Tobago Regional Health Authority - Proposal for Human Resource Intervention managed by UNDP.

Representatives of the UNDP attended the office of the Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development, Tobago House of Assembly on 27th November 2017. At the meeting, the involvement of the Tobago Regional Health Authority in a proposal for Human Resource Intervention at all Regional Health Authorities initiated by the Ministry of Health and managed by the UNDP was discussed. Issues surrounding the effective delivery of healthcare and suggestions for building capacity were also communicated.

Additionally, the Secretary and the Administrator committed to partaking in the Poverty Consultation project led by the UNDP aimed at determining a National Poverty Index for Trinidad and Tobago. Two consultations were agreed and tentatively scheduled for 18th and 19th December 2017.
