Das Keyboard
Das Keyboard is a series of computer keyboards sold by Metadot Corporation, an open-source software company located in Austin, Texas. Some models feature blank keycaps, supposedly to help improve touch typing skills and eliminate the need to rearrange keys for alternative keyboard layouts. Labeled versions have also been available since 2008. The current iterations employ mechanical keyswitches manufactured by either Cherry or Greetech.
Das Keyboard products
There have been multiple generations of Das Keyboard:
The first iteration, released in 2005, did not feature mechanical keyswitches, but in addition to the blank keycaps, it featured a Model-M-inspired design, and individually weighted keypresses, because some keys are pressed with less force than other keys.
The third iteration in 2008 was the first to be offered in both Ultimate (unlabeled) and Professional (labeled) versions. This USB-only keyboard also offered six-key rollover capability (the maximum for a conventional USB HID keyboard), an internal two-port USB hub and came with a glossy surface. Both 104-key (ANSI) and 105-key layouts (ISO) were offered. This version was not without its problems, however, as it became known that key transposition errors could occur at high typing speeds. In addition, interoperability issues related to the USB hub and lack of power were noticed with some systems.

Red Bull
Red Bull is an energy drink sold by Austrian company Red Bull GmbH, created in 1987. In terms of market share, Red Bull is the highest-selling energy drink in the world, with 5.387 billion cans sold in 2013.
Austrian entrepreneur Dietrich Mateschitz was inspired by an existing energy drink named Krating Daeng, which was first invented and sold in Thailand. He took this idea, modified the ingredients to suit the tastes of Westerners, and, in partnership with Chaleo Yoovidhya, founded Red Bull GmbH in 1987 in Chakkapong, Thailand. In Thai, daeng means red, and krating is the large bovine called "gaur". Red Bull is sold in a tall and slim blue-silver can, while Krating Daeng is in a gold shorter can. The two are different products, produced separately.
The Red Bull company slogan is "Red Bull gives you wings", and the product is marketed through advertising, events (Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series, Red Bull Air Race, Red Bull Crashed Ice), sports team ownerships (RB Leipzig, FC Red Bull Salzburg, Red Bull Brasil, New York Red Bulls, Red Bull Racing, Scuderia Toro Rosso), celebrity endorsements, and music, through its record label Red Bull Records.

In computing, a file shortcut is a handle in a user interface that allows the user to find a file or resource located in a different directory or folder from the place where the shortcut is located.
Shortcuts are typically implemented as a small file containing a target URI or GUID to an object, or the name of a target program file that the shortcut represents. The shortcut might additionally specify parameters to be passed to the target program when it is run. Each shortcut can have its own icon. Shortcuts are very commonly placed on a desktop, in an application launcher panel such as the Microsoft Windows Start menu, or in the main menu of a desktop environment. The functional equivalent in the Macintosh operating system is called an alias, and a symbolic link (or symlink) in UNIX-like systems.

File shortcuts (also known as shell links) were introduced in Windows 95.Microsoft Windows uses .lnk as the filename extension for shortcuts to local files, and .URL for shortcuts to remote files, like web pages. Commonly referred to as "shortcuts" or "link files", both are displayed with a curled arrow overlay icon by default, and no filename extension. (The extension remains hidden in Windows Explorer even when "Hide extensions for known file types" is unchecked in File Type options, because it is controlled by the NeverShowExt option in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile in the Registry. The IsShortcut option causes the arrow to be displayed.) Shortcut files can be used to launch programs in minimized or maximized window states if the program supports it.

Macbook Air Keyboard Replacement Guide (A1369/A1466)
A guide to replacing the Macbook Air with a new keyboard and backlight. This is a fairly difficult process, involving completely dismantling the laptop, including removing the logic board and screen assembly. The old keyboard is destroyed in the process, so make sure you have a replacement purchased and ready. This video features an 'A1369' Sandy Bridge generation MacBook Air, but the same process applies to other models with minor variations. This systems keyboard had suffered water damage to the keyboard, and after replacement worked perfectly.

macbook 2010 2011 keyboard replacement (Nothing left out)
Here we have to remove the motherboard from the Macbook 2010/2011 and replace the keyboard. There are a ton of screws in the way between you and success but not much else! Be sure to replace the black cover on the back of the keys (your backlight) as it can be easy to forget.

Even after being put back some of the keys didn't work. A few of them made two keys register on screen. For instance pressing j made j and h appear on screen. I usually see this in the case of water damage. With it being a 2 year old there was probably a lot of saliva involved which is a liquid. I replaced the keyboard. How to remove and clean Macbook Pro keyboard keys
(EXPAND FOR MORE DETAILS) This video is long: I wanted to show the entire process up close. It goes through each type of key, including the mechanism on the insides of those keys. (I didn't do the Shift key, but that's because I had previously found that it was extremely similar to Cmd, albeit a little wider. Check out the Cmd and Space keys and you should understand what you're doing with it.) This is a Macbook Pro with Retina from 2012. This is a fairly difficult process, involving completely dismantling the laptop, including removing the logic board and screen assembly. The old keyboard is destroyed in the process, so make sure you have a replacement purchased and ready.

A 2 year old pulled off all the keys from the laptop's keyboard. Even after being put back some of the keys didn't work. A few of them made two keys register on screen. For instance pressing j made j and h appear on screen. I usually see this in the case of water damage. With it being a 2 year old there was probably a lot of saliva involved which is a liquid. I replaced the keyboard.

(EXPAND FOR MORE DETAILS) This video is long: I wanted to show the entire process up close. It goes through each type of key, including the mechanism on the insides of those keys. (I didn't do the Shift key, but that's because I had previously found that it was extremely similar to Cmd, albeit a little wider. Check out the Cmd and Space keys and you should understand what you're doing with it.)
This is a Macbook Pro with Retina from 2012. The key mechanisms across models sometimes vary a little, but the idea is typically the same, with two interlocking white pieces that fold together.
If you have a Macbook Pro from the 2010 era, it looks like the white plastic insides will attach with their pegs on the left instead of the bottom. The 2012's two metal catches on the top (see around 3:24 of the video) are instead a 2010's single wide catch on the right. If you have such a model, you should easily see what I mean. I used a toothpick in my video to knock the white pegs out of their catches, but in a 2010's keyboard, you can't do it quite that way. Instead, you should squeeze the left side of the white plastic to compress it enough to allow you to duck the pegs out of their holes. Concerning the disassembly of the two white interlocking pieces: the pegs will fit together slightly differently, but many of the important facts are the same: flat smooth surfaces face upward, bumped and textured surfaces face down; there's only one correct way for the two white pieces to connect and still be able to lay flat; they will hinge at the center, and all peg-like shapes should be on the left; the inner white plastic piece should hinge such that it raises up (as opposed to down) when it's oriented correctly. To get the plastic hooked back into the keyboard frame: Hook the key into the metal catch on the right-hand side first, and then you'll have to struggle to get the left-hand side's pegs into their holes. I seemed to have my best luck with doing the right-hand catch, then the bottom peg, then the top peg.
I spilled copious amounts of root beer onto my Macbook Pro Retina keyboard, and after salvaging the internal hardware itself, I documented my attempt to clean the keys, which stuck extremely hard after 2 days had passed. I thought this would be a beneficial video for others to see.
Things to note, not explicitly covered in the video:
• You can probably have some luck pulling the main keys off FROM THE BOTTOM first, but alternatively, many people suggest doing it as I did in the video, from the top left.
• The TAB, CAPSLOCK, and SHIFT keys have metal bars in them, like CMD and SPACE, but while CMD and SPACE have two bars, the others have only one, which should rest on the bottom half of the key's area.
• CAPSLOCK has a light in it, but don't be afraid about breaking it if you pull the key off. It works exactly like the others of its approximate size. The light is a little tiny volcano shape with black molding around it for protection.
• I haven't pulled out the RETURN/ENTER key, but I did pry it up a little to try to tell what kind of mechanism it is. It looked to me to be exactly like the TAB key, with a metal bar along the bottom and a wide plastic hinge.

Some extra notes, several months after the video upload:
If you have liquid damage on your laptop, even if it ends up still working (like mine), your warranty will be voided, regardless of any Apple Care policy you may have purchased. If the laptop truly is lost to the damage, your best option (short of outright buying a new computer) is to take it to an Apple Store where they can offer to basically refurbish it and send it back to you. They basically rip open the computer and replace the internal parts, such as the entire motherboard. Especially with the MBP Retina, where all the pieces are not individually serviceable, this means they'll replaced everything.
For my 15" MBP Retina, the cost was approximately $1100. You'll have to decide if its worth it. You shouldn't consider the option unless the computer just flat out doesn't work or is unusable. The Apple employees themselves won't encourage you to use this service unless it's really your only option. If you do need to have the computer stripped and replaced, it should come back like a new machine.

If you have liquid damage on your laptop, even if it ends up still working (like mine), your warranty will be voided, regardless of any Apple Care policy you may have purchased. If the laptop truly is lost to the damage, your best option (short of outright buying a new computer) is to take it to an Apple Store where they can offer to basically refurbish it and send it back to you. They basically rip open the computer and replace the internal parts, such as the entire motherboard. Especially with the MBP Retina, where all the pieces are not individually serviceable, this means they'll replaced everything.
For my 15" MBP Retina, the cost was approximately $1100. You'll have to decide if its worth it. You shouldn't consider the option unless the computer just flat out doesn't work or is unusable. The Apple employees themselves won't encourage you to use this service unless it's really your only option. If you do need to have the computer stripped and replaced, it should come back like a new machine.
