Garth Ennis (born 16 January 1970) is a Northern Irish-born American comics writer, best known for the Vertigo series Preacher with artist Steve Dillon and his successful nine-year run on Marvel Comics' Punisher franchise. He has collaborated with artists such as Dillon and Glenn Fabry on Preacher, John McCrea on Hitman, and Carlos Ezquerra on both Preacher and Hitman.
Ennis began his comic-writing career in 1989 with the series Troubled Souls. Appearing in the short-lived but critically acclaimed British anthology Crisis and illustrated by McCrea, it told the story of a young, apolitical Protestant man caught up by fate in the violence of the Irish 'Troubles'. It spawned a sequel, For a Few Troubles More, a broad Belfast-based comedy featuring two supporting characters from Troubled Souls, Dougie and Ivor, who would later get their own American comics series, Dicks, from Caliber in 1997, and several follow-ups from Avatar. Ennis was later critical of his writing debut, which he describes as "the kind of thing that was doing well at the time. (...) With hindsight, what Troubled Souls really represented was naked ambition. It was a direct attempt to get published. And that was the road that seemed most likely to lead me to success".
Ennis (/ˈɛ.nɪs/; Irish: Inis, meaning "island") is the county town of Clare in the West of Ireland. On the River Fergus just north of where it enters the Shannon Estuary, it lies north west of Limerick and south of Galway. The town is 19 km (12 mi) from Shannon Airport. The Irish name for the town is short for Inis Cluain Ramh Fhada ("island of the long rowing meadow"). In 2011, Ennis had a population of 25,360, making it the 11th largest town in Ireland.
The name Ennis comes from the Irish word "Inis", meaning "island". This name relates to an island formed between two courses of the River Fergus on which the Franciscan abbey was built. The past of Ennis is greatly associated with the O'Brien family, who were descendants of Brian Boru. In the 12th century, the O'Briens, who were Kings of Thomond, left their seat of power in Limerick and built a royal residence at Clonroad on the then island. In 1240, King Donnchadh O'Brien ordered the construction of an extensive church which he later donated to followers of St. Francis. The centuries which followed bore great activity. The Friars keep was expanded and students came in great flocks to study at the theological college. The Friars, who were free to move about, met the spiritual needs of the local population. It was a religious centre until the Dissolution of the Monasteries.
Sam Catlin is an American television writer and producer. He has worked on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. He has been nominated for a Writers Guild of America (WGA) Award for his work on the series.
Catlin began writing for television in 2005 for the television film The Great New Wonderful. He then became a writer and story editor for the first season of Kidnapped in 2006. He wrote the episode "Stringers". In 2007 he became an executive story editor and writer for the short-lived series Canterbury's Law and wrote the episode "Baggage".
Catlin joined the crew of Breaking Bad in 2009 as a co-producer and writer for the second season. He wrote the second season episodes "Down" and "4 Days Out". The second season writing staff were nominated for the WGA award for best drama series at the February 2010 ceremony for their work on the second season. Catlin was promoted to supervising producer for the third season in 2010. He was promoted again to co-executive producer for the fourth season in 2011.
Seth Aaron Rogen (/ˈroʊɡən/; born April 15, 1982) is a Canadian actor, filmmaker, and comedian.
Rogen began his career performing stand-up comedy during his teenage years, winning the Vancouver Amateur Comedy Contest in 1998. While still living in his native Vancouver, he landed a supporting role in the series Freaks and Geeks. Shortly after he moved to Portland, Oregon for his role, Freaks and Geeks was officially cancelled after one season due to low viewership. Rogen later got a part on the equally short-lived sitcom Undeclared, which also hired him as a staff writer.
After landing his job as a staff writer on the final season of Da Ali G Show, for which Rogen and the other writers received an Emmy Award nomination, Rogen was guided by Judd Apatow toward a film career. Rogen was cast in a major supporting role and credited as a co-producer in Apatow's directorial debut, The 40-Year-Old Virgin. After Rogen received critical praise for his performance, Universal Pictures agreed to cast him as the lead in Apatow's films Knocked Up and Funny People. Rogen co-starred as Steve Wozniak in Universal's Steve Jobs biopic in 2015.

This is my personal Top 10 list of comic books by Garth Ennis. So, don't be upset if your favourite isn't on my list. By the way, it's my third attempt to post this video. The first two videos were terminated due to copyright claims. I used some tracks from old Italo-Westerns by Ennio Moricone which I considered proper. Now, I used tracks from the movies "From Dusk Till Dawn" and "Desperado". Enjoy!

Cassam Looch interviews Dominic Cooper for the new Amazon TV series Preacher based on the comic book by Garth Ennis and artist Steve Dillon and directed by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg. Preacher tells the story of Jesse Custer, a preacher in the small Texas town of Annville. Custer is accidentally possessed by the supernatural creature named Genesis in an incident which killed his entire congregation and flattened his church. Genesis, the product of the unauthorized, unnatural coupling of an angel and a demon, is an infant with no sense of individual will. However, as it is composed of both pure goodness and pure evil, it might have enough power to rival that of God Himself. In other words, Jesse Custer, bonded to Genesis, may have become the most powerful being in the universe. For synd...
