That's what you call body art! Amazing UV pictures painted onto naked women celebrate the female form using images of sunsets, tropical oceans and mountains lit by moonlight
John Poppleton, from California, creates mindblowing works of art painted directly onto human skin using fluorescent shades. His project, called Under Black Light, consists of 'bodyscapes' of spectacular natural phenomena such as African sunsets, tropical oceans during rainstorm, and mountain ranges under moonlight. In more otherworldly, eerie designs the artist depicts cosmic scenes of stars, galaxies and shimmering auroras. ...read

Artist, 24, creates stunning sculptures using beaches as her blank canvas just one month after picking up a rake for first time
Chloe Dickey drew a huge floral design on a Port Macquarie beach on Saturday in under two hours. The 24-year-old from Lake Cathie, NSW, works in the wet sand at low tide meaning her drawings don't stick around for long when the waves roll in.
Feline arty! Artist loves her pet cat so much she's added it to works by Botticelli, Dali and even the Mona Lisa
A bizarre but strangely wonderful concept of classic paintings and fine art work 'improved' by a fat ginger cat, Fat Cat Art is rapidly growing its online fan base. The pieces are the work of Russian artist Svetlana Petrova who features her own cat Zarathustra in every picture.
Crumbs! Is that a Banksy? Artist trades her palette for a plate to create captivating culinary pop art
Tisha Cherry, a New Jersey-born registered nurse, takes inspiration from films, music, and celebrities, and recreates iconic images using everyday food (pictured). 'Pop culture is essentially my muse and the food on my plate is my medium,' Ms Cherry says of her unusual hobby.

Soul Of A Woman (Daptone)
A poignant farewell from the New York soul singer, who died last year of cancer. Backed by The Dap-Kings, Jones envisaged an album of slow songs, but widened the palate as her health faded. These Tears and When I Saw Your Face are ballads rooted in Philly soul, but theres also plenty of brassy funk and blues.

Songs From Different Times (De Angelis)
A collection of old tracks and B-sides, this captures a maturing talent who had yet to find the form that yielded the expansive rock of 2016s Sleep No More. These stripped-back songs are folky and skiffle-like; Sacred Land references Bob Dylan, while Ring Of Fire is a raw, acoustic cover of Johnny Cash.

If All I Was Was Black (Anti-)
The combination of gospel vocalist Mavis Staples and Jeff Tweedy, singer with rock band Wilco, is an unlikely one. On their third album together, Staples pleads for unity with a mixture of anger and compassion, quoting Michelle Obama: We go high when they go low. A winning mix of soul and country.

Synthesis (Sony Music)
With members coming and going in the 14 years since their biggest hit Bring Me To Life, American band Evanescence feels increasingly like a vehicle for Enya-like singer and pianist Amy Lee. This fourth album, featuring orchestral updates of old songs, does little to dispel that notion. Its powerhouse vocals, cymbals and strings are an ambitious primer for next years tour.>★★★
Sheridan (East West)
Actress Sheridan Smith is a capable torch singer, although this covers album of pop hits and big ballads doesnt allow her to show her character. Having played Cilla on TV, she is at home on Anyone Who Had A Heart. Rufus Wainwrights Dinner At Eight (penned after the writer clashed with his father, Loudon) is a bold song choice. But Smith is most comfortable on the show tunes of Funny Girl, La La Land and new smash Dear Evan Hansen.>★★★
Standards (Decca)
SEAL is the latest pop performer to flick through the Great American Songbook. His voice is rich and supple, but the swing classics of the Rat Pack era offer a fresh challenge and Standards is mixed. His big band version of Ive Got You Under My Skin is too obvious, but he navigates Cole Porters tricky tempo changes with aplomb on Love For Sale. At heart, though, he remains a formidable soul singer rather than a jazz man.>★★★
