Oliver Tobias
Oliver Tobias (born 6 August 1947) is a Swiss-born UK-based film, stage, and television actor and director.
Born Oliver Tobias Freitag in Zürich, Switzerland, he is the son of the Austrian-Swiss actor Robert Freitag and the German actress Maria Becker. He came to the United Kingdom at the age of eight and trained at East 15 Acting School, London. In 1968, he appeared in the original London production of Hair, playing the prime rebel role of Berger. The following year, he starred in, directed, and choreographed the rock opera in Amsterdam and, in 1970, directed a production in Tel Aviv.
Tobias's first role was in the feature film Romance of a Horsethief, co-starring with Yul Brynner, Serge Gainsbourg and Eli Wallach. He then co-starred with Charlotte Rampling in the Jacobean tragedy 'Tis Pity She's a Whore, a film directed by Giuseppe Patroni Griffi. He became popular as Arthur in the TV series Arthur of the Britons (1972). Peter Weir then directed him in the TV series Luke's Kingdom. Tobias also starred in Smuggler (1981) a children's drama series, set in Cornwall in 1801. Many other successful films followed, including The Stud in 1978 in which he co-starred with Joan Collins, helping her to restart her career. In 1981, he starred in the British television series Dick Turpin's Greatest adventure, where he played the character Noll Bridger, a Colonial North American. Oliver also appeared in the pop promo video for pop group Ultravox's 1982 hit "Hymn".

It is 1944 and World War II is reaching its climax. The Allies are poised to invade France and finally defeat the German army. But in Walmington-on-Sea morale amongst the Home Guard is low. Their new mission then – to patrol the Dover army base – is a great chance to revive spirits and reputation, that is until glamorous journalist Rose Winters arrives to write about their exploits, setting the pulses racing and putting the local women on red alert. MI5 then discover a radio signal sent direct to Berlin from Walmington-on-Sea. There’s a spy on the loose! The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!"

Tobias, more commonly called Toby, was a small little tram engine who worked on his tram line with his faithful coach Henrietta. But hard times came, and the tram line shut down. Toby thought it was the end, but when a stout gentleman came to the railway one day, Toby's life changed forever.
He was taken to Sodor, and began a new life. He soon began discovering he was stronger and faster than most of the other engines, much to the dismay of one express engine Gordon. He was so hailed, he was allowed to pull the express himself.

Let me tell you the story of how this happened:
Two years ago, Tyrone Fernandez released his ‘Toby’s Old Tramline’ route, and a whole slew of adaptations of ‘Toby and the Stout Gentleman’ came about. I, too, got caught up in the craze, but for my adaptation, I wanted to do something more. Much more.
As it turns out, I ended up with a lot more than I thought I would, and I’m just so amazed that I was able to pull this off. I’m sure there are many of you who seriously doubted, who laughed me off. I’m sure there are many of you who thought, “Stupid kid, go home, you can’t do it.” I’m guessing a lot of you were even laughing at me.
So let me take a moment to let the fact sink in that this movie is nearly *two hours long,* that it took *two years and a month* to make, and that I’m uploading it from college right now. I am going to school to become a filmmaker, and this is my first feature-length work. Filmmaking is the profession I want to get into, and this is my starting point.

Well… Here you are. Though a lot of it changed over the last two years, it is still essentially the same story I wrote two years ago, and man, has it been a journey. There were many ups and downs that came with making this film - not to mention at least four computer mishaps!

Tobias, more commonly called Toby, was a small little tram engine who worked on his tram line with his faithful coach Henrietta. But hard times came, and the tram line shut down. Toby thought it was the end, but when a stout gentleman came to the railway one day, Toby's life changed forever.
He was taken to Sodor, and began a new life. He soon began discovering he was stronger and faster than most of the other engines, much to the dismay of one express engine Gordon. He was so hailed, he was allowed to pull the express himself.
But Toby's power is not without cause - and effect. His powers were ill-begotten, and another engine faced the worse end of the equation.
