Motion capture

Motion capture (Mo-cap for short) is the process of recording the movement of objects or people. It is used in military, entertainment, sports, medical applications, and for validation of computer vision and robotics. In filmmaking and video game development, it refers to recording actions of human actors, and using that information to animate digital character models in 2D or 3D computer animation. When it includes face and fingers or captures subtle expressions, it is often referred to as performance capture. In many fields, motion capture is sometimes called motion tracking, but in filmmaking and games, motion tracking usually refers more to match moving.

Ganesha

Ganesha (/ɡəˈneɪʃə/; Sanskrit: गणेश, Gaṇeśa; listen ), also known as Ganapati and Vinayaka, is one of the best-known and most worshipped deities in the Hindu pantheon. His image is found throughout India, Sri Lanka and Nepal.Hindu sects worship him regardless of affiliations. Devotion to Ganesha is widely diffused and extends to Jains and Buddhists.

Although he is known by many attributes, Ganesha's elephant head makes him easy to identify. Ganesha is widely revered as the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences and the deva of intellect and wisdom. As the god of beginnings, he is honoured at the start of rituals and ceremonies. Ganesha is also invoked as patron of letters and learning during writing sessions. Several texts relate mythological anecdotes associated with his birth and exploits and explain his distinct iconography.

Ganesha emerged as a distinct deity in the 4th and 5th centuries CE, during the Gupta Period, although he inherited traits from Vedic and pre-Vedic precursors. He was formally included among the five primary deities of Smartism (a Hindu denomination) in the 9th century. A sect of devotees called the Ganapatya arose, who identified Ganesha as the supreme deity. The principal scriptures dedicated to Ganesha are the Ganesha Purana, the Mudgala Purana, and the Ganapati Atharvashirsa.

Akanksha Puri

Akanksha Puri is an Indian model, and film actress, known for her works in Tamil cinema, and Bollywood. She made her bollywood debut with Madhur Bhandarkar's 2015 drama film Calendar Girls.

Early life and background

Puri hails from Madhya Pradesh and has done her schooling from a convent in Bhopal. Her father, R.K Puri, a retired police officer and her mother Chitra Puri.

Mystery meat navigation

Mystery meat navigation (also known as MMN) is a disparaging term coined in 1998 by Vincent Flanders, author and designer of the website Web Pages That Suck, to describe a web page where the destination of the link is not visible until the user points their cursor at it. Such interfaces lack a user-centered design, emphasizing aesthetic appearance, white space, and the concealment of relevant information over basic practicality and functionality.

The epithet "mystery meat" refers to the meat products often served in American public school cafeterias whose forms have been so thoroughly reprocessed that their exact types can no longer be identified by their appearances: like them, the methods of MMN are clear to the producer but baffling to the consumer.

Flanders originally and temporarily described the phenomenon as Saturnic navigation in reference to the Saturn Corporation, whose company website epitomized this phenomenon. Flanders writes, "The typical form of MMN is represented by menus composed of unrevealing icons that are replaced with explicative text only when the mouse cursor hovers over them".

Television in India

Television in India is a huge industry which has thousands of programmes in many languages. The small screen has produced numerous celebrities, of whom, a few attain national fame, and go on to become members of the two houses, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. More than half of all Indian households own a television. As of 2012, the country has a collection of over 823 channels of which 184 are pay channels.

History Terrestrial television in India started with the experimental telecast starting in Delhi on 15 September 1959 (official launch date) with a small transmitter and a makeshift studio. The regular daily transmission started in 1965 as a part of All India Radio. The television service was extended to Bombay and Amritsar in 1972. Up until 1975, only seven Indian cities had a television service. Television services were separated from radio in 1976. National telecasts were introduced in 1982. In the same year, colour TV was introduced in the Indian market. Indian small screen programming started off in the early 1980s. At that time there was only one national channel Doordarshan, which was government owned. The Ramayana and Mahabharata (both Indian spiritual & mythological stories) were the first major television series produced. This serial notched up the world record in viewership numbers for a single program. By the late 1980s more and more people started to own television sets. Though there was a single channel, television programming had reached saturation. Hence the government opened up another channel which had part national programming and part regional. This channel was known as DD 2 later DD Metro. Both channels were broadcast terrestrially.

Plot: A clumsy young Indian gets kicked out of the apartment of his girlfriend. Trying to win her back he starts to search for a job. Then a new resident named Ganesh moves in to the complex and Priya falls in love with him. Shatru scoffs at this, but gets concerned when his vehicle is blown up, and several of his goons end up dead. He confers with Satya, and together they decide to entrap Mass. While returning home, Priya watches Satya's goons taking Haftas from local businesses, and it is then she sees Ganesh, who is attempting to stop them. Priya does not know that she is headed for heartbreak for Ganesh has fallen in love with Satya's daughter, Anjali, who is not permitted to see Ganesh at any and all costs. When Shatru finds out Mass is Ganesh - he abducts Priya and another girl and holds them hostage and will only free them once he has Mass in his custody - so that he can first torture and then kill him.

Plot: After being asked to leave by his Policewoman fiancee, Agni Sinha (Sandhya Mridul), Punit Sanyal (Arshad Warsi) is lying drunk on a street bench in Bombay, when he comes across a wounded man on the street, shot at by hoodlums owing allegiance to Gangleader, Gangu Tai (Pratima Kazmi). He decides to assist this male, Vishnu (Prashant Narayanan), owing allegiance to yet another crime boss, Ganpat Mohite (Anant Jog). Vishnu and Punit become close friends, though Punit is not asked to participate in any criminal activity. When Ganpat finds out that Punit's brother was a police informer, and his fiancee a policewoman, he instructs Vishnu to kill Punit, but Vishnu does not do so, and Ganpat issues instructions to have him killed also. In the meantime, Punit is abducted by Gangu Tai and held there. Gangu has taken a liking to Punit, as he reminds her of her son. When the police start an investigation against Gangu Tai, they assign Agni to go and arrest her, which she does. When Gangu is released, she herself has Agni abducted and tied up in her hide-out. Agni is shocked when she finds out that Punit is involved with some of Bombay's most wanted, and now Punit must decide to stay with Vishnu, Gangu, and Ganpat or else go back to Agni, if so, will the three permit him to do so?

Devastated, he returns home and gets another shock when he finds that the male Sharada has married is no other than his very own father. He gets depressed and takes to alcohol in a big way. Sharada talks him out of this, he repents, and on her insistence, gets married to Chanchal, the daughter of Hukumdas and Lajjo, who come from a wealthy background. Things then spiral out of control when Chanchal finds out that her husband and his step-mother had been in love before and may not have overcome their intimate feelings for each other.
