Parliament

ANIP is the only university program that offers Australian Commonwealth Parliamentary Internships. Interns are based in the offices of Members of Parliament and Senators and engage with a range of activities that shape national policy-making.

Australia

ANIP internships are available for the ACT Legislative Assembly, Government Departments and Agencies, Embassies and diplomatic missions, national cultural institutions, leading NGOs, industry organisations, think-tanks and policy research centres.

We offer research placements at all levels of policy-making in Australia's capital city, and our internships across the country have reached from the Sydney Opera House to the Papulu Apparr-Kari Aboriginal Corporation of Tenant Creek (NT).

Taiwan

The Taiwan Public Policy Internship Program is a six-week research internship for academic credit. The internship will be with a department or agency in the Taiwanese Government (Republic of China) or private organisation.

The internship program is coordinated by the Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG) through the School of Politics and International Relations, and supported in Taiwan by the National Academy of Civil Service, Taipei. The internship will take place from the end of December - mid February 2017 (with specific dates to be confirmed) in Taipei, Taiwan.
