In musical terminology, tempo [ˈtɛmpo] ("time" in Italian; plural: tempi [ˈtɛmpi]) is the speed or pace of a given piece or subsection thereof.
A piece of music's tempo is typically written at the start of the score, and in modern Western music is usually indicated in beats per minute (BPM). This means that a particular note value (for example, a quarter note, or crotchet) is specified as the beat, and that the amount of time between successive beats is a specified fraction of a minute. The greater the number of beats per minute, the smaller the amount of time between successive beats, and thus faster a piece must be played. For example, a tempo of 60 beats per minute signifies one beat per second, while a tempo of 120 beats per minute is twice as rapid, signifying one beat every 0.5 seconds. Mathematical tempo markings of this kind became increasingly popular during the first half of the 19th century, after the metronome had been invented by Johann Nepomuk Maelzel, although early metronomes were somewhat inconsistent. Beethoven was one of the first composers to use the metronome; in the 1810s he published metronomic indications for the eight symphonies he had composed up to that time. for example a minum has a 2 seconds
Grade may refer to:
Seventh grade (called Grade 7 in some regions, and Year 7 in some other regions such as Australia) is a year of education in many nations. The seventh grade is the seventh school year after kindergarten. Students are usually 12-13 years old. Traditionally, seventh grade was the next-to-last year of grade school. In the United States and Canada, it is usually the second, third, or last year of middle school, the first year of junior high school, or the 7th year of grade school. In Quebec, it is usually the last year of elementary school or the first year of high school.
In the United States, in mathematics, students focus commonly on an introduction to pre-algebra or the beginnings of algebra including ratio, proportion, and percent. New topics sometimes include scientific notation, concepts with negative numbers, and more advanced geometry. In some parts of the United States, such as Texas, Colorado, California and Utah, math may be mixed-grade according to the student's previous knowledge, so some students may already be in a 9th grade algebra course. In social studies, advanced pre-Civil War History is taught. Though American history is usually the norm, other cultures and time periods may be taught. In science, it is usually moderate-level biology. In some parts of the United States, seventh grade is the first school year in which students have different teachers for each of their subjects, and so they change classrooms at the end of each period. Foreign language is often introduced at this level. The students can typically choose from several languages depending on school ability.
Eighth grade is the term used for the year of education in the world. Students are usually 13 – 14 years old at the time they enter eighth grade. The eighth grade is typically the last year for Middle school, and the ninth year of public and private education, following kindergarten and subsequent grades. Similar terms, for example Grade 8, are used in other countries (see below).
Eighth grade is usually the third of three grades or the second of two grades of middle school, or the second of three grades or first of two grades in junior high school, although some systems mark it as the final year of elementary school and some as the second year of high school (in Quebec or parts of Australia for example). In countries like India and Pakistan, Grade 8 is commonly known as Class 8.

Muzio Clementi (1752 - 1832) , an English composer of Italian birth, settle in London in 1774, and established a successful career as a pianist and teacher. His most important composition are his keyboard works, which include about 70 solo sonatas as well as sonatinas and variations. During a continental tour as a solo pianist in the early 1780s, he stayed in Vienna for six months, taking part in a famous piano contest with Mozart. Afterwards, Mozart commented on his "remarkable technique at the keyboard". In 1798 Clementi established a firm in London that not only published music but also manufactured pianos. Clementi's six Sonatas, Op.1 appeared in c1771, during an early period of seven or eight years (c1766 - 74) in which he was studying music and acting as house musician at the Dorse...
Symphony No. 45 in F-sharp minor, known as the "Farewell" Symphony (in German: Abschieds-Symphonie), was composed by Joseph Haydn in 1772. It was written for Haydn's patron, Prince Nikolaus Esterházy, while he, Haydn and the court orchestra were at the Prince's summer palace in Eszterhaza. The stay there had been longer than expected, and most of the musicians had been forced to leave their wives back at home in Eisenstadt, so in the last movement of the symphony, Haydn subtly hinted to his patron that perhaps he might like to allow the musicians to return home: during the final adagio each musician stops playing, snuffs out the candle on his music stand, and leaves in turn, so that at the end, there are just two muted violins left (played by Haydn himself and the concertmaster, Alois L...

Allegro Assai - Muzio Clementi - ABRSM 2017/18 Grade 7 Piano A1 TEACHING NOTES This "Allegro Assai" is an excellent choice for those with smaller hands. Balance between the hands is an aspect easily overlooked in favour of which hand seems to be the busiest. The tune is usually in the RH and the LH alberti bass should always be subservient. As with all classical pieces, articulation is paramount, in particular the "sighs" which round off phrases. A very slight touch of pedal might easy the legato in bar 46. -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "STOP PRESS - Sample Papers for the NEW style ABRSM Music Theory Papers AVAILABLE NOW!!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZX0gKgma2M -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-
