Giant Salamander Emerges from River in Japan. In Kyoto Japan, bystanders were surprised by the appearance of a giant creature. This strange animal was discovered on a footpath along the Kamo River where it must have come from. It is a Japanese Giant Salamander and is considerably rare to witness, especially since they make their home underwater and are only active at night. Axolotl: Cool Cute Aquarium Mexican Salamander
Axolotl also known as Mexican salamander
or Mexican walking fish, is a neotenic salamander,
closely related to the tiger salamander.
Although the axolotl is colloquially known as
a "walking fish", it is not a fish, but an amphibian.
The species originates from numerous lakes,
such as Lake Xochimilcounderlying Mexico City.
Axolotls are unusual among amphibians in that they
reach adulthood without undergoing metamorphosis.
Instead of developing lungs and taking to land,
the adults remain aquatic and gilled.
A sexually mature adult axolotl,
at age 18–24 months, ranges in length from 15–45 cm,
although a size close to 23 cm is most common and
greater than 30 cm is rare.
Their heads are wide, and their eyes are lidless.
Their limbs are underdeveloped and possess long,
thin digits. Males are identified by their swollen cloacae
lined with papillae, while females are noticeable for
their wider bodies full of eggs.
Three pairs of external gill stalks originate behind their
heads and are used to move oxygenated water.
The external gill rami are lined with filaments to
increase surface area for gas exchange.
Four gill slits lined with gill rakers are hidden
underneath the external gills.
Axolotls have barely visible vestigial teeth,
which would have developed during metamorphosis.
The primary method of feeding is by suction,
during which their rakers interlock to close the gill slits.
External gills are used for respiration,
although buccal pumping may also be used to provide
oxygen to their lungs. Axolotls have four different colours,
including two mutant colors. The two normal
colors are "wildtype" and melanoid.
The two mutant colors are leucistic (pale pink with black eyes)
and albino (golden, tan or pale pink with pink eyes).

Giant salamanders can grow to 5 feet in length and weigh up to 80 lbs. They face a barrier of dams in Japan, built to control flooding. Now it's hoped a new system will help these giant amphibians get upstream past the dams to lay their eggs.

Salamander
Salamanders are a group of amphibians typically characterized by a lizard-like appearance, with slender bodies, blunt snouts, short limbs projecting at right angles to the body, and the presence of a tail in both larvae and adults. All present-day salamander families are grouped together under the scientific name Urodela. Salamander diversity is most abundant in the Northern Hemisphere and most species are found in the Holarctic ecozone, with some species present in the Neotropical zone.
Salamanders never have more than four toes on their front legs and five on their rear legs, but some species have fewer digits and others lack hind limbs. Their permeable skin usually makes them reliant on habitats in or near water or other cool, damp places. Some salamander species are fully aquatic throughout their lives, some take to the water intermittently, and others are entirely terrestrial as adults. Unique among vertebrates, they are capable of regenerating lost limbs, as well as other damaged parts of their bodies. Members of the family Salamandridae are mostly known as newts and lack the costal grooves along the sides of their bodies typical of other groups. The skin of some species contains the powerful poison tetrodotoxin and these salamanders tend to be slow-moving and have bright warning coloration to advertise their toxicity. Salamanders typically lay eggs in water and have aquatic larvae, but great variation occurs in their lifecycles. In some species and some harsh environments, salamanders reproduce while still in the larval state.

Giant salamander
Cryptobranchidae is a family of salamanders commonly known as the giant salamanders. A single species, the hellbender (Cryptobranchus alleganiensis) occurs in the eastern United States, while Asian species occur in both China and Japan. They are the largest living amphibians known today. The Japanese giant salamander (Andrias japonicus), reaches up to 1.44 m (4.7 ft), feeds on fish and crustaceans, and has been known to live for more than 50 years in captivity. The Chinese giant salamander (Andrias davidianus) can reach a length of 1.8 m (5.9 ft).
Taxonomy
The family name is from the Ancient Greek krypto ("hidden"), and branch ("gill"), which refer to how the members absorb oxygen through capillaries of their side-frills, which function as gills.

Tiger salamander
The tiger salamander or eastern tiger salamander (Ambystoma tigrinum) is a North American species of mole salamander.
Description
Tiger salamanders grow to a typical length of 6–8 in (15–20 cm) and a maximum of 14 in (36 cm) in length, particularly neotenic individuals. Adults are usually blotchy with grey, green, or black, and have large, lidded eyes. They have short snouts, thick necks, sturdy legs, and long tails. Their diets consist largely of small insects and worms, though it is not rare for an adult to consume small frogs and baby mice.
Adults are rarely seen in the open, and often live in burrows that are usually two feet from the surface. Tiger salamanders are almost entirely terrestrial as adults, and usually only return to the water to breed, but also they partly live in both land and water. Although tiger salamanders are terrestrial, they are good swimmers. Like all ambystomatids, they are extremely loyal to their birthplaces, and will travel long distances to reach them. However, a single tiger salamander has only a 50% chance of breeding more than once in its lifetime. Males nudge a willing female to initiate mating, and then deposit a spermatophore on the lake bottom. The female picks up the packet and deposits the now-fertilized eggs on vegetation. Large-scale captive breeding of tiger salamanders has not been accomplished, for unknown reasons.

Coyote
The coyote (US /kaɪˈoʊtiː/ or /ˈkaɪ.oʊt/, UK /kɔɪˈjoʊteɪ/, or /kɔɪˈjoʊt/;Canis latrans) is a canid native to North America. It is a smaller, more basal animal than its close relative, the gray wolf, being roughly the North American equivalent to the Old World golden jackal, though it is larger and more predatory in nature. It is listed as "least concern" by the IUCN, on account of its wide distribution and abundance throughout North America, even southwards through Mexico and Central America. It is a highly versatile species, whose range has expanded amidst human environmental modification. This expansion is ongoing, and it may one day reach South America, as shown by the animal's presence beyond the Panama Canal in 2013.As of 2005, 19 subspecies are recognized.
The ancestors of the coyote diverged from those of the gray wolf, 1–2 million years ago, with the modern species arising in North America during the Middle Pleistocene. It is highly flexible in social organization, living either in nuclear families or in loosely knit packs of unrelated individuals. It has a varied diet consisting primarily of animal matter, including ungulates, lagomorphs, rodents, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and invertebrates, though it may also eat fruit and vegetable matter on occasion. It is a very vocal animal, whose most iconic sound consists of a howl emitted by solitary individuals.Humans aside, cougars and gray wolves are the coyote's only serious enemies. Nevertheless, coyotes have on occasion mated with the latter species, producing hybrids colloquially called "coywolves".

Giant Salamander Emerges from River in Japan. In Kyoto Japan, bystanders were surprised by the appearance of a giant creature. This strange animal was discovered on a footpath along the Kamo River where it must have come from. It is a Japanese Giant Salamander and is considerably rare to witness, especially since they make their home underwater and are only active at night. Axolotl: Cool Cute Aquarium Mexican Salamander Axolotl also known as Mexican salamander or Mexican walking fish, is a neotenic salamander, closely related to the tiger salamander. Although the axolotl is colloquially known as a "walking fish", it is not a fish, but an amphibian. The species originates from numerous lakes, such as Lake Xochimilcounderlying Mexico City. Axolotls are unusual among amphibians in that they reach adulthood without undergoing metamorphosis. Instead of developing lungs and taking to land, the adults remain aquatic and gilled. A sexually mature adult axolotl, at age 18–24 months, ranges in length from 15–45 cm, although a size close to 23 cm is most common and greater than 30 cm is rare. Their heads are wide, and their eyes are lidless. Their limbs are underdeveloped and possess long, thin digits. Males are identified by their swollen cloacae lined with papillae, while females are noticeable for their wider bodies full of eggs. Three pairs of external gill stalks originate behind their heads and are used to move oxygenated water. The external gill rami are lined with filaments to increase surface area for gas exchange. Four gill slits lined with gill rakers are hidden underneath the external gills. Axolotls have barely visible vestigial teeth, which would have developed during metamorphosis. The primary method of feeding is by suction, during which their rakers interlock to close the gill slits. External gills are used for respiration, although buccal pumping may also be used to provide oxygen to their lungs. Axolotls have four different colours, including two mutant colors. The two normal colors are "wildtype" and melanoid. The two mutant colors are leucistic (pale pink with black eyes) and albino (golden, tan or pale pink with pink eyes). -

These gentle little amphibians are known to have some really beautiful colorations and since they are one of the safest animals you can encounter in the forest, searching the creek beds for them is one of the best ways to introduce children to the wonders of nature.

or Mexican walking fish, is a neotenic salamander,
closely related to the tiger salamander.
Although the axolotl is colloquially known as
a "walking fish", it is not a fish, but an amphibian.
The species originates from numerous lakes,
such as Lake Xochimilcounderlying Mexico City.
Axolotls are unusual among amphibians in that they
reach adulthood without undergoing metamorphosis.
Instead of developing lungs and taking to land,
the adults remain aquatic and gilled.
A sexually mature adult axolotl,
at age 18–24 months, ranges in length from 15–45 cm,
although a size close to 23 cm is most common and
greater than 30 cm is rare.
Their heads are wide, and their eyes are lidless.
Their limbs are underdeveloped and possess long,
thin digits. Males are identified by their swollen cloacae
lined with papillae, while females are noticeable for
their wider bodies full of eggs.
Three pairs of external gill stalks originate behind their
heads and are used to move oxygenated water.
The external gill rami are lined with filaments to
increase surface area for gas exchange.
Four gill slits lined with gill rakers are hidden
underneath the external gills.
Axolotls have barely visible vestigial teeth,
which would have developed during metamorphosis.
The primary method of feeding is by suction,
during which their rakers interlock to close the gill slits.
External gills are used for respiration,
although buccal pumping may also be used to provide
oxygen to their lungs. Axolotls have four different colours,
including two mutant colors. The two normal
colors are "wildtype" and melanoid.
The two mutant colors are leucistic (pale pink with black eyes)
and albino (golden, tan or pale pink with pink eyes).

美しい輝きを放つ水の惑星ラティスには昔から語り継がれている「炎の予言」があった。～千光年の彼方より、炎の海に生まれ棲む巨大な竜が目覚めし時、狂気のフォースが迫り来て、天地は闇にのみ込まれ、やがて光は打ち砕ける～ そして、その予言通りにバクテリアン星団のサラマンダ軍が惑星ラティスの侵略を始めた。ラティスの王子は、自分の名を付けた時空戦闘機「ロードブリティッシュ号」で自ら戦闘に挑んだが、満身創痍で脱出し、かつてバクテリアン星団を打ち破ったといわれる惑星グラディウスに救援を求めた。知らせを受けたグラディウス軍の勇者は、ロードブリティッシュ号を伴って、強大な支配力を持つサラマンダ軍の母星へ飛び立った。超時空戦闘機ビックバイパー発進！！

The earliest example of the latter appears towards the end of the very first level, in which imposing, organic obstructions grow before the players' eyes. The game's third level - the infamous 'lava' level - is another good example of Salamander's superb design; with huge solar flares constantly erupting both above and below the player's ship that must be carefully navigated to avoid instant loss of life. Salamander introduced further variety to the action with the introduction vertically-scrolling levels, which alternated with the standard side-scrolling levels.
Salamander's weapon power-up system is as follows :
* SPEED UP : Five speed levels.
* MISSILE : Press missile button to launch.
* LASER : Your forward rockets turn into deadly lasers.
* RIPPLE LASER : Use shoot button to fire.
* FORCE FIELD : Protect your ship with barriers.
* MULTIPLE : Increase your fire power by up to four times.
Multiple special powers can be obtained, but the LASER cannot be used in conjunction with the RIPPLE Laser.

So what is there to say about it? Well it appears to be very similar to jurassic park builder but has better graphics and better mechanics, things have been tweaked for better game play and it seems like Ludia has spent a lot of time evaluating what it takes to make a good App Game.45
