plus tard : Si loin, si proche ! Le Mur de Berlin est tombé. Cassiel est là, pardessus l’épaule de Mikhaïl Gorbatchev, lisant ses pensées. Il aimerait s’exprimer, s’exclamer, critiquer plutôt que toujours acquiescer. Mais il n’en a pas le droit. Sa compagne, l’ange
Raphaëla, sent que l’intimité qui les liait s’étiole : Cassiel ne veut plus être un ange, il attend la moindre occasion pour passer de l’autre côté.
La Critique : Pour Wenders – exactement comme pour Godard –
les images sont des signes qu’on interroge et qui gardent toujours une part de mystère. Non parce qu’elles sont hermétiques mais, au contraire, parce qu’elle sont riches de trop de sens. Elles n’obéissent
donc plus aux critères dramatiques classiques. Il n’y a plus de temps forts et de temps faibles : chez Wenders, un temps faible devient un temps fort. Dans Si loin, si proche !, il n’y a pas de différence entre le
plan où Cassiel sauve la vie du gangster Tony Baker qui a les deux pieds dans une bassine de ciment en train de se solidifier, et celui d’une cour d’immeuble où s’entrainent des acrobates. Le premier nous ravit comme un clin d’oeil à tous les films de gangsters.
C’est un archétype. Le second nous émeut comme un défi à la pesanteur. Et c’est aussi un archétype : celui d’un rêve aussi vieux que l’humanité.

My recorder (Zoom mrs 802) does not work and to get it repaired it would cost me more than a new one. Almost impossible to get spare parts. I now have a new (Zoom R8) In order to learn its functions I tried to record a duet. For this purpose I found a little duet which looked quite easy, but of course nothing is easy to play on the classical guitar. However it's a GREAT PLEASURE to try!

The two Baldachin organs in Churburg and Chur are among the smallest historical organs in the world. The longest pipes are two feet, the eight foot sound coming from the short resonators of a Regal stop. The instruments are fully portable and would have been used for processions outside. For this reason they are completely covered and there are no pipes to be seen. They are also referred to as “canopy organs”.
The mechanics are simple. The keys are directly above the pallets and they push them open with little rods. The stopknobs are on the side of the organ and are connected directly to the sliders. This means the organ is simply the width of the keyboard and the depth of the windchest plus keyboard.
SCHLOSS CHURBURG
The 1559 Michael Stobl organ in Churburg Castle is the oldest organ in South Tirol. It is situated in the German-speaking part of northern Italy, just above the town of Schluderns. The organ was built for the knight Jakob Trapp. The Trapp family still own the castle which can now be visited. The lattice ornamentation is cut out of copper plate, then gold plated and fitted with red velvet. The entire instrument is 95 cm wide and 91 cm tall.

RÄTISCHE MUSEUM, CHUR
Unlike the organ in Churburg, little is known about the history of this even smaller organ. It was likely built around 1600. The builder is not known. In any case it is the oldest organ in the Canton of Graubunden, Switzerland. It is likely that it was built as a procession organ for the cathedral in Chur. It was sold in 1848 and eventually ended up in the private possession of the priest Ulrich Valär of Jenez. In 1982 it was entered into the collection of the Rhaetian Museum in Chur. It was restored in 1986 by the Swiss firm of Kuhn.

Wim Wenders
Ernst Wilhelm "Wim" Wenders (German pronunciation: [vɪm vɛndəɐs]; born 14 August 1945) is a German filmmaker, playwright, author, photographer, and a major figure in New German Cinema. In a career spanning over four decades, he has received some of the highest international film awards, including the Palme d'Or at the 1984 Cannes Film Festival for his drama Paris, Texas; the Golden Lion for the drama The State of Things at the Venice Film Festival (1982); and Best Director for the romantic fantasy film Wings of Desire at the 1987 Cannes Film Festival. He has been nominated for the Academy Awards three times, for his documentaries Buena Vista Social Club, about the music of Cuba, Pina, about the contemporary dance choreographer Pina Bausch, and The Salt of the Earth, about Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado. Since 1996, Wenders has been the president of the European Film Academy in Berlin.

William Hurt
William McChord Hurt (born March 20, 1950) is an American stage and film actor. He received his acting training at the Juilliard School and began acting on stage in the 1970s. Hurt made his film debut as a troubled scientist in the science-fiction feature Altered States (1980), for which he received a Golden Globe nomination for New Star of the Year. He subsequently played a leading role, as a lawyer who succumbs to the temptations of Kathleen Turner, in the neo-noir Body Heat (1981).
In 1985, Hurt garnered critical acclaim and multiple acting awards, including an Academy Award and a BAFTA Award for Best Actor, for portraying a gay man in Kiss of the Spider Woman. He received another two Academy Award nominations for his lead performances in Children of a Lesser God (1986) and Broadcast News (1987). Hurt remained an active stage actor throughout the 1980s, appearing in Off-Broadway productions, including Henry V, Fifth of July, Richard II and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Hurt received his first Tony Award nomination in 1985 for the Broadway production of Hurlyburly.

Susan Lynch
Susan Lynch (born 5 June 1971) is an actress from Northern Ireland.
Early life
Lynch was born in Corrinshego, Newry, County Armagh, Northern Ireland to an Italian mother and Irish father. She has four siblings, including John, an actor, and Pauline, a drama teacher at St. Paul's High School, Bessbrook.
Career
She trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, and in August 2004, she starred in The Night Season at the Royal National Theatre in London. In 2008 was one of the leads in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot at the Almeida Theatre.
Her film roles include Beautiful Creatures,Waking Ned Devine, and the title role in Nora.
Personal life
Lynch moved to live in Painswick, Gloucestershire with her husband in 2008. The couple have one son.
Awards
On 3 December 2000, she received three Irish Film and Television Academy Awards, including Best Leading Actress for her work in the film Nora.

A film festival is an organized, extended presentation of films in one or more cinemas or screening venues, usually in a single city or region. Increasingly, film festivals show some films outdoors. I now have a new (Zoom R8) In order to learn its functions I tried to record a duet. 1559 Michael Strobl – Castel Coira, Churburg, Italy ca. 1600 anonymous – Rätische Museum, Chur, Switzerland The two Baldachin organs in Churburg and Chur are among the smallest historical organs in the world. The longest pipes are two feet, the eight foot sound coming from the short resonators of a Regal stop. The instruments are fully portable and would have been used for processions outside. For this reason they are completely covered and there are no pipes to be seen. They are also referred to as “canopy organs”. The mechanics are simple. The keys are directly above the pallets and they push them open with little rods. The stopknobs are on the side of the organ and are connected directly to the sliders. This means the organ is simply the width of the keyboard and the depth of the windchest plus keyboard. SCHLOSS CHURBURG The 1559 Michael Stobl organ in Churburg Castle is the oldest organ in South Tirol. It is situated in the German-speaking part of northern Italy, just above the town of Schluderns. The organ was built for the knight Jakob Trapp. The Trapp family still own the castle which can now be visited. The lattice ornamentation is cut out of copper plate, then gold plated and fitted with red velvet. The entire instrument is 95 cm wide and 91 cm tall. The builder is not known. In any case it is the oldest organ in the Canton of Graubunden, Switzerland. It is likely that it was built as a procession organ for the cathedral in Chur. It was sold in 1848 and eventually ended up in the private possession of the priest Ulrich Valär of Jenez. In 1982 it was entered into the collection of the Rhaetian Museum in Chur. choisissait de devenir simple mortel pour l’amour de Marion, une trapéziste. Il abandonnait son ami Cassiel à sa triste condition d’ange, d’observateur silencieux des vies humaines. Six ans
plus tard : Si loin, si proche ! Le Mur de Berlin est tombé. Cassiel est là, pardessus l’épaule de Mikhaïl Gorbatchev, lisant ses pensées. Il aimerait s’exprimer, s’exclamer, critiquer plutôt que toujours acquiescer. Mais il n’en a pas le droit. Sa compagne, l’ange
Raphaëla, sent que l’intimité qui les liait s’étiole : Cassiel ne veut plus être un ange, il attend la moindre occasion pour passer de l’autre côté.
La Critique : Pour Wenders – exactement comme pour Godard –
les images sont des signes qu’on interroge et qui gardent toujours une part de mystère. Non parce qu’elles sont hermétiques mais, au contraire, parce qu’elle sont riches de trop de sens. Elles n’obéissent
donc plus aux critères dramatiques classiques. Il n’y a plus de temps forts et de temps faibles : chez Wenders, un temps faible devient un temps fort. Dans Si loin, si proche !, il n’y a pas de différence entre le
plan où Cassiel sauve la vie du gangster Tony Baker qui a les deux pieds dans une bassine de ciment en train de se solidifier, et celui d’une cour d’immeuble où s’entrainent des acrobates. Le premier nous ravit comme un clin d’oeil à tous les films de gangsters.
C’est un archétype. Le second nous émeut comme un défi à la pesanteur. Et c’est aussi un archétype : celui d’un rêve aussi vieux que l’humanité.

les images sont des signes qu’on interroge et qui gardent toujours une part de mystère. Non parce qu’elles sont hermétiques mais, au contraire, parce qu’elle sont riches de trop de sens. Elles n’obéissent
donc plus aux critères dramatiques classiques. Il n’y a plus de temps forts et de temps faibles : chez Wenders, un temps faible devient un temps fort. Dans Si loin, si proche !, il n’y a pas de différence entre le
plan où Cassiel sauve la vie du gangster Tony Baker qui a les deux pieds dans une bassine de ciment en train de se solidifier, et celui d’une cour d’immeuble où s’entrainent des acrobates. Le premier nous ravit comme un clin d’oeil à tous les films de gangsters.
C’est un archétype. Le second nous émeut comme un défi à la pesanteur. Et c’est aussi un archétype : celui d’un rêve aussi vieux que l’humanité.

I now have a new (Zoom R8) In order to learn its functions I tried to record a duet. For this purpose I found a little duet which looked quite easy, but of course nothing is easy to play on the classical guitar. However it's a GREAT PLEASURE to try!

The two Baldachin organs in Churburg and Chur are among the smallest historical organs in the world. The longest pipes are two feet, the eight foot sound coming from the short resonators of a Regal stop. The instruments are fully portable and would have been used for processions outside. For this reason they are completely covered and there are no pipes to be seen. They are also referred to as “canopy organs”.
The mechanics are simple. The keys are directly above the pallets and they push them open with little rods. The stopknobs are on the side of the organ and are connected directly to the sliders. This means the organ is simply the width of the keyboard and the depth of the windchest plus keyboard.
SCHLOSS CHURBURG
The 1559 Michael Stobl organ in Churburg Castle is the oldest organ in South Tirol. It is situated in the German-speaking part of northern Italy, just above the town of Schluderns. The organ was built for the knight Jakob Trapp. The Trapp family still own the castle which can now be visited. The lattice ornamentation is cut out of copper plate, then gold plated and fitted with red velvet. The entire instrument is 95 cm wide and 91 cm tall.

In any case it is the oldest organ in the Canton of Graubunden, Switzerland. It is likely that it was built as a procession organ for the cathedral in Chur. It was sold in 1848 and eventually ended up in the private possession of the priest Ulrich Valär of Jenez. In 1982 it was entered into the collection of the Rhaetian Museum in Chur. It was restored in 1986 by the Swiss firm of Kuhn.

Around 3,000 firefighters in California battled major wildfires after the end of a five-year drought across the state, as it was gripped by a record-breaking heatwave.
