Perspective directions for green urban planning in Belarus were discussed in Minsk. International seminar was held within the framework of the project "Belarus: Supporting Green Urban Development in Small and Medium-Sized Cities of Belarus" ("Green Cities").
The outcomes of the project “Supporting the Transition to a Green Economy in the Republic of Belarus”, funded by the European Union and implemented by UNDP in partnership with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, have been presented in Minsk today.
On November 27, a press tour dedicated to the development of the tourist potential of the town of Smilavičy on the basis of its unique cultural heritage was held.
Achieving results in small business with "Small Towns" project
The first Belarusian production of office paper from recovered materials launched at Barysaŭ Goznak Paper Mill. The pilot initiative will help to preserve forest resources thanks to the replacing cellulose with waste paper when producing office paper and will expand the use of waste paper as raw material.
Minsk hosted international conference to develop proposals to support women's entrepreneurship in Belarus in the context of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
