Traffic and train delays after truck stuck under bridge in Milton

A busy inner-Brisbane road has been closed to remove a truck after it became stuck under a bridge on Tuesday morning.

Police said the Woolworths truck was driving along Boomerang Street at Milton when it became stuck under a rail bridge about 6.30am.

Officers were on scene directing traffic and trains were delayed in both directions, according to the Translink website.

Police have closed Milton Road as tow truck drivers attempt to remove the truck from under the bridge.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
