No I don't. I am a small business owner. Service related CO's like consultants, accountants, restaurants with pass thru businesses see no benefit unlike real estate cos, and large corps. Small business owners will continue to get the shaft.

Isn’t the standard deduction doubling as part of the plan? Is the teacher itemized deduction separate from this? If not, why would a teacher have $20k+ in business expenses?

The plan just under doubles the standard ded BUT what they don't tell you is they take away your exemptions (4050) per person on your tax return. The teacher ded is completely separate from itemized deds. They want to take away the student loan interest ded & the list goes on &on
