Sabado 3 de Septiembre del 2011.Asi es la entrada de Aberdeen , la ciudad en donde nacio Kurt Cobain,En el Estado de Washington se inauguró una estatua de cuatro metros en forma de guitarra en conmemoración del 17.º aniversario de la muerte del famoso músico de rock Kurt Cobain, el líder de Nirvana.El monumento se erigió en Aberdeen, la ciudad natal de Cobain, en un parque donde el músico solía ir a componer canciones. La escultura de hormigón reproduce la guitarra Fender Jag-Stang fabricada por encargo del propio Cobain, que la diseñó personalmente. A la guitarra está atada una cinta de metal con una inscripción: "One more special message to go and then I'm done and I can go home" ("Un mensaje especial más para mandar y he terminado y podré irme a casa), una cita de la canción de Nirvana 'On a Plain'.

The Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery is a Cemetery in the Westwood Village area of Los Angeles, Ca. It is located at 1218 Glendon Avenue in Westwood, with an entrance from Wilshire Boulevard. 1905 as Sunset Cemetery, 1926 name officially changed to Westwood Village Memorial Park.
Although it is the resting place of some of the entertainment industry's greatest names, it also contains the graves of many uncelebrated people. For example, when Marilyn Monroe died in 1962, Joe DiMaggio, responsible for Monroe's arrangements, chose Westwood not because of its celebrities but because it was the resting place of Monroe's mother's friend, Grace Goddard, and Goddard's aunt, Ana Lower, both of whom had cared for Monroe as a child.
It is amazing to me this little Cemetery is tucked away in this large city. It is a beautiful place, and so peaceful. The grounds are kept very nice, and it is incredible to visit the final resting place of so many famous people who died way too early, and some who lived a long full life.

Westwood, Los Angeles
Westwood is a commercial and residential neighborhood in the northern central portion of the Westside region of Los Angeles, California. It is the home of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
The 2000 census found that the forty-seven thousand people living in the neighborhood were generally young and moderately diverse ethnically, with a generally high level of income and education.
The neighborhood was developed after 1919, with a new campus of the University of California being built and opened in 1926. Other attractions besides the UCLA campus include Westwood Village, with its historic motion picture theaters, restaurants and shopping, Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery and the Hammer Museum. Holmby Hills is considered one of the wealthiest residential areas in Los Angeles, and the Geffen Playhouse attracts theater-goers. A Mormon temple is also prominent.
There are several elementary schools and one middle school in the neighborhood.
Population
The 2010 U.S. census counted 47,916 residents in the 3.68-square-mile Westwood neighborhood—or 13,036 people per square mile, an average population density for the city. In 2008, the city estimated that the population had increased to 52,041. The median age for residents was 27, considered young for the city; the percentages of residents aged 19 to 34 was among the county's highest.

Memorial
A memorial is an object which serves as a focus for memory of something, usually a person (who has died) or an event. Popular forms of memorials include landmark objects or art objects such as sculptures, statues or fountains, and even entire parks.
Types
The most common type of memorial is the gravestone or the memorial plaque. Also common are war memorials commemorating those who have died in wars. Memorials in the form of a cross are called intending crosses.
Online memorials and tributes are becoming increasingly popular especially with the increase in natural burial where the laying of gravestones, or memorial plaques, is often not permitted.
When somebody has died, the family may request that a memorial gift (usually money) be given to a designated charity, or that a tree be planted in memory of the person.
Sometimes, when a high school student has died, the memorials are placed in the form of a scholarship, to be awarded to high-achieving students in future years.

The Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery is a Cemetery in the Westwood Village area of Los Angeles, Ca. It is located at 1218 Glendon Avenue in Westwood, with an entrance from Wilshire Boulevard. 1905 as Sunset Cemetery, 1926 name officially changed to Westwood Village Memorial Park.
Although it is the resting place of some of the entertainment industry's greatest names, it also contains the graves of many uncelebrated people. For example, when Marilyn Monroe died in 1962, Joe DiMaggio, responsible for Monroe's arrangements, chose Westwood not because of its celebrities but because it was the resting place of Monroe's mother's friend, Grace Goddard, and Goddard's aunt, Ana Lower, both of whom had cared for Monroe as a child.
It is amazing to me this little Cemetery is tucked away in this large city. It is a beautiful place, and so peaceful. The grounds are kept very nice, and it is incredible to visit the final resting place of so many famous people who died way too early, and some who lived a long full life.

USS Alabama & Battleship Memorial Park
I took a trip over to Battleship Memorial Park in Mobile Alabama to tour the USS Alabama. This was the first time I had ever been there and it was great! It's an awesome piece of American military history. While there I wanted to be sure to find the machine shop and any other metal working shops on board. I will have a couple more videos from this trip to soon follow. After the battleship, we toured the USS Drone, a submarine on site. Also there was is an airplane hangar and some military tanks. Fishing at Downs Memorial park sept. 18 2016
In this video I went fishing in the morning at Downs Park. I was catching spots using blood warms as bait, as you can see in the video I also used the spot as bait. But this time i didn't have any luck because I couldn't catch any rockfish or Bluefish. And I also used a few frozen shrimps that I took, that also didn't work. So blood warms is what I recommend as bait right now. I also tried for the first time a new rig that I made with number 4 circle hooks, the motive with this rig is that u can catch big and small fish with the same hooks. In my next video I will have try to do a tutorial with more details about the rigs that I mostly use. I took a trip over to Battleship Memorial Park in Mobile Alabama to tour the USS Alabama. This was the first time I had ever been there and it was great! It's an awesome piece of American military history. While there I wanted to be sure to find the machine shop and any other metal working shops on board.
I will have a couple more videos from this trip to soon follow. After the battleship, we toured the USS Drone, a submarine on site. Also there was is an airplane hangar and some military tanks.
I'd recommend anyone passing though or in the area to stop in and see them for yourself.

In this video I went fishing in the morning at Downs Park. I was catching spots using blood warms as bait, as you can see in the video I also used the spot as bait. But this time i didn't have any luck because I couldn't catch any rockfish or Bluefish. And I also used a few frozen shrimps that I took, that also didn't work. So blood warms is what I recommend as bait right now. I also tried for the first time a new rig that I made with number 4 circle hooks, the motive with this rig is that u can catch big and small fish with the same hooks. In my next video I will have try to do a tutorial with more details about the rigs that I mostly use.
