Receiving recommendations from Twitter

If you use the Twitter for Android or iOS app, you can receive recommendations from us as push notifications when something interesting happens in your network.

Note: If you have followed @MagicRecs, recommendations are no longer shared through Direct Message. These recommendations are delivered via push notification.

To enable push recommendations from the Twitter for iOS app:

  1. In the top menu, tap your profile icon.
  2. Tap Settings and privacy.
  3. Tap Notifications, then tap Push notifications.
  4. Next to Recommendations, drag the slider to turn the feature on.


To enable push recommendations from the Twitter for Android app:

  1. In the top menu, you will either see a navigation menu icon  or your profile icon. Tap whichever icon you have.
  2. Tap Settings and privacy
  3. Tap Notifications, then tap Push notifications.
  4. Next to Recommendations, check the box to turn the feature on.
