Synopsis:
In a world of labels it’s easy to forget who made sportsmen, pop singers and matinee idols into stars, superstars and megastars - the FANS. Every FAN has their own personal relationship with their hero - it’s almost a Love Story.
FAN is the story of Gaurav (Shah Rukh Khan) a young man, 20 something, whose world revolves around the mega movie star Aryan Khanna (Shah Rukh Khan) or God as he refers to him.
From the by lanes of Delhi, young Gaurav embarks on a journey to the city of dreams, Mumbai, in order to wish his God on his birthday. After all, he is Aryan’s biggest FAN and even has a striking resemblance to him – how difficult could it be for the world biggest FAN to get an audience with the world’s biggest Star.
When things don't go according to plan, Gaurav’s love and passion for his God turns in to a dangerous obsession that crosses the fine line.
In an edge of the seat thriller, FAN will peel away at both Gaurav and Aryan’s personalities and characters as the two men discover people within themselves that even they didn't know existed, and we’re left wondering who to sympathize with and whom to root for – can we really pick a side, after all, Superstars are also human beings but each one of us is also a FAN.

"Faan se Trein" is a story about a simple minded man (Willie Esterhuizen) living in a tiny Karoo community, and his love of trains.
He lives with his ageing father, Frik (Cobus Roussouw), supported by the unconditional love of their neighbour Truia (Anel Alexander).
The town is divided about Faan, and his uncontrolled outbursts. Some feel threatened by him and push for him to be institutionalized, far away. Others feel he is harmless. Things come to a head when Faan's aged father, Frik, is awarded the contract to build the town dam only to fall terminally ill before the work is completed.
Greed and desire for Faan's inheritance, sets upon a scheme of manipulation and seduction of Faan. Faan is locked up, until the townsfolk step in to save Faan and take over his guardianship.

There was a new twist in the fight between the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and AIC Limited, owned by Harry Akande over a piece of land the former leased to the company about 10 years ago for the development of a hotel facility at the international wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos.
Officials of AIC on Tuesday stormed the airport premises to reclaim the land which was taken away from the company but were resisted by FAAN's Aviation Security officials, who threw caution to the wind and battled members of the AIC, including throwing stones at Mr Akande.
A forthnight ago, FAAN had won a case against AIC over the land as the Federal High Court in Lagos set aside the decision of arbitration that awarded the company $48 million to be paid by FAAN, as compensation for ejection of AIC from the land.
While FAAN insisted that the land in question belongs to it by virtue of the Federal High Court judgment; AIC also said the court never ordered the agency to take over the parcel of land immediately.
Eyewitness account said FAAN officials bulldozed their way into the barricaded land, pulled down the gates and commenced clearing of the land with two tractors and its personnel.

Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh Khan (born Shahrukh Khan, 2 November 1965), also known as SRK, is an Indian film actor, producer and television personality. Referred to in the media as the "Baadshah of Bollywood", "King of Bollywood" or "King Khan", he has appeared in more than 80 Bollywood films, and earned numerous accolades, including 14 Filmfare Awards. Khan has a significant following in Asia and the Indian diaspora worldwide. In terms of audience size and income, he has been described as one of the most successful film stars in the world.
Khan started his career with appearances in several television series in the late 1980s. He made his Bollywood debut in 1992 with Deewana. Early in his career, Khan was recognised for portraying villainous roles in the films Darr (1993), Baazigar (1993) and Anjaam (1994). He then rose to prominence after starring in a series of romantic films, including Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Dil To Pagal Hai (1997), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... (2001). He earned critical acclaim for his portrayal of an alcoholic in Devdas (2002), a NASA scientist in Swades (2004), a hockey coach in Chak De! India (2007) and a man with Asperger syndrome in My Name Is Khan (2010). Many of his films display themes of Indian national identity and connections with diaspora communities, or gender, racial, social and religious differences and grievances. For his contributions to film, the Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri, and the Government of France awarded him both the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and the Légion d'honneur.

Synopsis:
In a world of labels it’s easy to forget who made sportsmen, pop singers and matinee idols into stars, superstars and megastars - the FANS. Every FAN has their own personal relationship with their hero - it’s almost a Love Story.
FAN is the story of Gaurav (Shah Rukh Khan) a young man, 20 something, whose world revolves around the mega movie star Aryan Khanna (Shah Rukh Khan) or God as he refers to him.
From the by lanes of Delhi, young Gaurav embarks on a journey to the city of dreams, Mumbai, in order to wish his God on his birthday. After all, he is Aryan’s biggest FAN and even has a striking resemblance to him – how difficult could it be for the world biggest FAN to get an audience with the world’s biggest Star.
When things don't go according to plan, Gaurav’s love and passion for his God turns in to a dangerous obsession that crosses the fine line.
In an edge of the seat thriller, FAN will peel away at both Gaurav and Aryan’s personalities and characters as the two men discover people within themselves that even they didn't know existed, and we’re left wondering who to sympathize with and whom to root for – can we really pick a side, after all, Superstars are also human beings but each one of us is also a FAN.

"Faan se Trein" is a story about a simple minded man (Willie Esterhuizen) living in a tiny Karoo community, and his love of trains.
He lives with his ageing father, Frik (Cobus Roussouw), supported by the unconditional love of their neighbour Truia (Anel Alexander).
The town is divided about Faan, and his uncontrolled outbursts. Some feel threatened by him and push for him to be institutionalized, far away. Others feel he is harmless. Things come to a head when Faan's aged father, Frik, is awarded the contract to build the town dam only to fall terminally ill before the work is completed.
Greed and desire for Faan's inheritance, sets upon a scheme of manipulation and seduction of Faan. Faan is locked up, until the townsfolk step in to save Faan and take over his guardianship.

There was a new twist in the fight between the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and AIC Limited, owned by Harry Akande over a piece of land the former leased to the company about 10 years ago for the development of a hotel facility at the international wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos.
Officials of AIC on Tuesday stormed the airport premises to reclaim the land which was taken away from the company but were resisted by FAAN's Aviation Security officials, who threw caution to the wind and battled members of the AIC, including throwing stones at Mr Akande.
A forthnight ago, FAAN had won a case against AIC over the land as the Federal High Court in Lagos set aside the decision of arbitration that awarded the company $48 million to be paid by FAAN, as compensation for ejection of AIC from the land.
While FAAN insisted that the land in question belongs to it by virtue of the Federal High Court judgment; AIC also said the court never ordered the agency to take over the parcel of land immediately.
Eyewitness account said FAAN officials bulldozed their way into the barricaded land, pulled down the gates and commenced clearing of the land with two tractors and its personnel.
