WHY PARENTS AND STUDENTS ARE A DREAM TEAM

Being a working parent is challenging at the best of times - school hours just don’t fit with a 9 to 5 and finding wrap-around care can be a struggle. Arrangements get even more tricky during the school holidays.

Students are also having a tough time, with spiralling university costs, zero-hour contracts and minimum wage that can be as low as £5.30 an hour.

This got us thinking… what if parents could hire intelligent local students to look after their children, paying them a fair wage? And what if these parents could act as career mentors for the students they hire? It’s a win-win situation.

Our short video tells you how studentnannies.com works, explains how students and parents can help each other and features some rather fine guinea pigs!
