Added promo labels. The Billboard ad seems to imply "I Wonder" was the plug side. That implication seems to be reinforced by the B side "star" after the matrix number on the "My Whole World" side of the label. Both sides charted on Billboard's Hot 100: #24 — 10 Aug...

And this is allegedly issued eight days after regular copies.

I'm wondering where this release date of January 22 1979 came about? As this was a truly independent release, distributed by the band themselves, I would think that such a rigid date is unlikely.

In many countries, like the UK, this single was released on Jet. However in the US it was released on MCA. Since Midnight Blue was on a Jet/CBS album, it could not be used as a B-Side here in the US.
