When officers arrive, they find the dad still in the house, refusing to calm down after a friendly game of Lotería went horribly awry. Officer Rapp detains the subject in order to get to the bottom of the family dispute. One of the sons has a torn shirt and bloody knuckles, but no one else is injured. After questioning the son, it's learned that he pummeled a nearby fence because he was so angry at his dad. Since no one was hit by anyone else, it's decided that the family should go their separate ways in an effort to calm down and avoid any further issues.

Once his backup arrives, they arrest the man, but he resists getting in the police car. A few minutes after they get him inside, the man kicks the door and damages it. LyBrand and his partner then restrain the man's legs to prevent further damage and take him to jail.

He quickly spots a vehicle driving across a grassy area that is not a designated road with his headlights off. The driver explains that he has a license, but the "Sheriff" has his license. The front seat passenger tells Deputy Lee that he was trying to get home and does not have any identification. The backseat passenger gives his name as well. A K-9 unit shows up and Deputy Lee decides to take the men out of the vehicle because he smelled marijuana in the car. The front seat passenger gets out of the car and immediately attempts to run from the deputy during the pat down. After a brief struggle with the man, the deputy takes him into custody and finds a small baggie of marijuana in his pants. The driver of the vehicle complains about the circumstances of his friend's arrest and tells the deputies his friend is a 'jitterbug'. The driver is given a warning for the equipment violation and is cut loose. The passenger that tried to run tells deputies he feels dumb for trying to run. He is informed of his charges. Later, Deputy Lee learns the man has a $50,000 warrant for weapons related charges.

Cops (TV series)
Cops (stylized as COPS) is an American documentary/reality legal series that follows police officers, constables, sheriff's deputies, federal agents and state troopers during patrols and other police activities including vice and narcotics stings. It is one of the longest-running television programs in the United States and in May 2011 became the longest-running show on Fox with the announcement that America's Most Wanted was being canceled after 23 years. It follows the activities of police officers by assigning television camera crews to accompany them as they perform their duties. The show's formula follows the cinéma vérité convention, with no narration or scripted dialog, depending entirely on the commentary of the officers and on the actions of the people with whom they come into contact.
Created by John Langley and Malcolm Barbour, it premiered on March 11, 1989. It won the American Television Award in 1993 and has earned four Emmy nominations. When it expanded to show two episodes in the 8 p.m. hour, it was called Primetime Cops in promos for several years. The series was one of only two remaining first-run prime-time programs airing on Saturday nights on the four major U.S. broadcast television networks (along with CBS's 48 Hours Mystery).

She met up with several K-9 Deputies who began a track with the helicopter over head leading the way. After an extensive search, the helicopter spotted the suspect running down the street. After losing him again, they heard a woman screaming for help just around the corner from them. Deputies ran to her as she screamed to them that the suspect was in her house. K-9 and Deputy Davis made their way into the victim's house and found the woman's husband trying to trap him inside their bedroom closet. Once K-9 got the husband out of the way, deputies rush the door open and spotted the suspect attempting to hide. He gave up and was arrested. Deputy Davis spoke with the home owners, who were beyond surprised to come home to our suspect breaking into their home. He was arrested and taken to jail. -

Surprisingly, the desperate driver escapes the officer's grasp and takes off in the vehicle. The suspects lead several units into a desert area where the driver bails out of the vehicle. He's eventually captured in some nearby brush by a swarm of officers. When asked why he ran, the driver says that he was recently released from prison and did not have a license. He's charged with felony evading, resisting arrest and possible drug possession. The passenger admits to steering the vehicle for the blind driver for fear of his life. He's charged with obstructing and evading.

http://www.cops.com Officer Kevin McCort - Glendale Police Department Officer Kevin McCort receives a call of a suspicious subject jumping fences and running through backyards in a neighborhood. When the officer arrives, the suspect is hiding in a backyard, trying to allude officers. The suspect is seen and begins running and jumping over a wall trying to get away from police. Officers chase after the suspect on foot, across streets and through another neighborhood. The suspect tries to hide again but he is found. With his pants around his ankles and hanging upside from a fence, officers take him into custody, where he is charged with trespassing and obstruction.

When officers arrive, they find the dad still in the house, refusing to calm down after a friendly game of Lotería went horribly awry. Officer Rapp detains the subject in order to get to the bottom of the family dispute. One of the sons has a torn shirt and bloody knuckles, but no one else is injured. After questioning the son, it's learned that he pummeled a nearby fence because he was so angry at his dad. Since no one was hit by anyone else, it's decided that the family should go their separate ways in an effort to calm down and avoid any further issues.

Surprisingly, the desperate driver escapes the officer's grasp and takes off in the vehicle. The suspects lead several units into a desert area where the driver bails out of the vehicle. He's eventually captured in some nearby brush by a swarm of officers. When asked why he ran, the driver says that he was recently released from prison and did not have a license. He's charged with felony evading, resisting arrest and possible drug possession. The passenger admits to steering the vehicle for the blind driver for fear of his life. He's charged with obstructing and evading.
