The Incredibles is a 2004 American computer-animated comedy superhero film written and directed by Brad Bird and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It was the sixth film produced by Pixar. The film's title is the name of a family of superheroes who are forced to hide their powers and live a quiet suburban life. Mr. Incredible's desire to help people draws the entire family into a battle with a villain and his killer robot.
Bird, who was Pixar's first outside director, developed the film as an extension of 1960s comic books and spy films from his boyhood and personal family life. He pitched the film to Pixar after the box office disappointment of his first feature, The Iron Giant (1999), and carried over much of its staff to develop The Incredibles. The animation team was tasked with animating an all-human cast, which required creating new technology to animate detailed human anatomy, clothing and realistic skin and hair. Michael Giacchino composed the film's orchestral score.
Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas (promoted theatrically as The Grinch) is a 2000 American film based on the 1957 story of the same name by Dr. Seuss. It was the first Dr. Seuss book to be adapted into a full-length feature film.
Because the film is based on a children's picture book, many additions had to be made to the storyline to bring it up to feature-length, including some information about the backstory of the titular character. Most of the rhymes that were used in the book were also then used in the film, though some of the lines were to some degree changed, and several new rhymes were put in.
The film also borrowed some music and character elements (such as the Grinch's green skin tone) that originated in the 1966 animated TV special How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The film was directed by Ron Howard, produced by Howard and Brian Grazer, and starring Jim Carrey, Jeffrey Tambor, Christine Baranski, Bill Irwin, Molly Shannon, Josh Ryan Evans (in his final theatrical role), and introducing Taylor Momsen as Cindy Lou Who.
Thomas "Tommy" Hilfiger (born March 24, 1951, Elmira, New York, USA) is an American fashion designer best known for founding the lifestyle brand Tommy Hilfiger Corporation in 1985. After starting his career by co-founding a chain of clothing and record stores in upstate New York in the 1970s, he began designing preppy sportswear for his own eponymous menswear line in the 1980s. The company later expanded into women's clothing and various luxury items such as perfumes, and went public in 1992. In 1997 Hilfiger published his first book, titled All American: A Style Book, and he has written several since, including Tommy Hilfiger through Assouline in 2010. Hilfiger's collections are often influenced by the fashion of music subcultures and marketed in connection with the music industry, with celebrities such as American R&B icon Aaliyah in the 1990s. In 2005, contestants in the CBS reality show The Cut competed for a design job with Hilfiger in a similar fashion to The Apprentice. In 2006 Hilfiger sold his company for $1.6 billion to Apax Partners, and it was sold again in 2010 to Phillips-Van Heusen for $3 billion. Hilfiger remains the company’s principal designer, leading the design teams and overseeing the entire creative process. Hilfiger was awarded the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America in 2012.

Plot: One man walks into a party and sees the art on the walls, the books on the shelves, the bold color that the man by the window is wearing. Another man enters the same party at the same instant and sees the chandelier, the way a shadow falls through the back of a chair and casts bars of light onto the floor behind. If asked to describe this same moment in time to a stranger, that stranger would no doubt conclude that these two men were in two completely different places. When in fact, they were in the same place at the very same instant! Perception explores this breach of experience by glancing into the lives of three individuals: Clarissa, Ralph and Tobias. After the typical college experience, Clarissa moved to NYC. She quickly became jaded, and in time, working her job as an Administrative Assistant came to compromise her self-respect. She felt as one of the common many--a "sell out." And she quit. Today, she lives as a homeless person on the streets of New York. Her brother Ralph--a successful real estate salesman--lives on the 20th floor of 59th Street and Central Park South. He both detests and pities Clarissa. Tobias is a waiter and perpetual student. He has taken night classes for close to ten years, but refuses to take what is required to garner a degree. Perception journeys through the same month of time from each character's point of view, detailing how presumption and mistaken intention leads to great misunderstanding. A moment, revisited from another point of view, takes new dimension--and protagonist and antagonist change places. Perception shines a light upon the curtain that isolates us--the fundamental breach in perspective from one individual to the next.
