Herein we present the Executive Summary of the National Human Development Report.
Event. Inclusive Belarus campaign 2016: Leaving No One Behind in Reaching Sustainable Development Goals
#InclusiveBelarus is the United Nations Belarus’ regional campaign aimed at reaching Sustainable Development Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities. By Travelling to 12 towns for seven weeks, the campaign focused to bring together representatives of international organizations, government, private and civil sectors, as well as vulnerable groups, on the way to a society of inclusion and equal opportunities for all.
What we do
UNDP has been working in Belarus since 1992, most recently under its Country Programme Document (CPD) 2016-2020. The current CPD focuses on three priority areas in line with the national development priorities:
- Stronger systems of inclusive and responsive governance;
- Greener growth incorporating productive capacities that target employment and create livelihoods for vulnerable groups;
- Better access to basic services for vulnerable groups.
UNDP in Belarus learns from and builds on past experiences and achievements to remain a flagship development agency in the country.
