A part number (often abbreviated PN, P/N, part no., or part #) is an identifier of a particular part design used in a particular industry. Its purpose is to simplify reference to that part. A part number unambiguously identifies a part design within a single corporation, and sometimes across several corporations.
For example, when specifying a screw, it is easier to refer to "HSC0424PP" than saying "Hardware, screw, machine, 4-40, 3/4" long, panhead, Phillips". In this example, "HSC0424PP" is the part number, and it may be prefixed in database fields as "PN HSC0424PP" or "P/N HSC0424PP".
As a part number is an identifier of a part design (independent of its instantiations), a serial number is a unique identifier of a particular instantiation of that part design. In other words, a part number identifies any particular (physical) part as being made to that one unique design; a serial number, when used, identifies a particular (physical) part (one physical instance), as differentiated from the next unit that was stamped, machined, or extruded right after it. This distinction is not always clear, as natural language blurs it by typically referring to both part designs, and particular instantiations of those designs, by the same word, "part(s)". Thus if you buy a muffler of P/N 12345 today, and another muffler of P/N 12345 next Tuesday, you have bought "two copies of the same part", or "two parts", depending on the sense implied.
An imaginary number is a complex number that can be written as a real number multiplied by the imaginary unit i, which is defined by its property i2 = −1. The square of an imaginary number bi is −b2. For example, 5i is an imaginary number, and its square is −25. Except for 0 (which is both real and imaginary), imaginary numbers produce negative real numbers when squared.
An imaginary number bi can be added to a real number a to form a complex number of the form a + bi, where the real numbers a and b are called, respectively, the real part and the imaginary part of the complex number. Imaginary numbers can therefore be thought of as complex numbers whose real part is zero. The name "imaginary number" was coined in the 17th century as a derogatory term, as such numbers were regarded by some as fictitious or useless. The term "imaginary number" now means simply a complex number with a real part equal to 0, that is, a number of the form bi.
Some authors use the term pure imaginary number to denote what is called here an imaginary number, and imaginary number to denote any complex number that is not real (i.e. has non-zero imaginary part).
A number is a mathematical object used to count, measure, and label. The original examples are the natural numbers 1, 2, 3, and so forth. A notational symbol that represents a number is called a numeral. In addition to their use in counting and measuring, numerals are often used for labels (as with telephone numbers), for ordering (as with serial numbers), and for codes (as with ISBNs). In common usage, the term number may refer to a symbol, a word, or a mathematical abstraction.
In mathematics, the notion of number has been extended over the centuries to include 0, negative numbers, rational numbers such as and , real numbers such as and , complex numbers, which extend the real numbers by including , and sometimes additional objects. Calculations with numbers are done with arithmetical operations, the most familiar being addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and exponentiation. Their study or usage is called arithmetic. The same term may also refer to number theory, the study of the properties of the natural numbers.
A voter ID law is a law that requires a person to have some form of identification to vote or receive a ballot for an election. In most jurisdictions, voters must present an ID, usually a photo ID. Because of perceptions of a differing ability to obtain identification on the basis of socioeconomic status, age, or race, some people in the United States and Canada consider them controversial.
In Brazil voting is compulsory to all citizens between 18 and 70 years old. To vote, all citizens must:
Since 2006 the Brazilian Electoral Justice is re-registering voters with biometric identification. In the 2014 elections more than 22 million voters out of 141 million will be identified by fingerprints.
In Canada, the Federal government mails an Elections Canada registration confirmation card, which the voter takes to the polling station. The card tells the individual where and when to vote. Voters must prove their identity and address with one of three options:
An identity document (also called a piece of identification or ID, or colloquially as papers) is any document which may be used to identify a person or verify aspects of a person's personal identity. If issued in a small, standard credit card size form, it is usually called an identity card (IC or ID card). Some countries issue formal identity documents, while others may require identity verification using informal documents. When the identity document incorporates a person's photograph, it may be called photo ID.
In the absence of a formal identity document, a driver's license may be accepted in many countries for identity verification. Some countries do not accept driver's licenses for identification, often because in those countries they do not expire as documents and can be old or easily forged. Most countries accept passports as a form of identification.
Some countries require foreigners to have a passport or occasionally a national identity card from their country available at any time if they do not have a residence permit in the country.

Wow, it's been a struggle trying to get a hold of one of these Battery Grips for the Canon EOS 550D a.k.a. T2i. This is the OEM Canon BG-E8 part number which I could not find in stock on Amazon, Adorama, B&H; Photo Video. I have more information about this grip on my blog @ http://www.cheesycam.com
This is an R&D; setup of thick caramel simulation I made: Software: Realflow, Maya, Mental ray Peak part number at frame 200: 100k Render time: 5 mins / frame Sim time: Average 1 min / frame
After seing a few videos shot using an indie slider I decided I wanted one. Rather than run up the credit card, my father bought the main parts from www.igus.co.uk, and made his own indie slider! The part numbers for the indieslider are: WS-16-60 Drylin 'W' rail 1000mm WW-16-60-10 Drylin 'W' carriage You might need to drill and tap a hole or two depending on your requirements. How to make it. http://vimeo.com/8660197 Then bolt your tripod head to the carriage, put a nut and bolt either end of the rail to stop the carriage flying off. We attached the rail to a tripod and that's about it. If you download the orginal mp4 file you'll notice that the video is a lot smoother. If we had of turned off the picture stabilizer it might of been smoother still. Filmed on a Sony EX1, and 36" in...

So here it is. Go ahead and build it too. But before you go on the internet and buy all the bricks you don't have, let me tell you, that this dolly is not the best dolly ever. it is not totally precice and it may not carry the heaviest cameras and lenses. But it comes quite handy for many tasks. You may download the source video as it comes in full HD and that makes it maybe easier to follow the steps. I figured you should hit the pause button from time to time as well... It was a hard time finding all the part-numbers. And I'd like to share the part list also here in the description box, so you can copy and paste it. Hopefully I counted well and every number is right. Anyways, in the picture with all the parts, these really are ALL the parts. So this is a definite reference. List: Nr....
The lock knob on my microphone handle is stripped and the microphone handle won't lock down tight. I took the handle apart to make sure just the lock knob was stripped and not the threaded hole. Once I had it apart, I sanded the "pressure plate" to improve the friction without having to tighten the knob so tight. You don't have to take it apart to sand the pressure plate, but I wanted to see how this handle is made. The part is a Knob HN Lock, part number 428419001, and sells for $43.00 US. Sony is making arrangements to replace this part under warranty. I found this interesting, I hope you do too.

Check out the Mighty Car Mods side of the story here: https://youtu.be/NoBnwKu5g5U This is the episode fans of Roadkill and Mighty Car Mods have been demanding for two years! It’s also a bonus episode of Roadkill powered by Dodge—the 13th installment of the 2016 season! David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan finally got together with Marty and Moog of Mighty Car Mods, Australia’s most popular YouTube show for gearheads. The four guys came to an agreement: RK would build the most American car possible for the MCM blokes, and then Marty and Moog would assemble an absurd icon of Mighty Modding for the Roadkill boys. Both teams gave all: Roadkill jammed together a 1969 Chevy Impala stuffed with the supercharged, 489ci big-block Chevy that was formerly in the Crusher Camaro; and Mighty Car Mods ha...

Roadkill is powered by Dodge, but on this episode, the world’s most revered rust bucket gets powered by a used Ford 5.0L Mustang V-8 with a Power Stroke diesel turbo! Our old 1971 Datsun 240Z earned its fame with a junkyard turbo on a Chevy 4.3L, but that V-6 finally failed us for the last time and we kicked it to the curb because the crankshaft broke in two during the 24 Hours of LeMons race on Episode 42. We heard Ford 5.0L V-8 blocks break in half at 500 hp, and what better vehicle to test that theory than the Rotsun? We scored a beat-up Fox-body Mustang for $1,500 and threw the engine and trans into the Rotsun, along with the ol’ used turbo that was made for a Ford Power Stroke diesel truck. But the big question is: Will the Rotsun finally fail to fail? Find out on this episode of Road...

In this episode of Roadkill powered by Dodge, it’s a legit shootout of the performance potential of two hot project cars: the legendary Rotsun 1971 Datsun 240Z that was stuffed with a Ford 5.0L and a Power Stroke turbodiesel on Episode 64, and the 1969 Chevy Impala that’s loaded with the 489ci, supercharged big-block Chevy that used to be in Hot Rod magazine’s Crusher Camaro. Mike Finnegan sides with the Rotsun and David Freiburger bonds with the Impala as each guy heads separately to the chassis dyno to discover power numbers that remain a secret to the other host. Next, there’s a 500-mile road trip to Tucson Dragway for a heads-up showdown. Will the Impala run as quickly as it looks? Will the Rotsun fail to fail for two episodes in a row?
