Films, Three Strange Angels and Nanny McPhee Productions with music by Patrick Doyle and produced by Lindsay Doran, Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner. The film stars Emma Thompson, Colin Firth, Angela Lansbury and Thomas Sangster. The film was theatrically released on October 28, 2005 in the UK and on January 27, 2006 in the USA by Universal Pictures. In 19th century England, widowed undertaker Cedric Brown has seven unruly children. He is clumsy, loves his children but spends little time with them and cannot handle them. The children have had a series of nannies, which they systematically drive out by their bad behaviour. They also terrorise the cook, Mrs Blatherwick.

George A. Romero
George Andrew Romero (/rəˈmɛroʊ/; born February 4, 1940) is an American-Canadian filmmaker and editor, best known for his series of gruesome and satirical horror films about a hypothetical zombie apocalypse, beginning with Night of the Living Dead (1968).
Life and career
Romero was born in the New York City borough of The Bronx, to a Cuban-born father and a Lithuanian American mother. His father has been reported as born in A Coruña, with his family coming from the Galician town of Neda, although Romero once described his father as of Castilian descent. His father worked as a commercial artist. Romero was raised in the Bronx, and would frequently ride the subway into Manhattan to rent film reels to view at his house.
Romero attended Pittsburgh's Carnegie Mellon University. After graduating in 1960, he began his career shooting short films and commercials. One of his early commercial films was a segment for Mister Rogers' Neighborhood in which Mr. Rogers underwent a tonsillectomy. He, along with nine friends, formed Image Ten Productions in the late 1960s, and produced Night of the Living Dead (1968). The movie, directed by Romero and co-written with John A. Russo, became a cult classic and a defining moment for modern horror cinema.

Emma Thompson
Emma Thompson (born 15 April 1959) is a British actress, comedian, and writer. She is known for her portrayals of reticent women, often in period dramas and literary adaptations, and playing haughty or matronly characters with a sense of irony. She is considered one of Britain's most accomplished actresses.
Born in London to English actor Eric Thompson and Scottish actress Phyllida Law, Thompson was educated at Newnham College, University of Cambridge, where she became a member of the Footlights troupe. After appearing in several comedy programmes, she first came to prominence in 1987 in two BBC TV series, Tutti Frutti and Fortunes of War, winning the BAFTA TV Award for Best Actress for her work in both. Her first film role came in the 1989 romantic comedy The Tall Guy, and in the early 1990s she frequently collaborated with her then husband, actor and director Kenneth Branagh. I remember buying this album and listening to it back when it was released and it was such a stand-out then because I was listening to mostly prog and hard rock during that period...and it was just such a beautiful sounding, soulful record...it was one of the records that pretty much stayed standing up next to my turntable (I waxed way poetic on that turntable in the description for my "Night Moves" video already! LOL!) for many months, because I played it so frequently. It's a very special record to me and I love it still.
This is my second video for a track from the album (the first being something I tried for "Night Moves"...which i think is pretty awful now....I really need to remake that one! Yikes!!!!) I actually made the main effect (couple of variations of the ship lights over the album cover) around the time I made the "Night Moves" video, but I stopped working on the video for "Ship of Fools" because I found that is was blocked pretty much everywhere, so those clips sat around without a video to fill them out until I was thrilled to find out a couple months back that it was being allowed to play, so I set about finishing this video. Night Moves is one of those albums that I could easily be inspired to make a video for every single song. I hope you enjoy this one and thanks for watching!
Popular music critic Robert Christgau wrote that the riffs on Night Moves are classic rock and roll riffs, like those performed by Chuck Berry or the Rolling Stones, and that the album is about rock and roll for those who are no longer in their teens, like the song "Rock and Roll Never Forgets".
The Rolling Stone review of the album by Kit Rachlis stated that the album is one of the best to come out of 1976-77, that Seger sounds like Rod Stewart and writes lyrics like Bruce Springsteen, and that album is classic rock and roll. The only problem that Rachlis had with the album was the production not being strong enough. A later review of the album by Stephen Thomas Erlewine for Allmusic says that the album was very similar to Beautiful Loser, but Night Moves is harder than Beautiful Loser. Erlewine also feels that the album has a wide range of styles and has not lost any of its influence years later.
The album was well received by critics and gave Bob Seger nationwide success. Three singles were released from the album, with two of them making the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album became Seger's second to become certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America and was his first to be certified platinum by the same association. It later achieved a certification of sextuple platinum.

"Ship Of Fools" was released on the album Night Moves in October of 1976. The album was the ninth by Bob Seger, and his first with The Silver Bullet Band.
Although the front cover only credits backing by the Silver Bullet Band, four of the nine songs on the album feature backing by the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section...which i doubt anyone would doubt didn't have the effect of taking an already great album up a notch or two.
I remember buying this album and listening to it back when it was released and it was such a stand-out then because I was listening to mostly prog and hard rock during that period...and it was just such a beautiful sounding, soulful record...it was one of the records that pretty much stayed standing up next to my turntable (I waxed way poetic on that turntable in the description for my "Night Moves" video already! LOL!) for many months, because I played it so frequently. It's a very special record to me and I love it still.
This is my second video for a track from the album (the first being something I tried for "Night Moves"...which i think is pretty awful now....I really need to remake that one! Yikes!!!!) I actually made the main effect (couple of variations of the ship lights over the album cover) around the time I made the "Night Moves" video, but I stopped working on the video for "Ship of Fools" because I found that is was blocked pretty much everywhere, so those clips sat around without a video to fill them out until I was thrilled to find out a couple months back that it was being allowed to play, so I set about finishing this video. Night Moves is one of those albums that I could easily be inspired to make a video for every single song. I hope you enjoy this one and thanks for watching!
Popular music critic Robert Christgau wrote that the riffs on Night Moves are classic rock and roll riffs, like those performed by Chuck Berry or the Rolling Stones, and that the album is about rock and roll for those who are no longer in their teens, like the song "Rock and Roll Never Forgets".
The Rolling Stone review of the album by Kit Rachlis stated that the album is one of the best to come out of 1976-77, that Seger sounds like Rod Stewart and writes lyrics like Bruce Springsteen, and that album is classic rock and roll. The only problem that Rachlis had with the album was the production not being strong enough. A later review of the album by Stephen Thomas Erlewine for Allmusic says that the album was very similar to Beautiful Loser, but Night Moves is harder than Beautiful Loser. Erlewine also feels that the album has a wide range of styles and has not lost any of its influence years later.
The album was well received by critics and gave Bob Seger nationwide success. Three singles were released from the album, with two of them making the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album became Seger's second to become certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America and was his first to be certified platinum by the same association. It later achieved a certification of sextuple platinum.

John Wayne Parr vs Chris Alan. 5 cuts, 54 stitches.
On the eve of my 22nd birthday back in 1998. I had been living in Thailand for the last 2 years and wanted to show everyone how much I had learned since being away. Ended up with 5 cuts. The doctor couldn't stitch me until after the show. At midnight he was ready to put my face back together. As he was getting ready I told him "It's just turned 12am, it's my birthday". Doctor says "happy birthday, pick a cut". From there I spend the next 2 hours getting 54 stitches in my face. I believe this is the very first full Thai rules fight ever to be shown on Foxsports, and this happens. It's nice to be part of history.

The story of Land of the Dead deals with a zombie assault on Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where a feudal-like government exists. The survivors in the film have fled to the Golden Triangle area of downtown Pittsburgh. The region is protected on two sides by rivers and on the other by an electric barricade that survivors term "the Throat." Released in North America on June 24, 2005, Land of the Dead received mostly positive reviews from film critics.

On the eve of my 22nd birthday back in 1998. I had been living in Thailand for the last 2 years and wanted to show everyone how much I had learned since being away. Ended up with 5 cuts. The doctor couldn't stitch me until after the show. At midnight he was ready to put my face back together. As he was getting ready I told him "It's just turned 12am, it's my birthday". Doctor says "happy birthday, pick a cut". From there I spend the next 2 hours getting 54 stitches in my face.
I believe this is the very first full Thai rules fight ever to be shown on Foxsports, and this happens. It's nice to be part of history.
