UNDP in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina signed a Memorandum of Understanding aiming to provide framework for formalization and strengthening cooperation.
Steps that need to be taken in order to make Bosnia and Herzegovina mine free by 2025 were in the focus of the Board of Donors Meeting held on the 13th of November 2017 by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Demining Commission in BiH and the Bosnia and Herzegovina Mine Action Center (BHMAC), in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Within the UNDP Vrbas project, funded by the GEF, the Law on Water of Republika Srpska is aligned with the EU Floods Directive, which defines the method of flood risk assessment and management in order to reduce the harmful effects that floods pose to humans, economic activity and the environment.
