Espionage or, casually, spying involves a spy ring, government and company/firm or individual obtaining information considered secret or confidential without the permission of the holder of the information. Espionage is inherently clandestine, as it is by definition unwelcome and in many cases illegal and punishable by law. Espionage is a subset of "intelligence" gathering, which includes espionage as well as information gathering from public sources.
Espionage is often part of an institutional effort by a government or commercial concern. However, the term is generally associated with state spying on potential or actual enemies primarily for military purposes. Spying involving corporations is known as industrial espionage.
One of the most effective ways to gather data and information about the enemy (or potential enemy) is by infiltrating the enemy's ranks. This is the job of the spy (espionage agent). Spies can bring back all sorts of information concerning the size and strength of enemy forces. They can also find dissidents within the enemy's forces and influence them to defect. In times of crisis, spies can also be used to steal technology and to sabotage the enemy in various ways. Counterintelligence operatives can feed false information to enemy spies, protecting important domestic secrets, and preventing attempts at subversion. Nearly every country has very strict laws concerning espionage, and the penalty for being caught is often severe. However, the benefits that can be gained through espionage are generally great enough that most governments and many large corporations make use of it to varying degrees.

The United States of America (USA), commonly referred to as the United States (U.S.) or America, is a federal republic composed of 50 states, a federal district, five major territories and various possessions. The 48 contiguous states and Washington, D.C., are in central North America between Canada and Mexico. The state of Alaska is in the northwestern part of North America and the state of Hawaii is an archipelago in the mid-Pacific. The territories are scattered about the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. At 3.8 million square miles (9.842 million km2) and with over 320 million people, the country is the world's third or fourth-largest by total area and the third most populous. It is one of the world's most ethnically diverse and multicultural nations, the product of large-scale immigration from many countries. The geography and climate of the United States are also extremely diverse, and the country is home to a wide variety of wildlife.
The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is a civilian foreign intelligence service of the U.S. Government, tasked with gathering, processing and analyzing national security information from around the world, primarily through the use of human intelligence (HUMINT). As one of the principal members of the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC), the CIA reports to the Director of National Intelligence and is primarily focused on providing intelligence for the President and his Cabinet.
Unlike the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), which is a domestic security service, CIA has no law enforcement function and is mainly focused on overseas intelligence gathering, with only limited domestic collection. Though it is not the only U.S. government agency specializing in HUMINT, CIA serves as the national manager for coordination and deconfliction of HUMINT activities across the entire intelligence community. Moreover, CIA is the only agency authorized by law to carry out and oversee covert action on behalf of the President, unless the President determines that another agency is better suited for carrying out such action. It can, for example, exert foreign political influence through its tactical divisions, such as the Special Activities Division.
World War II (WWII or WW2), also known as the Second World War, was a global war that lasted from 1939 to 1945, although related conflicts began earlier. It involved the vast majority of the world's nations—including all of the great powers—eventually forming two opposing military alliances: the Allies and the Axis. It was the most widespread war in history, and directly involved more than 100 million people from over 30 countries. In a state of "total war", the major participants threw their entire economic, industrial, and scientific capabilities behind the war effort, erasing the distinction between civilian and military resources. Marked by mass deaths of civilians, including the Holocaust (in which approximately 11 million people were killed) and the strategic bombing of industrial and population centres (in which approximately one million were killed, and which included the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki), it resulted in an estimated 50 million to 85 million fatalities. These made World War II the deadliest conflict in human history.

Before Edward Snowden, there was Robert Lipka. He spied for the Russians at the NSA. Rather than flee to Moscow, Lipka moved to Pennsylvania and used the money he was paid by the Russians to bet on horse races. It took 32 years to bring Lipka to justice, and we may never know all of the state secrets he betrayed. Former FBI agent John Whiteside, discusses his book about the case, Fool’s Mate. He also addresses current security measures in the federal government and whether Barack Obama could pass an FBI background check.

One does not think of Arlington, VA as an exotic center of international espionage and intrigue. But this quiet suburban neighbor of the nation's capital has played an intriguing role -- for good and ill -- in the modern-day struggle between spy and counter-spy. Encore Learning and Arlington TV present a talk by Dr. David Robarge, chief historian of the Central Intelligence Agency. Dr. Robarge's stories range from that of Arlington Hall, where the Army Signals Intelligence unit cracked parts of the Soviet intelligence code after WWII to James Angleton, whose obsession with a "mole" in the CIA destroyed careers and led to his own downfall, and Aldrich Ames, the most destructive spy in CIA history, whose treason led to the deaths of ten clandestine American sources inside the Soviet Union...

Well, it's finally here after months of technical difficulties. I did finish this in December, 2014, but was unable to get it up until now. This was just something all of my siblings and I did together, and it was loads of fun! This wasn't made to be a perfect cinematic movie, but rather just as something all of us siblings could come together and do, before more of us start leaving for college. This is more of a family project, and was first suggested by my brother Sammy, who loves action movies, and was urged on by our mom. Adeline, who is blooming into a fantastic young writer, and I continued to flesh it out into a full script, and we started filming. We never thought it would be this long, but that made it all the more fun. We also filmed and completed this before my new brother Demis...

I need one man brave enough to touch this
To perform as my right hand and mush this
Noise from boys that test (uh-huh)

(kalonji)
Aiyyo danja (whattup 'cause? ) you know the squad thick

Of the nightclub where the open mic night is for them local scrubs
Sneaking through the back will security be hounding
We'll pound them and swiftly snuff out the sound men (true)
Disguised as the engineers, we amp the monitors
And headphones and shatter mc's and dj's ears *breaking glass*
With dexterity bonafide (bonafide); we slide levels up
And blow heads off with audible cyanide
First we hide, then escape creepin (c'mon c'mon c'mon)
Reachin for the keys, we leavin with the tires screechin *peels out*
(danja mowf)
Me and kalonji, gettin camouflage

And take a full page advertisement in the source (yea yea)
To make known to fake clones who got that booty flow
That we're givin free time in our brand new studio (hmmm)
We felt it was our duty though to spread it like a cootie so
We cast the bait and now we catchin more fish than hootie blow
(whaaat? ) rappers came browsin, the studio housin
Checkin out the mpc-3000 and the
Shells of sp-12's (uh-huh); the buttons
Had explosive triggers so them niggaz blew up they damn selves
And on the mic rappers drop clean; "every breath they take"
Inhaling cyanide from off the pop screen
It's not mean they deserve it (why danja? )
Cause they wack, shit

Yo, I'm sitting, in the backdrop
In the beemer, with the blacktop *sounds of a keyboard*
I'm on the case, like matlock
Pushing buttons, of a laptop
To tap into the mainframe computers down at bds and soundscan
Now your billboard rating's going down man!
(kalonji)
I'm a super computer hacker deciding wack rappers fates
Tapping into the booking agencies I'm changing all they tour dates
Somehow they end up in v-a playing the same room
(you push it) nah you push it! (aight)...
