gtmd logoGive to the Max Day is over. Thank you to everyone who supported us. Every year we are blown away by your generosity. Thank you!

If you missed the big day but would still like to help, it's not too late. Even a small donation helps.

While we do have a large team of dedicated, hard-working, volunteers we have programs that require financial support too. For example, our Atheist Talk Radio and our Atheist Outreach Educational programs.

We need to keep fighting for the separation of church and State and reminding our religious friends there's nothing wrong with not believing in a god. This helps provide a safe community for atheists and critical thinkers to come out and participate in dialogue and education. We couldn't do it without you, our supporters, and fellow atheists. Thank you!

Announcing the November Public Meeting of Minnesota Atheists:
Finding a job as an atheist, a panel discussion & networking

The November Public Meeting will be a discussion about finding a job as an atheist. This is a topic that everyone should have their own philosophy on, because even if you are employed, you cannot depend on being at the job you are at indefinitely. If you are retired, please come as well to share your knowledge.

Green Mill - St. Paul
57 Hamline Ave S, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55105

The Halloween decorations are already out of stores and the Xmas ones are up! To celebrate the War on Christmas, some of us atheists will be joining up for some fun, secular, holiday cheer at the Green Mill Restaurant in St. Paul just like we have for several years. We will be meeting in the banquet room.

The Green Mill Restaurant is near Ayd Mill and Grand Ave. in St. Paul (57 South Hamline). Please bring a NEW gift(s) from the list below and join your family of heathens in organizing gift bags for families spending time at Children's Hospital of Minnesota. It would be helpful to let the rest of us know what your gift donation is when you RSVP or in the Comments section so we don't offer too much of one thing and we get a good variety of gifts.

WalktoEndHungerGroupJoin Minnesota Atheists for the Thanksgiving Day Walk to End Hunger! Thursday, November 23 at 7:30 AM - 10 AM

Mall of America - We will meet in front of Barnes & Noble on the first floor.
--
One in five families faces hunger or food insecurity in Minnesota. Join your freethinking friends and Minnesota Atheists on Thanksgiving morning to help build awareness and raise money for hunger relief programs in the Twin Cities.

The Walk to End Hunger is a family-friendly 5K fun walk presented by The Mosaic Company. Since its inception in 2008, the Walk to End Hunger has raised over $1,200,000 to help support hunger relief organizations in the metro area. The event kickoff is at 7:30 am and ends whenever you want to leave (up to 10 am) so you'll have plenty of time left in the day to feast and celebrate Thanksgiving with your family. We had a great time last year and it felt like being with family!
