Terrence "Terry" Funk (born June 30, 1944) is a retired American professional wrestler and former actor, known chiefly for the hardcore wrestling style he adopted in the latter part of his career that inspired many younger wrestlers, including Mick Foley. He worked for at least 63 promotions around the world over his 50-year career, including all major American and Japanese promotions.
In major promotions, Funk is a three-time World Champion, having held the NWA World Heavyweight Championship once and ECW World Heavyweight Championship twice. He has been inducted into the WWE, WCW, Professional Wrestling, NWA, Hardcore, Wrestling Observer, and St. Louis Wrestling Halls of Fame.
Funk was a primary subject of the documentary film Beyond the Mat, and is often noted for the longevity of his career, which has included multiple "retirement" matches.

Unscheduled, Funk enters the studio and stops the match in progress by destroying the jobbers in the ring while squealing like a pig which prompts Jimmy Hart and the Nightmares to bail out of the ring and quickly vanish. The man is nuts! Soon, Funk has talked himself into a rage and begins to take it out on Lance Russell and the furniture on set. The bit with a steel chair is priceless. FMW Shiodome Legend 08/01/96 Tokyo Shiodome 3580 Fans (Sold Out) The main event would pit Terry Funk against Mr. Pogo in a Double Hell Death Match, but the match would end up being cut very shortly after Funk would blow fire at Pogo and Pogo would end up being dropped into the exploding barbwire outside of the ring, but when falling into it, the barbwire would end up pushing Pogo's chin and head back, resulting in Mr. Pogo suffering a broken neck. Terry Funk not knowing why Pogo was still down would begin blowing fire at the mobile less Mr. Pogo stuck in the barbwire, resulting the referee to end the match and reward it to Terry Funk via KO. Mr. Pogo would be able make a return to the ring, but the injury would end up causing him to be even more immobile in the ring.
Taken from the now-defunct XPWChannel. This is the best quality video of this match out there, better than the other one currently on YouTube. The main event, and easily one of Onita's best matches.

I will be here when you need me by your side
I will be here once the thrill is gone
I will be here when everything is just right
I will be here after you move on
I'm a rock in the ocean
And you, you are the tide
You know I am going nowhere
I'm just waiting here for the water to rise
I don't know how the story ends
And I don't want to know, so if you do
Don't tell me
Let's pretend we write it as we go
Promises are so hard to keep
We say things we don't mean
