Description:
We are all well aware of the Seven Wonders of the World, which vary between man-made spectacles of nature and what Mother Earth has created on her own. But believe it or not, the Seven Wonders seem to upstage other beautiful and incredible locations around the world. They are so surreal, that you will think that maybe they are perhaps from a painting, or a glimpse from a person’s imagination. Whether you’re a world traveler, or a homebody, do yourself a favor and go out to see these places before you die. You definitely will not regret it. But what exactly should you go out and see and where do you start?
For example, in Norway, there is a place called Trolltunga, and it was created over 10,000 years ago and is a rather popular destination for hikers and bikers. If you’re afraid of heights, then you might want to avoid this place, as there is nothing stopping you from falling into the foggy abyss as it is 1,100 meters above sea level and 700 meters above the lake it towers over. Interestingly enough, Trolltunga has seen no fatalities so far.
In Australia, there is a pink body of water called Lake Hillier that spans 600 meters long and 250 meters side. The lake is a saline lake, and is rather popular amongst tourists and locals alike. The pink color has remained a mystery for a while, and the water stays pink even if you take some out of it. It is speculated that it is algae that makes the water turn its pink color. But if you need something a little cooler, then head on over to Alaska to the Mendenhall Ice Caves and are located under the 12 mile long Mendenhall Glacier near Juneau, Alaska. But you might want to make a rush visit since global warming has already caused part of the cave to collapse. Not to mention that you also have to kayak and ice climb to also reach the ice caves.
In Mexico, there is the Cenotes de Yucatan, where there are over 7,000 sinkholes thanks to the collapse of the landscape’s limestone. The waters in the Yucatan Peninsula are crystal clear, making the location extremely popular amongst scuba divers. The area has vast caves and secret passageways and caves…all under water. In Turkey, there is the Palmukkale, which is a natural spot in the country made up of 17 hot springs and travertine ranging from 35 to 100 degrees Celsius. People love to visit Palmukkale because they can bathe in the hot springs, which has been a practice for thousands of years.
Fly Geyser looks like it was taken out of a painting, but it was really created by accident from a drilling incident in 1964. Minerals upon minerals piled on top of the site, creating a colorful geyser that is a popular tourist destination in Nevada. But be careful, you can only access it from a private road. In Belize, there is a place called the Great Blue Hole, which Jacques Cousteau declared it as one of the best scuba diving site being 300 meters long and 124 meters deep.
These are just a few of the amazing surreal sites that you have to see before you die. So, take a look at the video and be prepared to be amazed.

Places to Visit is an Extended Play released by British group Saint Etienne in May 1999. It showed the band moving toward the experimental electronic sound that they perfected on their next official full-length, 2000's Sound of Water.
Originally released in 1999 in the US only on Sub Pop, German label Bungalow released a vinyl version in 2000. The German release included as a bonus track "Garage for Gunther", the B-side to "52 Pilot".
The EP appeared in its entirety on the second disc of the 2009 deluxe edition reissue of Sound of Water, also marking the first UK release of the tracks.
"Sadie's Anniversary" and "Half Timbered" are tracks omitted from the Misadventures Of Margaret soundtrack. Sadie is incidentally the name of the band's longtime backing singer's daughter. Debsey, the backing singer, has been with the band since the early days of them performing live. She is also Sarah Cracknell's sister-in-law.
"We're in the City" is featured in the 1999 film But I'm a Cheerleader.

We are all well aware of the Seven Wonders of the World, which vary between man-made spectacles of nature and what Mother Earth has created on her own. But believe it or not, the Seven Wonders seem to upstage other beautiful and incredible locations around the world. They are so surreal, that you will think that maybe they are perhaps from a painting, or a glimpse from a person’s imagination. Whether you’re a world traveler, or a homebody, do yourself a favor and go out to see these places before you die. You definitely will not regret it. But what exactly should you go out and see and where do you start?
For example, in Norway, there is a place called Trolltunga, and it was created over 10,000 years ago and is a rather popular destination for hikers and bikers. If you’re afraid of heights, then you might want to avoid this place, as there is nothing stopping you from falling into the foggy abyss as it is 1,100 meters above sea level and 700 meters above the lake it towers over. Interestingly enough, Trolltunga has seen no fatalities so far.
In Australia, there is a pink body of water called Lake Hillier that spans 600 meters long and 250 meters side. The lake is a saline lake, and is rather popular amongst tourists and locals alike. The pink color has remained a mystery for a while, and the water stays pink even if you take some out of it. It is speculated that it is algae that makes the water turn its pink color. But if you need something a little cooler, then head on over to Alaska to the Mendenhall Ice Caves and are located under the 12 mile long Mendenhall Glacier near Juneau, Alaska. But you might want to make a rush visit since global warming has already caused part of the cave to collapse. Not to mention that you also have to kayak and ice climb to also reach the ice caves.
In Mexico, there is the Cenotes de Yucatan, where there are over 7,000 sinkholes thanks to the collapse of the landscape’s limestone. The waters in the Yucatan Peninsula are crystal clear, making the location extremely popular amongst scuba divers. The area has vast caves and secret passageways and caves…all under water. In Turkey, there is the Palmukkale, which is a natural spot in the country made up of 17 hot springs and travertine ranging from 35 to 100 degrees Celsius. People love to visit Palmukkale because they can bathe in the hot springs, which has been a practice for thousands of years.
Fly Geyser looks like it was taken out of a painting, but it was really created by accident from a drilling incident in 1964. Minerals upon minerals piled on top of the site, creating a colorful geyser that is a popular tourist destination in Nevada. But be careful, you can only access it from a private road. In Belize, there is a place called the Great Blue Hole, which Jacques Cousteau declared it as one of the best scuba diving site being 300 meters long and 124 meters deep.
These are just a few of the amazing surreal sites that you have to see before you die. So, take a look at the video and be prepared to be amazed.

So Hello from London! Time for a new destination. This is a city that I haven't visited in almost 4 years. So we're both very excited to be in London. And we're going to be making a little video guide. Actually a really big video guide because we plan on showing you 50 different things to do around London.
Our first stop was Trafalgar Square. This square leads to a lot of central attractions, so it's a nice place to people watch, get your bearings, and plan out where you want to go in the city.
The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the Thames. It offers a bird's eye view of the city.
Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence for Britain's sovereigns since 1837. The State Rooms at Buckingham Palace are open to visitors every year.
The Palace of Westminster, also known as the Houses of Parliament, is the meeting place of the House of Commons and the House of Lords. The Palace along with Big Ben are two of the top London attractions that dot the city-scape.
The Tower of London sits on the north bank of the River Thames.
And that's a wrap for London! Like with any mega city, it's impossible to cover all the sights and attractions you can enjoy here, but hopefully this video will give you an idea of what London has to offer.

Las Vegas! Vegas, Baby! With a weekend to explore Las Vegas we arrived hitting the ground running wanting to pack in as much as we possibly could over a short period of time. Nigh life, music, gambling, entertainment, dancing, walking the Strip and shows in the evening. Driving luxury cars, helicopter tours, exploring the Grand Canyon and marveling at Red Rock Canyon by day. Las Vegas was full of surprises. The following is a Las Vegas travel guide to experience the most out of your vacation to Sin City. It is the best things to do on Las Vegas Strip along with day excursions outside of the city limits. As they say, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
So we aren't in Canada no more! This weekend we actually escaped to Las Vegas so we are going to be spending three days just enjoying winter in the desert and doing cool stuff. And today we're walking down the strip and we're going to show you some of the sights. And the best part - no winter parka right now.
Enough walking for a while. I'm starving. Let's get some dinner. We're going to Shake Shack.
Tell, me. Tell, me! You know what? Nobody does fast food like Americans. They've got it down to a science. It's absolutely unhealthy but so delicious.
We're going to head back to the hotel and get ready for a show. We're going to be seeing the Michael Jackson Show at the Mandalay Bay but unfortunately we can't bring any cameras in there so we won' t be able to show you that but maybe after the show we'll hit the town again and show you the sights. Not maybe! Definitely!
It is so sad to be leaving but it is our last night in Las Vegas so we're going to go out and try and see as much as we can this evening. Let's go wild. Let's gamble.
It is never ending. The lights. The noise. The ding ding ding ding. This is what a casino sounds like twenty-four seven. We see people gambling here at like five in the morning when we get up for breakfast.
What would a trip to Vegas be like without a little gambling? Sam, even looks like an old gambler today with that hat. Oh, I do. Guess what? We're such cheapskates we're playing with pennies. We're going to the penny machine. They don't even have pennies in Canada anymore, so let's use these American pennies up.
Shiver me timbers. I'm playing a pirate game. I'm going to win me some money.
Tell us? Alright, I was a pretty lousy pirate, so I'm going to try my luck with this Owl game. Hoot! Hoot!
Ding ding ding ding ding. Being the supreme cheapskate that I am I'm cutting my loses after two dollars.
So we're here at the Bellagio for the water show. And they have a lot of frequent shows in the evening so we're just waiting for it to start.
So we are now at the Cosmopolitan and we are visiting one of the coolest bars in all of Las Vegas. This behind me is the Chandelier.

Medellin Colombia
The city is situated in a beautiful valley, offering mountain views from every angle. Combine the natural setting with Spring-like temperatures year round, Medellin offers a very comfortable climate both day and night.
Nightlife in Medellin is a big draw among younger travelers, as paisas love to dance, drink, and party. The women are reputed to be the most beautiful in Colombia, if not all of South America, and that reputation alone continues to attract more and more male travelers.
Most foreigners know little about Medellin other than it was the former home and stomping grounds of Pablo Escobar, and therefore once listed as the most dangerous city in the world. In the last few years, several companies have set up organized tours to cater to the tourist-demand for information on this tragic chapter in the city's history.
Best Things to See and Do
Medellin is home to Colombia's most famous artist, Fernando Botero. In the city center, you can walk through Botero Plaza and get your picture taken amongst a few dozen of his large metal sculptures.
The plaza also features the Museo de Antioquia which features some of Botero's paintings, as well as other Latin artists.
One of the reasons Medellin is a popular place for expats to live in Colombia is the metro system. Medellin features Colombia's only metro train. From the main train line that runs North/South through the city, are several cable cars (like ski gondolas) that run up the mountains to poorer neighborhoods.
These cable cars are meant to give residents easier access to the city, however they also offer a cheap and fun way to get panoramic views of the entire city.
If you prefer adrenaline-pumping activities, paragliding is available for as little as $45 per 25-minute flight.
Where to Eat in Medellin
For a taste of the local cuisine, head to Mondongo's where you can try the mondongo (tripe) soup. Mexican food is often done well, and I'm a fan of 1910 Revolucion Mexicana for the stylish decor as much as the food. And if you're craving excellent creole or north Brazilian food, head to Bonuar, which is adjacent the Modern Art Museum, and features live Blues during the week.
Where to Drink and Dance
While the bars and discotecas around Parque Lleras are always busy on the weekends, there are many more places to party with locals than the Zona Rosa. A paisa favorite is the raucous Dulce Jesus Mio, which is decorated like a mock Antioquian pueblo. Workers dress up as caricatures of typical townspeople. Get there early (9 pm), and ensure you have at least one girl with you, to get a table.
For some of the city's best live salsa music, head downtown to El Eslabon Prendido on a Tuesday night (around 9:30 pm if you want a table). If you actually want room to dance, then go to the upscale Cien Fuegos, which features the biggest dance floor in town.
Best Area for a Night on the Town
Parque Lleras is the most accessible — you can just walk around until you find a bar or discoteca that looks like fun. Or, hop a cab to nearby Barrio Colombia and you'll have a dozen different discotecas to choose from, all within a few square blocks. And you'll see fewer foreigners than in Parque Lleras.
More adventurous visitors will go a bit further to La 33, or La 70, a five-block strip of salsa bars and clubs on the West side of the city.
Getting Around Medellin
Medellin is a large city, so while you'll be able to walk around within neighborhoods, you'll need public transport to get you around the city. Bus rides, which can be confusing at first, cost about 65 cents each, while a single ride on the metro will run you 85 cents.
The metro is very easy to use, clean, and generally safe (there's security at every station and platform). Taxis are metered, and you can go from one end of the city to the other for $6-7.
Events and Festivals
In early July, Medellin hosts Colombia's annual salsa festival. The weekend event is a combination of salsa workshops, competitions, and at night, social dancing.
As the fashion capital of Colombia, Medellin hosts Colombiamoda (fashion week) every July as well. The 3-day event is open to the public during the day (a pass costs about $40), while the runway shows are invite-only.
La Feria de las Flores, the city's annual flower parade, runs from the last week of July through the first week of August. The weekends are busy with parades, including La Cabalgata horse parade, an antique car parade, and the flower parade. There are also lots of concerts and special events held during the 10-day celebrations.
