Sinbad the Sailor (also spelled Sindbad; Arabic: السندباد البحري as-Sindibādu al-Baḥriyy) is a fictional sailor and the hero of a story-cycle of Middle Eastern origin; he is described as living in Baghdad, during the Abbasid Caliphate. During his voyages throughout the seas east of Africa and south of Asia, he has fantastic adventures going to magical places, meeting monsters, and encountering supernatural phenomena.
The "Seven Seas" (as in the idiom "sail the Seven Seas") is an ancient phrase for all the world's oceans. Since the 19th century, the term has been taken to include seven oceanic bodies of water:
The World Ocean is also collectively known as 'the sea'. The International Hydrographic Organization lists over 70 distinct bodies of water called seas.
The term "Seven Seas" appears as early as 2300 BC in Hymn 8 of the Sumerian Enheduanna to the goddess Inanna. The Mesopotamians were the first in the history of astronomy to keep records of the observed seven moving objects in the heavens – the seven Classical Planets/Seven Heavens – and they made this connection to their seven seas.
In the 9th century AD, author Ya'qubi wrote:
We Don't is an album by American jazz saxophonist Jemeel Moondoc with drummer Denis Charles, which was recorded in 1981 but not issued until 2003 by the Eremite label. The title track is a traditional Caribbean tune.
In his review for AllMusic, Steve Loewy states "Jemeel Moondoc and Denis Charles are in outstanding form, with the saxophonist wailing passionately for the length of the album and the drummer egging him on with characteristic panache."
The Penguin Guide to Jazz notes that "Saxophone and drums is a tough discipline, sanctified by John Coltrane's duets with Rashied Ali. These are harsher and more abstract sessions, and the more reallistic parallel might be Ornette Coleman and Ed Blackwell."
The All About Jazz review by Clifford Allen states "As far as continua are concerned, We Don't is neither fire- breathing heaviness nor ice-cold experimentation, but a creative and energetic ride through the dictions of two of the most original voices on their instruments."
The JazzTimes review by Bill Shoemaker says "A passionate duo exchange with alto saxophonist Jemeel Moondoc, We Don't is a fine companion volume to a 1991 recording issued under Charles' leadership, Captain of the Deep, which also featured Moondoc."

The first part reconstructs the historical killing of 19-year-old Jim Griffin by 17-year-old Alistair Little in 1975, and the second part depicts a fictional meeting between Little and Jim's brother Joe 33 years later.
In Lurgan, Northern Ireland, during 1975 and the Northern Irish Troubles, the Irish Republican Army are targeting British loyalists and the loyalist Ulster Volunteer Force are exacting revenge on Catholics they claim are militant republicans. Alistair Little, 17, is the leader of a UVF cell, eager to let blood. He and his gang are given the go-ahead to kill a young Catholic man, James Griffin, as a reprisal and a warning to others. When they kill Griffin, his 8-year old little brother Joe Griffin watches in horror. Little is arrested and sentenced to prison for 12 years.
The Adventures of Sinbad is a Canadian Action/Adventure Fantasy television series which aired from 1996 to 1998. It follows on the story from the pilot of the same name. It revolves around the series' protagonist, Sinbad. The series is a re-telling of the adventures of Sinbad from The Arabian Nights. Created by Ed Naha, it was filmed in southern Ontario, Canada and in Cape Town, South Africa. The tone of the series resembled its contemporaries Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess.
A sword and sorcery adventure set in a land of myth and magic in the Middle East, around the Persian Gulf. The series tells of the adventures of Sinbad and his brother as they gather a crew, and set sail in the ship, Nomad, from Baghdad in search of wealth and adventure. Along the way they face witches, wizards, strange tribes and fantastic creatures.
After two years at sea, Sinbad returns to his home, Baghdad. The city is very different from the Baghdad he remembers. It is now in the control of a prince and the grand vizier. He lands himself in prison, where he is reacquainted with his elder brother, Doubar, and discovers he is to be beheaded. When the princess is kidnapped, the Caliph of Baghdad says Sinbad is the only man he knows who is capable of facing Turok, the man who captured the princess. Before Sinbad is beheaded, Doubar comes to the rescue and sets him free. The brothers meet up with the rest of Sinbad's crew and proceed to Turok's lair, in search for Princess Adena. Sinbad tells his crew they need the help of his and Doubar's old mentor, Master Dim-Dim, so the crew head off for the Isle of Dawn, where he resides. They arrive at the island where they meet Dim-Dim and his new apprentice, Maeve, along with her avian companion, Dermott, a hawk. After the crew leaves the island Dim-Dim goes missing and Maeve decides to join Sinbad and his crew in their search for the lost Master.

It's an incredible cinematic adventure as the legendary Sinbad sets off on a dangerous journey to the mysterious Island of Colossus. His quest is to break the spell cast over his beloved princess by a diabolical magician. But before he can save her, Sinbad must battle an awesome collection of mythical monsters, the man-eating Cyclops, a saber-wielding skeleton, a ferocious two-headed bird called the Roc and a fire-breathing dragon.
If you're new, Subscribe! → http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Looper In the 1980s and '90s, David Adkins achieved massive popularity with his keen observational and relationship comedy under the stage name Sinbad. His specials ran on cable constantly, he frequently did routines on the talk show circuit, and he was a regular on television and in film. These days, however...well, he's not. In fact, Sinbad's making more headlines lately for appearing in movies that never actually existed, rather than landing any new leading roles. I was amused at Sinbad when he used Baal & Valefor to fight Mira's Cerberus. Valefor is such a strong djinn! Valefor's stagnation power is superb! I do not own this video. Everything belongs to the creator of the manga series and the director of the anime series.

Pathetic basket case that went unheard
