In the United States, a Cornish game hen, also sometimes called a Cornish hen, poussin, Rock Cornish hen, or simply Rock Cornish, is a hybrid chicken sold whole. Despite the name, it is not a game bird. Rather, it is a broiler chicken, the most common strain of commercially raised meat chickens. Though the bird is called a "hen", it can be either male or female. A cornish hen typically commands a higher price per pound than typically sold chickens, despite a shorter growing span of 28 to 30 days, as opposed to 42 or more for regular chicken.
The Rock Cornish game hen or Rock Cornish hen is a cross between the Cornish Game and White Plymouth Rock chicken breeds. This breed develops a large breast over a short period of time compared to game hens. Rock Cornish game hens weigh about 2.5 pounds (1.1 kilograms) after four to six weeks, at which time they are slaughtered.
The United States Department of Agriculture describes the Rock Cornish game hen or Cornish game hen as "a young immature chicken (less than five weeks of age), weighing not more than two pounds ready-to-cook weight, which was prepared from a Cornish chicken or the progeny of a Cornish chicken crossed with another breed of chicken."
The ketogenic diet is a high-fat, adequate-protein, low-carbohydrate diet that in medicine is used primarily to treat difficult-to-control (refractory) epilepsy in children. The diet forces the body to burn fats rather than carbohydrates. Normally, the carbohydrates contained in food are converted into glucose, which is then transported around the body and is particularly important in fueling brain-function. However, if there is very little carbohydrate in the diet, the liver converts fat into fatty acids and ketone bodies. The ketone bodies pass into the brain and replace glucose as an energy source. An elevated level of ketone bodies in the blood, a state known as ketosis, leads to a reduction in the frequency of epileptic seizures.
The original therapeutic diet for paediatric epilepsy provides just enough protein for body growth and repair, and sufficient calories to maintain the correct weight for age and height. This classic ketogenic diet contains a 4:1 ratio by weight of fat to combined protein and carbohydrate. This is achieved by excluding high-carbohydrate foods such as starchy fruits and vegetables, bread, pasta, grains and sugar, while increasing the consumption of foods high in fat such as nuts, cream and butter.
An energy drink is a type of beverage containing stimulant drugs, chiefly caffeine, which is marketed as providing mental and physical stimulation. They may or may not be carbonated and many also contain sugar or other sweeteners, herbal extracts and amino acids. They are a subset of the larger group of energy products, which includes bars and gels, and distinct from sports drinks, which are advertised to enhance sports performance. There are many brands and varieties of energy drinks.
Coffee, tea and other naturally caffeinated beverages are usually not considered energy drinks. Other soft drinks such as cola may contain caffeine, but are also not energy drinks. Some alcoholic beverages, such as Buckfast Tonic Wine, contain caffeine and other stimulants. According to the Mayo Clinic, it is safe for the typical healthy adult to consume a total of 400 mg of caffeine a day. This has been confirmend by a panel of the European Food Safety Authority (ESFA), which also concludes that a caffeine intake of up to 400 mg per day does not raise safety concerns for adults. According to the ESFA this is equivalent to 4 cups of coffee (90 mg each) or 5 standard cans (250 ml) of energy drink (80 mg each).

2015 was a difficult year for me. My band had broken up, the girl I loved had left and didnt have a job. I was in a pretty bad depression and suffering from anxiety attacks. I had given up writing songs and moved awat from everyone I knew, to another city. I was living by the Atlantic ocean on the west coast of Ireland and was heart broken. As most of you know fasted cardio targets hard to get fat storages in our bodies. We also know that HIIT training is great for burning fat and getting a great exercise in less time than steady state cardio. I don't have much time to get my cardio in so I've been wanting to utilize waking up early and doing fasted cardio mixed with HIIT training. This is the first time I've tried fasted cardio while being on Keto. It was a good experience but I would not want to make it a daily routine. I have found that fasting is the best way on the Ketogenic Diet to lose weight quickly for me. However, I noticed muscle and strength loss. So I have decided to try out fasted cardio. I tried the 6 flavors the gym had to offer and I did not care for the Peach Mango but all the others tasted great. We started at Blood Glucose 87 mg/dL and Blood Ketones 1.2 mmol/L. I fasted for at least 10 hours before I took the test. I took 15 to 20 minutes to drink the full drink. Thirty minutes after I finished the drink my levels were 83 mg/dL and Blood Ketones 0.9 mmol/L. One hour after finishing the drink my levels were 83 mg/dL and Blood Ketones 1.2 mmol/L. This is a good thing. After an hour it basically had no negative effect.
