recorded during my tour of the holy land and egypt.
According to Karima, our Egyptian tour guide, the area we were passing in this video could've been the area of Goshen where the Israelites settled in Egypt for about 400 yrs before Moses was sent by God to deliver them. (this incredible story is found in Genesis 37-50)
I remembered while on the bus, how one minute we were passing by the barren Sinai desert and then the next found some green trees and fertile land that ran for a few miles. I thought it was strange at first and then realized that perhaps it could've been Goshen even before Karima pIcked up the mike to explain. Amazing how such a land with greenery can flourish in the desert.

Lost and found
A lost and found (American English and Canadian English), lost property (British English), or lost articles (also Canadian English) is an office in a public building or area where people can go to retrieve lost articles that may have been found by others. Frequently found at museums, amusement parks and schools, a lost and found will typically be a clearly marked box or room in a location near the main entrance. This is in contrast to Old Dominion University's centralization of lost and found management through the use of technology to better manage the return-to-owner process.
Some lost and found offices will try to contact the owners of any lost items if there are any personal identifiers available. Practically all will either sell, give or throw away items after a certain period has passed to clear their storage.
History
First advertising of this kind appears on papyruses in Ancient Greece and Rome. In Japan, the lost-and-found property system dates to a code written in the year 718. The first modern lost and found office was organized in Paris in 1805. Napoleon ordered his prefect of police to establish it as a central place "to collect all objects found in the streets of Paris", according to Jean-Michel Ingrandt, who was appointed the office's director in 2001. However, it was not until 1893 that Louis Lépine, then prefect of police, organized efforts to actively track down the owners of lost items.

Land of Goshen
The Land of Goshen (Hebrew: אֶרֶץ גֹּשֶׁן or ארץ גושן Eretz Gošen) is named in the Bible as the place in Egypt given to the Hebrews by the pharaoh of Joseph (Genesis 45:9 - 10), and the land from which they later left Egypt at the time of the Exodus. It was located in the eastern Delta of the Nile.
Meaning of the name
If the Septuagint reading "Gesem" is correct, the word, which in its Hebrew form has no known meaning, may mean "cultivated"—comparing the Arabic root j-š-m, "to labor." Egyptologists have suggested a connection with the Egyptian word qas, meaning "inundated land" because Goshen was apparently the same region, called by the Greeks the "Arabian nome," which had its capital at Phakousa representing the Egyptian Pa-qas (Brugsch, Geog., I, 298), the name of a town, with the determinative for "pouring forth".Donald Redford, while not disputing the location of Goshen, gives a different origin for the name, deriving it from "Gasmu," the rulers of the Bedouin Qedarites who occupied the eastern Delta from the 7th century BC, but John Van Seters thinks this unlikely.

The land of Goshen
recorded during my tour of the holy land and egypt. According to Karima, our Egyptian tour guide, the area we were passing in this video could've been the area of Goshen where the Israelites settled in Egypt for about 400 yrs before Moses was sent by God to deliver them. (this incredible story is found in Genesis 37-50) I remembered while on the bus, how one minute we were passing by the barren Sinai desert and then the next found some green trees and fertile land that ran for a few miles. I thought it was strange at first and then realized that perhaps it could've been Goshen even before Karima pIcked up the mike to explain. Amazing how such a land with greenery can flourish in the desert.

recorded during my tour of the holy land and egypt.
According to Karima, our Egyptian tour guide, the area we were passing in this video could've been the area of Goshen where the Israelites settled in Egypt for about 400 yrs before Moses was sent by God to deliver them. (this incredible story is found in Genesis 37-50)
I remembered while on the bus, how one minute we were passing by the barren Sinai desert and then the next found some green trees and fertile land that ran for a few miles. I thought it was strange at first and then realized that perhaps it could've been Goshen even before Karima pIcked up the mike to explain. Amazing how such a land with greenery can flourish in the desert.

Diynamic’s Lehar, microCastle’s Luca Bachetti, Anjundadeep’s Patrice Baumel, Kompakt’s Termoment and Lost & Found head honcho Guy J have each reinterpreted their favourite off Khen’s future classic debut.
Starting off the sonic voyage is Luca Bachetti’s groovish take on ‘Authentica’ Adding to the recognisable lead melody, he gives the track an almost cinematic and atmospheric treatment that leaves you longing for more.
‘Imaginal Cells’ has been repurposed by the label boss himself into what can most succinctly be described as behemoth of melodic goodness. With trippy FX details and a serene breakdown, this remix is set for greatness as a future Guy J classic.
Essential New Tune recipient Patrice Baumel attempts to repeat recent hit with his Cubicolor remix by taking on ‘Land of Goshen’. Taking the track to a more driving and pumping direction with a nod to 90s classic Trance, this track will cause a stir in sets at dusk as well as dawn.
A trippy vibe with hints of old school Acid and an uncanny detailed soundscape that will leave you in awe at the next after party it’s played just when the sun starts to rise. This is enigmatic pseudonym Termoment’s take on ‘One Day of Independence’.
Last but certainly not least and capping off a cohesive yet musically diverse remix EP is Diyanamic mainstay Lehar.
His take on the Khen and Guy J collabo ‘Prism’ turns the intensity of the original down in a very sophisticated way and takes the track to deeper waters. With an infectious melody that marries the familiar underlying key elements of the original in perfect symbiosis, it provides a dreamy textbook ending to this EP
