Canada (i/ˈkænədə/; French: [ka.na.da]) is a country in the northern part of North America. Its ten provinces and three territories extend from the Atlantic to the Pacific and northward into the Arctic Ocean, covering 9.98 million square kilometres (3.85 million square miles), making it the world's second-largest country by total area and the fourth-largest country by land area. Canada's border with the United States is the world's longest land border. Canada is sparsely populated, the majority of its land territory being dominated by forest and tundra and the Rocky Mountains; about four-fifths of the country's population of 35 million people live near the southern border. The majority of Canada has a cold or severely cold winter climate, but southerly areas are warm in summer.
The land now called Canada has been inhabited for millennia by various Aboriginal peoples. Beginning in the 15th century, British and French colonies were established on the Atlantic coast, with the first establishment of a region called "Canada" occurring in 1537. As a consequence of various conflicts, the United Kingdom gained and lost territories within British North America until left, in the late 18th century, with what mostly geographically comprises Canada today. Pursuant to the British North America Act, on July 1, 1867, the colonies of Canada, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia joined to form the autonomous federal Dominion of Canada. This began an accretion of provinces and territories to the self-governing Dominion to the present ten provinces and three territories forming modern Canada. In 1931, Canada achieved near total independence from the United Kingdom with the Statute of Westminster 1931, and full sovereignty was attained when the Canada Act 1982 removed the last remaining ties of legal dependence on the British parliament.
Air Canada (TSX: AC) is the flag carrier and largest airline of Canada. The airline, founded in 1937, provides scheduled and charter air transport for passengers and cargo to 178 destinations worldwide. It is the world's tenth-largest passenger airline by fleet size, and is a founding member of the Star Alliance. Air Canada's corporate headquarters are located in Montreal, Quebec, while its largest hub is Toronto Pearson International Airport, located in Mississauga, Ontario. Air Canada had passenger revenues of CA$13.27 billion in 2014. The airline's regional service is Air Canada Express.
Canada's national airline originated from the Canadian federal government's 1936 creation of Trans-Canada Airlines (TCA), which began operating their first transcontinental flight routes in 1938. In 1965, TCA was renamed Air Canada following government approval. After the deregulation of the Canadian airline market in the 1980s, the airline was privatized in 1988. On 4 January 2000, Air Canada acquired their largest rival, Canadian Airlines. In 2003, the airline filed for bankruptcy protection and in the following year emerged and reorganized under the holding company ACE Aviation Holdings Inc. In 2006, 34 million people flew with Air Canada as the airline celebrated their 70th anniversary. Air Canada is recognized as the Skytrax Best International Airline in North America, and was ranked as a 4 Star Airline by Skytrax in 2013. It is also one of Canada's best managed companies.
Small businesses are normally privately owned corporations, partnerships, or sole proprietorships. What businesses are defined as "small" in terms of government support and tax policy varies depending on the country and industry. Small businesses range from 15 employees under the Australian Fair Work Act 2009, 50 employees according to the definition used by the European Union, and fewer than 500 employees to qualify for many U.S. Small Business Administration programs. Small businesses can also be classified according to other methods such as sales, assets, or net profits.
Small businesses are common in many countries, depending on the economic system in operation. Typical examples include: convenience stores, other small shops (such as a bakery or delicatessen), hairdressers, tradesmen, lawyers, accountants, restaurants, guest houses, photographers, small-scale manufacturing, and online businesses, such as web design and programming, etc.
Researchers and analysts of small or owner-managed businesses generally behave as if nominal organizational forms (e.g., partnership, sole-trader or corporation) and the consequent legal and accounting boundaries of owner-managed firms are consistently meaningful. However, owner-managers often do not delineate their behaviour to accord with the implied separation between their personal and business interests. Lenders also often contract around organizational (corporate) boundaries by seeking personal guarantees or accepting privately held assets as collateral. Because of this behaviour, researchers and analysts should reject the relevance of the organizational types and implied boundaries in many contexts relating to owner-managed firms. These include analyses that use traditional accounting disclosures, and studies that view the firm as defined by some formal organizational structure.
A business, also known as an enterprise, agency or a firm, is an entity involved in the provision of goods and/or services to consumers. Businesses are prevalent in capitalist economies, where most of them are privately owned and provide goods and services to customers in exchange for other goods, services, or money. Businesses may also be social not-for-profit enterprises or state-owned public enterprises targeted for specific social and economic objectives. A business owned by multiple individuals may be formed as an incorporated company or jointly organised as a partnership. Countries have different laws that may ascribe different rights to the various business entities.
Business can refer to a particular organization or to an entire market sector, e.g. "the music business". Compound forms such as agribusiness represent subsets of the word's broader meaning, which encompasses all activity by suppliers of goods and services. The goal is for sales to be more than expenditures resulting in a profit.
Business class is a travel class available on many commercial airlines and rail lines, known by brand names which vary by airline or rail company. In the airline industry, it was originally intended as an intermediate level of service between economy class and first class, but many airlines now offer business class as the highest level of service, having eliminated first class seating. Business class is distinguished from other travel classes by the quality of seating, food, drinks, ground service and other amenities. Full business class is usually denoted 'J' or 'C' with schedule flexibility, but can be many other letters depending on circumstances.
Airlines began separating full-fare and discounted economy class passengers in the late 1970s. In 1976, KLM introduced a Full Fare Facilities (FFF) service for its full fare economy class passengers, which allowed them to sit at the front of the economy cabin immediately behind first class, and this concept was quickly copied by several other airlines including Air Canada. Both United Airlines and Trans World Airlines experimented with a similar three-class concept in 1978, but abandoned it due to negative reactions from discount economy class travelers who felt that amenities were being taken away from them. United also cited the difficulty of tracking which passengers should be seated in which section of the economy cabin on connecting flights.American Airlines also began separating full-fare economy passengers from discounted economy passengers in 1978, and offered open middle seats for full-fare passengers.

If you're a national army in the market for a brand spanking new jet, smart rifle, or drone, you might consider checking out CANSEC, Canada's premier defense trade show. While Canada is known as a peacekeeping nation and for turning down (publicly, at least) George Bush's invitation to invade Iraq in the "Coalition of the Willing," military exports are booming as of late. And every year at CANSEC, held in Canada's quiet capital of Ottawa, Canadian and international defence and security contractors hawk their wares to soldiers, generals, and defence officials from Peru to Israel. While the military products on site aren't for sale per se, defence companies use CANSEC to showcase their best hardware to serious national armies looking for upgrades. With the support of the Harper governm...

You don't have to be a Business Class flyer to use this lounge, you just gatta have your right stuff to enter. The Pod seating I thought was really good. There are mixed reviews on AC Pod system, but I suppose it's what suits your comfort. Not sitting beside your traveling companion would be one issue, but really to my wife & I, it wasn't a problem. We both had window seats, and we were both very happy to have our own space! The bed was really comfortable, and easy to prepare. It's not as fancy as other airlines, bu...

The city was ransacked in the Battle of York during the War of 1812. In 1834, York was incorporated as a city and renamed Toronto. https://www.expedia.com/Ottawa.d178296.Destination-Travel-Guides Welcome to Ottawa, Ontario, where you’ll find charming old-world buildings surrounded by picturesque natural beauty. The first stop on an Ottawa tour should be the Rideau Canal. This waterway cuts the city in half, and it provides places for boating and paddleboarding during the summer. Visiting in winter? Not a problem—you can go ice skating along the Rideau when it ices over. On the south side of the river, you can see the Changing of the Guard Ceremony at Parliament Hill. A few blocks to the north is the National Gallery of Canada, a stunning glass-and-granite building full of art from Canadian, European, and other North American artists. You’ll be hungry after all this walking around, so head to ByWard Market. If you...

http://www.expedia.com/Niagara-Falls.d6023515.Destination-Travel-Guides Niagara Falls has long been a symbol of natural power and beauty. Visit this hallmark of Canadian and American tourism and see its majesty from a helicopter, boat, or walkway. Your Niagara Falls tour begins with a little bit of information: more than six million cubic feet of water spill over the sides per minute. You can explore three waterfalls, the most famous being the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, which are the widest and most powerful. Take a half-hour boat cruise and bask in the falls’ mist, or enter a special set of walkways behind the falls and see the strength and might of the rushing water right in front of you. No Niagara Falls sightseeing trip is complete without exploring the Botanical Gardens or Niagara o...

Air Canada Business Class Review Dreamliner 787 Air Canada 787 Dreamliner Trip Report A wonderful experience flying Air Canada Business Class on the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner from Vancouver to London Heathrow. I had a great flight in Air Canada Business Class from Vancouver to Toronto. I almost missed this flight as my incoming flight from Seattle was delayed and I had just 30 minutes to clear Canadian customs and make it to this flight. I made it and settled into my seat and had a very nice smooth flight over the Atlantic. The highlight was that it was light outside the entire way which you don't get that much on eastbound flights. The service and food was fantastic and the seat itself was really nice and I would fly Air Canada again. Air Canada Flight 896 Depart: Vancouver (YVR) Arriv...

Finally, the report on AIR CANADA is coming up!! One more thing to tell, this is the first report on AIR CANADA from SEOUL to VANCOUVER for entire YOUTUBE!! Even website like Flight Report only have VANCOUVER to SEOUL, but they don't have the way back!! I'm extremely lucky to get on this brand new AC B787-9, is actually my first time to sit in this DREAMLINER! However, i don"t think it has a much difference in comparison to its predecessor, B777-300ER. Probably more moisture inside aircraft? This report also has a review on SQ lounge at SEOUL, and i do not bother to visit ASIANA LOUNGE at all since food offerings, and other aspects are EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING....... At the end, if price works well, SEOUL is a perfect place for transfer!! I mean place wit FREE STRONG WIFI witho...
