A man has been left red-faced and could be charged after he brandished a plastic gun during a photo shoot in Perth on Tuesday afternoon, causing dozens of police to descend on the area.
The incident occurred on William Street near Elizabeth Quay around midday.

A police spokesman said a woman and man were taking part in an apparent photoshoot when the man began posing with a plastic gun.
It is not clear if the photoshoot was for professional purposes.
Several members of the public saw the gun and called triple-0 resulting in police descending on the scene.

The man, who WAtoday understands was not acting in a threatening manner, was allegedly shocked by the police response.
He has been taken into custody.
