Open Arms (Tina Turner song)

"Open Arms" is a song by American recording artist Tina Turner. It was written by Colette van Sertima, Ben Barson and former Kane Gang member Martin Brammer and produced by Jimmy Hogarth for her compilation album All the Best (2004). The track features backing vocals from KT Tunstall and Estelle.

Released as the album's lead single towards the end of 2004, it became a top 40 success on most of the charts it appeared on, reaching the top five in Belgium and Hungary and the top 30 in Italy and the United Kingdom. In the US, "Open Arms" peaked at number 15 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.

Claudiano Bezerra da Silva (born 16 May 1981), commonly known as Kaká (Portuguese pronunciation: [kaˈka]), is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for Portuguese club C.D. Tondela as a central defender.

Club career

Kaká was born in São José do Belmonte, Pernambuco. Until 2006 he was on contract to União Bandeirante Futebol Clube, also being loaned to several modest Brazilian clubs. For 2006–07 he made the move to Europe, joining Portuguese side Académica de Coimbra and being an undisputed starter in his second season in the top division (all 30 games played, 2,700 minutes of action), as the Students finished in 12th position.

In the 2008 summer Kaká signed with Bundesliga's Hertha BSC, for €1.9 million. He made his debut in the competition on 17 August, playing the full 90 minutes in a 2–0 away win against Eintracht Frankfurt, and finished his debut campaign with 12 matches; after only appearing twice for the Berlin-based team in the first half of 2009–10 – the season eventually ended in relegation – he was loaned to AC Omonia in Cyprus on 31 January 2010, helping it win the First Division title for the first time in seven years.

David Leonel Faleiro (born 12 January 1991 in Sapucaia do Sul) is a Brazilian football midfielder who recently played for the Slovak 2. liga club MFK Zemplín Michalovce, on loan from FK Senica.

FK Senica

In January 2011, he joined Slovak club FK Senica on three-year contract. He made his debut for FK Senica against FC Nitra on 4 March 2011. On 21 February David released contract with FK Senica.

MFK Zemplín Michalovce

In August 2011, he joined Slovak club MFK Zemplín Michalovce on a half-year loan from FK Senica. Kaká made his debut for MFK Zemplín Michalovce against MFK Dubnica on 13 August 2011.

Field army

A field army (or numbered army or simply army) is a military formation in many armed forces, composed of two or more corps and may be subordinate to an army group. Likewise, air armies are equivalent formation within some air forces. A field army is composed of 100,000 to 150,000 troops.

Particular field armies are usually named or numbered to distinguish them from "army" in the sense of an entire national land military force. In English, the typical style for naming field armies is word numbers, such as "First Army"; whereas corps are usually distinguished by Roman numerals (e.g. I Corps) and subordinate formations with ordinal numbers (e.g. 1st Division). A field army may be given a geographical name in addition to or as an alternative to a numerical name, such as the British Army of the Rhine, Army of the Niemen or Aegean Army (also known as the Fourth Army).

The Roman army was among the first to feature a formal field army, in the sense of a very large, combined arms formation, namely the sacer comitatus, which may be translated literally as "sacred escort". The term is derived from the fact that they were commanded by Roman emperors (who were regarded as sacred), when they acted as field commanders. While the Roman comitatensis (plural: comitatenses) is sometimes translated as "field army", it may also be translated as the more generic "field force" or "mobile force" (as opposed to limitanei or garrison units).

Factor H

Factor H is a member of the regulators of complement activation family and is a complement control protein. It is a large (155 kilodaltons), soluble glycoprotein that circulates in human plasma (at typical concentrations of 200–300 micrograms per milliliter). Its principal function is to regulate the Alternative Pathway of the complement system, ensuring that the complement system is directed towards pathogens or other dangerous material and does not damage host tissue. Factor H regulates complement activation on self cells and surfaces by possessing both cofactor activity for the Factor I mediated C3b cleavage, and decay accelerating activity against the alternative pathway C3-convertase, C3bBb. Factor H exerts its protective action on self cells and self surfaces but not on the surfaces of bacteria or viruses, because it binds to glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) that are generally present on host cells but not, normally, on pathogen surfaces.

Wild Arms (ワイルドアームズ, Wairudo Āmuzu), also known by the title Wild ARMs, is a media franchise developed by Media.Vision and owned by Sony Computer Entertainment. The franchise spawns several Western-themed role-playing video games and related media. Since the launch of the original Wild Arms title in 1996, the series has gone on to encompass several media, including toys, manga, mobile phone applications, and a 22-episode anime. Wild Arms remains noteworthy in the computer and video game industry as being one of the few role-playing series to adopt an American Old West motif. Characters, settings, and music within the series contain visual and audio cues to American westerns, as well as traditional fantasy and science fiction elements.

The series has largely been overseen by producer Akifumi Kaneko and is viewed as a cult classic among other role-playing game franchises. While reception in North America and Europe remains modest, the series still retains a small, yet active western fanbase. The Wild Arms games remain popular in Japan, with a ten-year heritage that is still celebrated.
