Friday is a day of the week.
Friday or Fridays may also refer to:
distinguish|broadcast programming}}
A television program is a segment of content intended for broadcast on vision, other than a commercial, trailer, or any other segment of content not serving as attraction for viewership. It may be a single production, or more commonly, a series of related productions (also called a television series).
A television series that is intended to comprise a limited number of episodes may be called a miniseries or serial. Series without a fixed length are usually divided into seasons or series, yearly or semiannual sets of new episodes. While there is no defined length, US industry practice tends to favor longer seasons than those of some other countries.
A one-time broadcast may be called a "special," or particularly in the UK a "special episode." A television film ("made-for-TV movie" or "television movie"), is a film that is initially broadcast on television rather than released in theaters or direct-to-video.
A program can be either recorded, as on video tape, other various electronic media forms, played with an on-demand player or viewed on live television.
Michael Anthony Richards (born July 24, 1949) is an American actor, writer and television producer, widely known for his portrayal of Cosmo Kramer on the television sitcom Seinfeld, for which he received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series three times.
Richards began his career as a stand-up comedian, first entering the national spotlight when he was featured on Billy Crystal's first cable TV special. He went on to become a series regular on ABC's Fridays. Prior to Seinfeld, he made numerous guest appearances on a variety of television shows. His film credits include So I Married an Axe Murderer, Airheads, Young Doctors in Love, Problem Child, Coneheads, UHF, and Trial and Error, one of his few starring roles. During the run of Seinfeld, he made a guest appearance in Mad About You. After Seinfeld, Richards starred in his own sitcom, The Michael Richards Show, which lasted less than one full season.
When Seinfeld ended, Richards returned to stand-up comedy. He incited media furor while performing at the Laugh Factory comedy club in late 2006 after cell phone video was published of him launching into an expletive laced racial tirade primarily directed at a heckling audience member. Subsequent to significant media coverage of the event he announced his retirement from stand-up early in 2007. He appeared as himself in the seventh season of Curb Your Enthusiasm in 2009, acting alongside his fellow cast members for the first time since Seinfeld's finale, as well as parodying his incident at the Laugh Factory.
Melanie Chartoff (born December 15, 1950) is an American actress and voice actress. She first became famous for her comedy work on the ABC series Fridays (1980–82), and in the 1990s Fox sitcom Parker Lewis Can't Lose. She voiced both Didi Pickles and Grandma Minka on the animated series Rugrats.
Chartoff was born on December 15, 1950, in New Haven, Connecticut, and attended West Haven High School. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts from Adelphi University.
She guest starred on ABC Family's Switched at Birth (2015). Her first Broadway appearances were in Galt MacDermot's space opera, Via Galactica(1972), directed by Peter Hall, and The Young Vic's Scapino, starring Jim Dale (1974).
Chartoff's first TV role came in 1976 when she played a nurse on Search For Tomorrow, after which came an appearance in the 1978 motion picture American Hot Wax. She first became a nationally known figure on ABC's Fridays, which was ABC's attempt to create its own version of Saturday Night Live. She immediately stood out on the series, partly thanks to her regular role as the anchor on the show's fake newscasts, but also due to her comedic skills (particularly an impression of Nancy Reagan). On one sketch, she was cold-cocked on live TV when co-star Mary Edith Burrell failed to pull her punch during a skit and chipped a tooth.
Andrew Geoffrey "Andy" Kaufman (January 17, 1949 – May 16, 1984) was an American entertainer, actor, and performance artist. While often referred to as a comedian, Kaufman did not consider himself to be one. He disdained telling jokes and engaging in comedy as it was traditionally understood, referring to himself instead as a "song-and-dance man". Pranks and elaborate ruses were major elements of his career. His body of work maintains a cult following and he continues to be respected for his original material, performance style, and unflinching commitment to character.
Kaufman was born on January 17, 1949 in New York City, the first son of Janice (née Bernstein) and Stanley Kaufman. He grew up in a middle-class Jewish family in Great Neck, Long Island, New York, and began performing at age 9. He attended the now defunct two-year Grahm Junior College in Boston; after graduating in 1971, he began performing stand-up comedy at various small clubs along the East Coast.

I wish ABC would upload stuff like this. I've looked and the other renderings I've seen are even lower quality. But it's the best performance I've seen of this instrumental track from Devo's "New Traditionalist" The next best thing is enabling monetization, so that ABC if they wanted to could claim the revenue w/o asking for a takedown.

with a weapon, if the walls will cease
then I'm all for peace, that's my core belief
so why would I wanna war and beef, I don't need more to eat
so I don't horde the meat, the lure of the streets
is sure to keep, weak motherfuckers trying ta beat
motherfuckers I, seek and disrupt the frame of mind
that's corrupted, skim haters of they grim nature
strugglin' to get paper while they spit vapor.....

famous facists aiming plane crashes
insane clashes, the war of the masses
caskets, cremated to ashes
in this disastrous, world war of the masses
remain passive or aim and blast it
the past is, gone it's the war of the masses

as we checking out of the second millenium
hear the reckoning beckoning
prefects are involved in religious lecturing
infecting in the peoples mind, evil festering
questioning they lessons and they ride on you like
an equestrian, psychotic off anti-biotics
and chemical bi-products the medicals try on us
I promise that every word is a comet
a bom for the congress, who claim to see beyond Nostradamus
you can rely on bibles if you need a guide to
provide you with vital knowledge thats born inside you
my haiku typhoon remind you
false idols blind you, crucify and bind you
why do the mass of us not see cash we lust
half of us need dough but people slash they cut
then pass the crust, most leave little for those after us
from ass and nut to ash and dust

cursed to carry dead weight on our backs like hearsts that bury
[D:] Jerks immersed in the worst affairs we could describe
the impact of lies on earth is scary
business to witness, but Del and Virtch are very
revolutionary
[V:] Immune to any torture tactics
practice to beat the system lilke victims of an abusive family
[D:] Then who can we trust?
[V:] few if any
confusion led me to abuse the henny
but then the music let me see that there was
better ways to use my pennies
[D:] using various options, choosing every concoction
cause losings an illusion I foster
like who is your partner, he doing the cha-cha
I see through it cause I do what I got ta'
[V:] the fluid we author, for your mind shine
lucid to oculars, and magnify the truth like binoculars
