Baddha Konasana.
Okay, Baddha Konasana. So you're going to bring your soles of the feet together, like the binding of a book. And the knees can come into a little butterfly shape. Okay? So you're going to walk your heels in towards your inner groins as much as you can. And then once you're here, you can grab onto the feet.
So I've got blocks onto the side. So if your knees are up high, and you feel like you're using a lot of muscle to keep them there, no problem. You can use your blocks and rest them down, or drop your blocks down and give them, give them a little place to rest upon. Then you can go deeper into the hips that way, and you're not holding on to your groins. So you can have those, you can have those if you'd like.
Otherwise you can grab ahold of the inner feet. And you're going to open the feet like a book, but you don't want to break the binding of the book. So the pinky side and the inner heel continues to press together. But you use your hands to aid in the knees falling closer towards the floor. And so you can stay with this process. Continue to grow from your hip to your armpit. So continue that place to grow. So nice and lifted. The low belly is scooping in and under, under or in and up. So the low belly is squeezing in and up. And then you can open up your hands like that book. Keep that binding the way it is.
And then start to reach your heart, up and over your toes. As though like a, like a big beach ball here. You're reaching your heart up and over your toes, and I like to press the elbows down into the legs. Extend the heart forward and press the elbows down into the legs. Again, heart forward. Exhale. And you can bring your nose down wherever it goes. An to come out, keep that flat back. Coming all the way up.

Then you can go deeper into the hips that way, and you're not holding on to your groins. So you can have those, you can have those if you'd like.
Otherwise you can grab ahold of the inner feet. And you're going to open the feet like a book, but you don't want to break the binding of the book. And then you can open up your hands like that book. Keep that binding the way it is.
And then start to reach your heart, up and over your toes. As though like a, like a big beach ball here. You're reaching your heart up and over your toes, and I like to press the elbows down into the legs. Extend the heart forward and press the elbows down into the legs. Again, heart forward. Exhale. And you can bring your nose down wherever it goes. An to come out, keep that flat back. Coming all the way up.

It is Slovenia’s ‘Florence’ situated between the Alps and the Balkans, the Adriatic and Lake Balaton. The Old Place, with a monument of national poet, Prešeren, is the gateway to the Old Town. With its pink marble façade, the Early Baroque Franciscan Church Of Mary dominates the square. The Dom Church Stolnica was built according to the design of Venetian, Andrea Pozzo in the 17th century. The interior of this Baroque church is quite overwhelming and with great attention to detail. Situated on the four hundred metre high Castle Hill, the Slovenian Acropolis was once inhabited by the Illyrians and Celts. The Roman watchtower later became both a strategic fortress and castle. A triumphal arch marks the entrance to the Žale Cemetery on the northeast edge of the city with a number of fine, richly decorated chapels. Here Jože Plečnik created a masterpiece that represented the transition from the world of the living, to the world of the dead. Columns flank the main path up to Tivoli Castle that was built by the Jesuits in the seventeenth century and soon became a summer residence of the bishops. Romantic lakes with water fowl and pretty flowers embellish the park, once the home of Field Marshal Radetzky. Ljubljana is a city of joie de vivre and pleasure where the Middle Ages, Baroque and Art Nouveau meet with the relaxed lifestyle of the south!

Visit Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia, and explore the places in its surroundings.
Besides having everything that all the other modern capitals have, Ljubljana succeeded in maintaining the relaxed atmosphere of a small city. This picturesque and very vibrant city is full of surprises. The region that besides Ljubljana comprises 25 other municipalities is noted for its traditional hospitality, diverse nature, nice towns, castles, quality traditional restaurants and village churches with their rich artistic legacy.
The Central Slovenia is the place where the alpine and karst landscapes meet. Thus, various unique natural and cultural particularities were created. Some of these are the Ljubljana Marshes, an area of wetlands and peat bogs known for its prehistoric pile dwellers and for its rare animal and vegetal species, the high mountain plateau Velika planina situated in the Kamnik Alps, noted for its ski centre and for being the oldest dairy herdsmen’s settlement in Europe, interesting subterranean caves, karstic fields and the mysterious forests of the Polhov Gradec and Posavje hills that abound with tourist farms.
You will definitely not be bored. The various cultural events are marked by the richness of the tradition as well as by the modern creativity. Forests, rivers and lakes offer great possibilities of an active holiday in the open air. You can choose between hiking, cycling, exploring the nature, hunting, fishing and during the winter, also between skiing and cross-country skiing. There are also some well-maintained golf courses.

Baddha Konasana.
Okay, Baddha Konasana. So you're going to bring your soles of the feet together, like the binding of a book. And the knees can come into a little butterfly shape. Okay? So you're going to walk your heels in towards your inner groins as much as you can. And then once you're here, you can grab onto the feet.
So I've got blocks onto the side. So if your knees are up high, and you feel like you're using a lot of muscle to keep them there, no problem. You can use your blocks and rest them down, or drop your blocks down and give them, give them a little place to rest upon. Then you can go deeper into the hips that way, and you're not holding on to your groins. So you can have those, you can have those if you'd like.
Otherwise you can grab ahold of the inner feet. And you're going to open the feet like a book, but you don't want to break the binding of the book. So the pinky side and the inner heel continues to press together. But you use your hands to aid in the knees falling closer towards the floor. And so you can stay with this process. Continue to grow from your hip to your armpit. So continue that place to grow. So nice and lifted. The low belly is scooping in and under, under or in and up. So the low belly is squeezing in and up. And then you can open up your hands like that book. Keep that binding the way it is.
And then start to reach your heart, up and over your toes. As though like a, like a big beach ball here. You're reaching your heart up and over your toes, and I like to press the elbows down into the legs. Extend the heart forward and press the elbows down into the legs. Again, heart forward. Exhale. And you can bring your nose down wherever it goes. An to come out, keep that flat back. Coming all the way up.

Special guest appearance in this video (6:00) from the current WORLD 24 HOUR PADDLING WOMANS RECORD HOLDER Anji Lees - in 2014 she paddled 201km in 24 hours to break the distance record for women. The level is rising rapidly and could be 0.7-0.8m tomorrow in the Avon Valley, here's hoping!!

Ever wondered what happens to your footwear after you're finished with it? This week's award-winning and startlingly original documentary traces the fantastic journey of Africa's most popular shoes: the flip-flop. Easily bought, quickly discarded, the flip-flop stands as a symbol of the summer holiday for millions of westerners. But in its African homeland, it undergoes a series of versatile transformations. Filmed over a two year period, this startling and uplifting film takes an ingenious look at the lifecycle of the flip-flop. It's especially noteworthy for the beauty of its photography and editing. We guarantee you will have never seen anything like it.
The flip-flops' journey begins in the factories of Mombasa, where 20 million pairs a year are made. Popular all over Africa, there's one place in particular where the flip-flops really make their mark - the small Swahili island of Lamu. Cheap and cheerful, they have become an integral part of Swahili dress. Worn by all ages, the 'pata patas', as they are called by locals, are everywhere: aboard dhows and donkeys, bearing loads and left waiting for their owners on mosque doorsteps.
Worn-in and worn-out they are taken to the Lamu cobblers, who specialise in flip-flop maintenance. But some are too damaged to be repaired and lie rejected with the rest of Lamu's litter. Every May, the monsoon rains wash the island's rubbish to the ocean. The downpour flushes the town clean, enabling the discarded cast-offs to make their escape.
Brushing shoulders with other marine wanderers, they are swept along by the ocean's current. Sea borne for years, their buoyancy and resilience are put to good use by ocean hitch-hikers. Colonised by goose-barnacles and boarded by swimming crabs, they eventually come to rest on distant coastlines. There they bring specks of vibrant colour to washed-up debris.
Curled up, dried out and littered across the shores of the Kiwaiyu island, they are soon snapped up by hungry ghost crabs who feast on the helpless barnacles. But the crabs are not the only beach-combers eager to put the flip-flops to good use. Islanders from Kiwayu search the beach for flip-flops washed up by the sea. Later, in the shade of their thatched homes, they ingeniously carve life back into the tide's offerings.
The islanders prize the discarded pata-patas as a valuable resource. The flip-flops are carved into dolphins, turtles and mobiles, fuelling a new cottage industry which provides precious income for many families. Their children craft model boats from the rubber soles, making their own toys from the ocean's debris.
Newly transformed, the flip-flops begin yet another journey. Leaving the quiet shores of Kiwayu, they are transported back to the shop-lined shores of Mombasa, where their first journey began.
Winner of the Newcomers Award at Jackson Hole. Nominated for the IDA Pere Lorenz Award and the Distinguished Short Documentary Award at the IDAFF in San Francisco.
