Date: 11th Nov 2017
Event time: 14:00 to 17:00
In November 2017 the Working Class Movement Library will mark thirty years since it moved into Jubilee House from its original home at 111 King's Road, Old Trafford. We are marking this anniversary with an event celebrating the founders of the library, Ruth and Eddie Frow, and their commitment both to working class history and to Communism. There will be speakers and discussion on topics such as the Unemployed Workers Movement of the 1930s, fighting austerity in 2017 and the Young Communist League, as well as poems and songs.
Light refreshments will be served. The event is free, but advance booking is recommended - email trustees @ wcml.org.uk.
