Edwin M. "Eddie" Hayes, Jr., better known by his stage name Aceyalone, is an American rapper from Los Angeles, California, United States. He is a member of Freestyle Fellowship, Haiku D'Etat and The A-Team and a co-founder of Project Blowed. Aceyalone is best known for his role in evolving left-field hip-hop on the West Coast at a time when the West Coast was dominated by Gangsta Rap.
Aceyalone emerged from the legendary Project Blowed collective, considered to be the longest-running open mic hip-hop workshop. He began rapping as part of the group Freestyle Fellowship, which consisted of himself, Myka 9, and Self Jupiter and, later, P.E.A.C.E.. Freestyle Fellowship developed a reputation for influencing a style of fast double-time rap used by rappers like Busta Rhymes and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.
Following the Freestyle Fellowship releases of To Whom It May Concern... and Innercity Griots as well as a Project Blowed compilation in 1994, Aceyalone signed as a solo artist to Capitol Records after Island failed to break the Freestyle Fellowship on mainstream radio.
All Balls Don't Bounce is the first solo album by American rapper Aceyalone. It was released in 1995 on Capitol Records. In 2004, it was re-released on Project Blowed and Decon as All Balls Don't Bounce: Revisited with a bonus disc. It was chosen by OC Weekly as one of the Five Classic West Coast Rap Albums Turning 20 in 2015.
Steve Huey of AllMusic gave the album 5 stars out of 5, describing Aceyalone as "one of the greatest lyricists the West Coast has ever produced, twisting his fluid rhymes around and off the beat with the improvisational assurance of Rakim." He also commented that "[the production] is solid if unspectacular, usually spare and jazzy, with lots of piano/keyboard samples and some fitting nods to the abstract side of hard bop."
Writing for The Austin Chronicle, Rashied Gabriel thought that the album's production and Aceylone's "various styles" worked to complementary effect. He went on to label All Balls Don't Bounce "a sureshot record", and felt that it delivered "verbal calisthenics that astound with fresh insight as well as lyrical wizardry."
Mass Appeal is a two-character play by Bill C. Davis. The comedy-drama focuses on the conflict between a complacent Roman Catholic pastor and the idealistic young deacon who is assigned to his affluent, suburban parish.
Father Tim Farley is highly popular with his parishioners due to his charm, wit, easy-going manner, and entertaining (but unchallenging) sermons. One Sunday, seminarian Mark Dolson interrupts Farley's sermon to challenge his stance on the ordination of women. The pastor is outraged yet intrigued by the young man, and asks to have him assigned to work with him.
Dolson is a firebrand eager to change the Church. He enjoys attacking Farley's "song and dance theology" and questioning why he drinks so much. Dolson feels it's his job to shake parishioners out of their complacency. Farley likes Dolson, but sees that he'll never succeed as a priest if all he does is irritate people and make enemies. Each man has something to teach the other about how to perform his priestly duties.
Aaron Pointer, better known by his stage name Abstract Rude, is a rapper from Los Angeles, California.
He is the MC of Abstract Tribe Unique, alongside dancers Zulu Butterfly and Irie Lion King, turntablist DJ Drez and producer Fat Jack. He is also a member of Haiku D'Etat along with Myka 9 and Aceyalone and The A-Team along with Aceyalone.
Abstract Rude is one of the original spawns of L.A.'s historical Good Life Cafe, a renowned open mic venue. Ab would sharpen steel with steel every Thursday night at the Good Life alongside other veterans like "Freestyle Fellowship", "Funk Trends", "Volume 10", "CVE", and many more. The Good Life was the birthplace of a new West Coast Hip Hop sound that influenced the likes of "Pharcyde", "Skee-Lo", and others in the early 1990s. In 2009, Abstract Rude released the album Rejuvenation on Rhymesayers Entertainment. It is entirely produced by Vitamin D.

Released: March 6, 2001 Producers include: Evidence, Fat Jack, Joey Cahvez For all his lyrical talent, Aceyalone has sometimes been plagued by erratic production, and Accepted Eclectic -- despite a few cheap-sounding drum machines in spots -- takes steps to remedy that situation with a stronger, funkier set of beats. It also backs off the overambitious concept of A Book of Human Language, instead simply letting Aceyalone's winning personality shine through. He's his usual reflective self on the excellent "I Never Knew," about how you have to experience the bad to appreciate the good.

Aceyalone talks about how Rapping and Hip Hop started being introduced gradually in the 80's and eventually found its way to the West Coast
Van$tylez has a penchant for turning a bad situation horribly worse. In this interview Big Bodied Van attempts to snag an interview with West Coast Hip Hop Icon, Aceyalone. A trainwreck from the very first question, Van$tylez does a decent job of salvaging a normally worthless interview with questions relating to illegal drugs and Mohawks. Peep the ending for a surprise appearance from a very special young Aceyalone fan! Remember, you gotta play by the rules man.

It consists of Aceyalone, Myka 9, P.E.A.C.E., and Self Jupiter.[1] They are part of an underground hip hop collective Project Blowed. Freestyle Fellowship was formed at the Good Life Cafe in Los Angeles, California during the early 1990s. In an interview, Myka 9 stated that he knew and grew up with Aceyalone and Self Jupiter since elementary school, and he met P.E.A.C.E. in 10th grade. Before Freestyle Fellowship was formed, Aceyalone, Spoon (of Iodine) and Myka 9 had been in a group called the MC Aces in high school.[3] Freestyle Fellowship released the first album, To Whom It May Concern..., in 1991.[4] Their second album, Innercity Griots, was ...

Amazing Freestyle from Aceyalone of The Freestyle Fellowship
*PD: No sé porqué tengo la man...

Today
Sunday
On the nineteenth day of October at one a.m.
Nineteen ninety seven
I had a vision
No, well not exactly like a vision
No but like a sight
Well not exactly like a sight but more like a dream
Yeah like a daydream
Like two scenes short of a nightmare
Except I wasn't scared
Looking at the lines of these mean mugs
Extremely super beamed up drugged
Induced with extra juice in their jugs
Try'na hold a tight hug
To tonight's pocket rocket
With a flicker of a spark in their eye socket plugs
My shoulders shrugged as to the meaning of this encounter
Trying to find something to read into
What's this going to lead into?
A lesson or just another brother confessing?
Either way he's expressing mind
But I was pressing for time
Now show me some type of sign that your words are divine
But he just stood there
Speechless
Choked up
His talk box all broke up
With no real use of his God giving any more just living
I watch 'em all walk into the flames
