This is it folks, the video of all videos showing you some of my favorite activities to do in and around Boise, Idaho. I made this video while campaigning to become Jauntaroo's Chief World Explorer. It was good enough to get me into the CWE Top 50 but not quite good enough to send me to Abu Dhabi. Oh well. It is always fun showing off your hometown and the makings of this video were no exception.

I feel like I been here in Boise, Idaho for a lifetime! It was well worth it though, because I learned a great deal here. This place is a cool town that loves their college football team! Seem to be a quiet working town, but when it is time to party they can go HARD (Boise State game showed me that) lol! There are a lot scenic hiking areas here and a few breathtaking views just outside of Boise as well. They say a lot of people move here just to get away from the crowd and start anew. I must say if you are looking for that then look no further, Boise Idaho is a great place to be (But don't tell anybody I sent you there lol). Till next time BABY! #NoCantFant #Something4ThePeople

Boise (
i/bɔɪsi/) is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. state of Idaho, as well as the county seat of Ada County. Located on the Boise River in southwestern Idaho, the population of Boise at the 2010 Census was 205,671, the 99th largest in the nation. Its estimated population in 2013 was 214,237.
The Boise-Nampa metropolitan area, also known as the Treasure Valley, includes five counties with a combined population of 664,422, the most populous metropolitan area in Idaho. It contains the state's three largest cities; Boise, Nampa, and Meridian. Boise is the third most populous metropolitan area in the United States' Pacific Northwest region, behind Seattle and Portland.
History
Etymology
Accounts differ about the origin of the name. One account credits Capt. B.L.E. Bonneville of the U.S. Army as its source. After trekking for weeks through dry and rough terrain, his exploration party reached an overlook with a view of the Boise River Valley. The place where they stood is called Bonneville Point, located on the Oregon Trail east of the city. According to the story, a French-speaking guide, overwhelmed by the sight of the verdant river, yelled "Les bois! Les bois!" ("The wood! The wood!")—and the name stuck.

Idaho
Idaho (i/ˈaɪdəhoʊ/) is a state in the northwestern region of the United States. Idaho is the 14th largest, the 39th most populous, and the 7th least densely populated of the 50 United States. The state's largest city and capital is Boise. Residents are called "Idahoans". Idaho was admitted to the Union on July 3, 1890, as the 43rd state.
Idaho is a mountainous state with an area larger than that of all of New England. It borders the US states of Montana to the northeast, Wyoming to the east, Nevada and Utah to the south, and Washington and Oregon to the west. To the north, it shares a 45 mi (72 km) international border with the Canadian province of British Columbia, the shortest such land border of any state. The network of dams and locks on the Columbia River and Snake River make the city of Lewiston the farthest inland seaport on the Pacific coast of the contiguous United States.
Idaho's nickname is the "Gem State", because nearly every known type of gemstone has been found there. In addition, Idaho is one of only two places in the world where star garnets can be found in any significant quantities, the other being India. Idaho is sometimes called the "Potato State" owing to its popular and widely distributed crop. The state motto is Esto Perpetua (Latin for "Let it be forever" or "Let it endure forever").

MY EXPERIENCE IN BOISE IDAHO!
State #4 I feel like I been here in Boise, Idaho for a lifetime! It was well worth it though, because I learned a great deal here. This place is a cool town that loves their college football team! Seem to be a quiet working town, but when it is time to party they can go HARD (Boise State game showed me that) lol! There are a lot scenic hiking areas here and a few breathtaking views just outside of Boise as well. They say a lot of people move here just to get away from the crowd and start anew. I must say if you are looking for that then look no further, Boise Idaho is a great place to be (But don't tell anybody I sent you there lol). Seem to be a quiet working town, but when it is time to party they can go HARD (Boise State game showed me that) lol! There are a lot scenic hiking areas here and a few breathtaking views just outside of Boise as well. They say a lot of people move here just to get away from the crowd and start anew. Rockies Diner’s Johnny B Goode Burger Challenge ($27):
The main entree includes 3 burger patties, 1 hot dog, pastrami, chili, cheese, onions, loads of lettuce, and tomatoes. Everything is served on a big plate with the top and bottom buns as well, and then topped with multiple ladles of chili. The patties are each 1/4 pound and Rockies uses both Swiss and American cheeses.The challenge includes a ~3 pound plate of chili cheese fries and also a large 16 ounce milkshake. Challenges have a 30 minute time limit to finish everything. Winners receive the meal free, a sweet t-shirt, a spot on the Wall of Fame, and also a Fender electric guitar valued around $150!! This challenge was featured on Man v. Food: Boise!!

TABLE ROCK be sure to go to table rock at sunset for the best view of the city and to take some bomb pics. there is actually a hike that you can take up there but i have never actually done it. it's probs super rewarding though. 2. GURU DONUTS being the donut junkie i am i can fully testify guru donuts are the best you will have. they are made with whole ingredients and are so so so good. my 2 favs are the girl scout and campfire. 3. THE TRAIN DEPOT the train depot best view of downtown and if there isn't an event (most likely a wedding) going on, the inside is pretty cool too. 4. EVEN STEVENS even stevens shares a wall with freak alley; an outside graffiti art exhibit. i have never had something i didn't like and they serve breakfast all day. the building itself screams boise and...

be sure to go to table rock at sunset for the best view of the city and to take some bomb pics. there is actually a hike that you can take up there but i have never actually done it. it's probs super rewarding though.
2. GURU DONUTS
being the donut junkie i am i can fully testify guru donuts are the best you will have. they are made with whole ingredients and are so so so good. my 2 favs are the girl scout and campfire.
3. THE TRAIN DEPOT
the train depot best view of downtown and if there isn't an event (most likely a wedding) going on, the inside is pretty cool too.
4. EVEN STEVENS
even stevens shares a wall with freak alley; an outside graffiti art exhibit. i have never had something i didn't like and they serve breakfast all day. the building itself screams boise and i love it a lot.
5. JUMP
stands for jacks urban meeting place. it is this building that is still in the works but you can take tons of classes on food, music, art etc. they also have a cool lobby area that you can come and go as you please, eat lunch, play games or hang out. also we stole hot chocolate and i'm assuming its complimentary.
6. GOODY'S
goody's has the best treats ever. they are located in hyde park. all of their sundaes, floats and drinks are TO DIE FOR. they also have a big candy and fudge selection.
7. THE CAPITOL
of course being the capital, the capitol building has to be included. it's one of my favorite spots in town and i'm honestly not sure why.

It's like a "choose your own adventure" for fries:

Gowen Thunder Air Show - Boise, Idaho
The Idaho Air National Guard and Army National Guard hosted a roaring air and ground show at Boise's Gowen Field the weekend of 14-15 October 2017. The airport serves the Guard as well as commercial aviation. This special extended length video was made on Saturday, 14 October. A cold snap put frost on the ground and in the mountains forming a majestic backdrop. Both the Canadian Snowbirds jet team and the USAF Thunderbirds performed. A combined arms demonstration featured everything from an F-15, A-10s, UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters, and tanks in rapid action. The nearby Warhawk Air Museum brought their P-51C and two P-40s; Mark Peterson flew his P-51D. Greg Colyer demonstrated his classic T-33 Shooting Star. The Idaho Air National Guard and Army National Guard hosted a roaring air and ground show at Boise's Gowen Field the weekend of 14-15 October 2017. The airport serves the Guard as well as commercial aviation. This special extended length video was made on Saturday, 14 October. A cold snap put frost on the ground and in the mountains forming a majestic backdrop. Both the Canadian Snowbirds jet team and the USAF Thunderbirds performed. A combined arms demonstration featured everything from an F-15, A-10s, UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters, and tanks in rapid action. The nearby Warhawk Air Museum brought their P-51C and two P-40s; Mark Peterson flew his P-51D. Greg Colyer demonstrated his classic T-33 Shooting Star. Watch for a heritage formation featuring an A-1 Skyraider and two Idaho Air National Guard A-10s. Brad Wursten flew an aerobatic demonstration and Dan Buchanan's hang glider with streamers was a graceful counterpoint. We sprinkled in some slow-motion video to appreciate these fast-movers. We preserved ambient aircraft sounds where possible, and used music where appropriate and necessary.
