There is a new study that found that people often have very different interpretations of what emojis mean. This inspired us to conduct our own experiment. We went out on the street and we showed people the eggplant emoji, the peach and a couple of others to see what they mean to each person.

I Will Read You Palm and Tell You What it Means
In this video, we'll do a bit of palmistry or what's commonly known as hand reading.
Palmistry is the art of studying the palm of someone's hand with an objective to evaluate their character, personality and in some cases their future. Many people are understandably skeptical, but there are those who swear by it, attesting to how accurate the readings they get are.
The practice dates back thousands of years from India, but is today practiced everywhere.

knobs is a magic finger wizard who makes the best pedal demos on the internet. Experience it here: https://youtu.be/kBjudP59rmM
knobs reached out and asked if I wanted to make something out of the audio from his videos. I said sweet, yes. He sent me 20-30 stems of the audio from his pedal demos. I sliced them up in Ableton, repitched, and re-timed. Then I made a song using only his sounds, some MIDI drums, and some effects.
I took all the corresponding videos for those little audio samples, isolated them, retimed them to match, and made an edit using them. Then I brought that into After Effects and combined it all with public domain footage from Pond 5 and other... stuff.

In today's society we're quick to use the word 'Warrior', but in a lot of Indigenous People's language across Turtle Island, that word is translated into many different definitions. In this video I chose to travel the country to different events and locations to depict our modern day warriors, in everything they do, because all of us are fighting to survive in one way or another. Which brings it back to why in our languages, the definition isn't limited to one.

Jimmy Kimmel
James Christian "Jimmy" Kimmel (born November 13, 1967) is an American television host, producer, writer, comedian, voice actor, musician and radio personality. He is the host and executive producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a late-night talk show that premiered on ABC in 2003. Kimmel also hosted the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards on September 23, 2012.
Prior to hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he was best known as the co-host of Comedy Central's The Man Show and Win Ben Stein's Money. Kimmel has also produced such shows as Crank Yankers, Sports Show with Norm Macdonald, and The Andy Milonakis Show.
Early life
Kimmel was born in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up in the neighborhood of Mill Basin the eldest of three children of Joan (née Iacono), a homemaker, and James John Kimmel, an IBM executive.
He is, and was raised, Catholic, and as a child served as an altar boy. Kimmel's mother is of Italian ancestry; two of his paternal great-great-grandparents were German emigrants, and his family's surname was "Kümmel" several generations back. The family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, when he was nine years old. He graduated from Ed W. Clark High School.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! is an American late-night talk show, created and hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, and broadcast on ABC. The nightly hour-long show made its debut on January 26, 2003, as the first program to air immediately following ABC's coverage of Super Bowl XXXVII. Jimmy Kimmel Live! is produced by Jackhole Productions in association with ABC Studios. Having aired for more than twice as long as either the The Dick Cavett Show (1969–1975) or Politically Incorrect (1997–2002), it is the longest running late-night talk show in ABC's history at 13 years and counting as of 15 February 2016.
For its first ten years, the show aired at either the Midnight or 12:05 AM timeslot before moving to 11:35 pm ET beginning on January 8, 2013 to more directly compete with The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Show with David Letterman while bumping the ABC nightly news program Nightline to 12:35 am ET. Teen Wolf
Teen Wolf is a 1985 American fantasy comedy film directed by Rod Daniel and written by Jeph Loeb and Matthew Weisman. The film stars Michael J. Fox as a high school student who discovers that his family has an unusual pedigree when he finds himself transforming into a werewolf.
Plot
Seventeen-year-old high school student Scott Howard (Michael J. Fox) is sick of being average and wishes he were special. His father, Harold (James Hampton), runs a local hardware store. Scott plays basketball for his high school's team, the Beavers, with a not-so-good win-loss record. The girl of his dreams, Pamela Wells (Lorie Griffin), is dating Mick McAllister (Mark Arnold), a jerk from an opposing high school team, the Dragons. After another of the team's losses, Scott begins to notice strange changes to his body. While at a party, Scott keeps undergoing changes and eventually he returns home, locks himself in the bathroom, and undergoes a complete change and becomes a werewolf, while his father demands that he open the door. He tries to refuse, only to finally give in and find his father has also transformed. Harold never told his son about the condition because "sometimes it skips a generation" and he was hoping it would not happen to Scott. Needing someone else to share his secret, Scott confides his best friend, Stiles Stilinski (Jerry Levine), who accepts Scott's werewolf status. However, Scott inadvertently reveals his transformation to the public at one of his basketball games. After shortly stunning the crowd with The Wolf, Scott goes on to amaze them with his newfound basketball skills.

knobs is a magic finger wizard who makes the best pedal demos on the internet. Experience it here: https://youtu.be/kBjudP59rmM
knobs reached out and asked if I wanted to make something out of the audio from his videos. I said sweet, yes. He sent me 20-30 stems of the audio from his pedal demos. I sliced them up in Ableton, repitched, and re-timed. Then I made a song using only his sounds, some MIDI drums, and some effects.
I took all the corresponding videos for those little audio samples, isolated them, retimed them to match, and made an edit using them. Then I brought that into After Effects and combined it all with public domain footage from Pond 5 and other... stuff.
My partner Brian did some modular video for it too. You can check his stuff out here: https://goo.gl/qhiqQS

In this video I chose to travel the country to different events and locations to depict our modern day warriors, in everything they do, because all of us are fighting to survive in one way or another. Which brings it back to why in our languages, the definition isn't limited to one.
