Also isn’t it funny how a football team is named after a racial slur and they are playing on Thanksgiving Dayhttps://twitter.com/lilnativeboy/status/931331289269002240 …

If they had any decency they would change the name...but they haven't. They are an international disgrace.
-
Funny that 9 out 10 Natives surveyed are not offended by the Redskins name but the ones truly offended seem to be white self-hating liberals LOL
-
Hmm sounds like you are basing your opinion off anecdotes. I can do that too. I live in a rural community so Native Americans are far & few between. But the two I met & talked to at length were pretty offended by the team not changing it's name.
-
You're really comparing a survey posted by The Washington Post to your supposed individual experience of only meeting TWO Native Americans who shared your view? Garbaaaage.
-
Lol well I was messing with you becuz u just survey so how was I supposed to know? Nevermind don't answer I suspect as always a snappy response. Social media has been a very detrimental thing for humankind
-
You just said survey*

Does this guy need statistic valdation as to whether racial slurs are ok or not? What if results against your opinion. Would it be ok then?

share a link to native organizations instead
-
He is an organization.
-
How? All I see is an individual. Seems pretty damn tacky to try to get money out of this.
-
He's asking for help with college. Not drug money. Not all of us were born with silver spoons...
-
That's not the point. He tweeted about an issue facing native people but then replied to it with a donation link for himself, instead of a link related to the issue he tweeted about/ instead of a link that can help the issue
-
Y'all really look for reasons to be offended.

As an indigenous person won't your tribe help you with commodities and healthcare? It should be part of your reparations package. I know mine does...
-
What an asshole comment. Indigenous people living in the rez are suffering big time. Reparations?! Lol. And those who aren't living on a rez and don't "appear" indigenous, we're mocked and have a hell of a time even proving ancestry. I can, but the US labels my people "extinct".
-
We're not extinct, obviously, and Canada acknowledges us. That doesn't mean I receive reparations, nor do I ever expect or want them. What I want is help for first nation people, especially living rez life, acknowledgement of the genocide that took place and some damn respect.
