Altea (Valencian: [aɫˈtea], Spanish: [alˈtea]) is a town and municipality located in the province of Alicante, Spain, north of Alicante on the section of Mediterranean coast called the Costa Blanca.
At present, the economy of Altea is based on tourism, which started to grow in the 1950s because of its good weather, beaches and the labyrinthine streets with whitewashed house-fronts that characterize the town. Altea is protected on the north by the bluffs of the Serra de Bèrnia, creating an especially mild microclimate. Its seafront esplanade is planted with palms.
The Iberian coastal settlements at the mouth of the Algar river in the wide Bay of Altea were later joined by a Greek marketplace, named Althaia.
During the Moorish domination the land around Altea belonged to the Taifa of Dénia until it was recaptured by the Christians in 1244 under James I of Aragon. The town was quickly fortified, and walls were erected to enclose what is now known as the "old town" from outsiders.
Costa Blanca (Valencian: [ˈkɔsta ˈβlaŋka], Spanish: [ˈkosta ˈβlaŋka], literally in English "White Coast") refers to over 200 kilometres (120 mi) of Mediterranean coastline in the Alicante province of Spain. It describes the shoreline on the southeastern coast of Spain. The name "Costa Blanca" was devised as a promotional name used by BEA when they launched their air service (for £38.16s.-) between London and Valencia in 1957. It has a well-developed tourism industry and is a popular destination for British and German tourists. It extends from the town of Dénia in the north, beyond which lies the Costa del Azahar (or Costa dels Tarongers), to Pilar de la Horadada in the south, beyond which lies the Costa Cálida.
The localities along the Costa Blanca are Alicante (Alicante/Alacant), Altea, Benidorm, Benissa (Benisa), Calp (Calpe), Dénia (Denia), Elche (Elche/Elx), El Campello (Campello), Finestrat, Guardamar del Segura, L'Alfàs del Pi (Alfaz del Pi), Orihuela Costa, Pilar de la Horadada, Santa Pola, Teulada–Moraira, Torrevieja, Villajoyosa (Villajoyosa/La Vila Joiosa) and Xàbia (Xàbia/Jávea). Benidorm and Alicante cities are the major tourist centres. Costa Blanca North and Costa Blanca South are totally different.

Altea. The typically Spanish 'white' town of Altea is approximately 12 kilometres north of Benidorm. We say 'white' because it is a beautiful town built on a hillside overlooking the Mediterranean sea, with its white houses shimmering in the sunshine on tiny streets leading up to its magnificent blue domed church which dominates the town. It really is a picture postcard version of Spain and one that is so far removed from the skyscrapers of Benidorm; it is difficult to believe that they are both neighbours. Once outside the imposing church you will discover the hub of 'central Altea'. This glorious piazza comes to life each evening and offers a multitude of bars and upscale restaurants. There are also located here some great viewing spots, the views are breath taking, taking in the town an...

Do ya... wanna do some crack?
Do ya wanna drop a log?
Do ya prefer to pick your nose?
Or would ya rather mouse a hog?
The bathroom is a holy place
I can wack-off without disgrace
What! There's no paper? I don't care
I'll wipe my ass with my underwear
The bathroom is a holy place
I can wack-off without disgrace
There's so many games to play in here
Like "Bombs away in the hollow chair"
It's a place I can think
Projects chunks in the sink
So many things to do in there
You can't see me - so I don't care
