The upcoming Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 and GLA45 will draw their power from 2.0-litre turbocharged engine which can make 375bhp and 475Nm of max power figures.

Mercedes-Benz is preparing itself to launch updated models of AMG CLA 45 and GLA 45 in a bid to expand its AMG offering in the country. Scheduled to arrive in the country on November 7, the overall number of AMG offering from Mercedes-Benz will go up to 7 in India. The sixth and seventh models to roll out in the domestic market from the house of Mercedes-Benz will be updated CLA 45 and GLA 45 which will be launched on November 7. Once launched, these two models will be the most affordable AMG models in the country as the fact that they will be entry-level models from the Mercedes’s stable. As far as the powerhouse is concerned, both the models will be powered by a 2-litre, in-line 4, turbocharged engine which can easily produce max power of 375 bhp with peak torque of 475 Nm. The engine will be mated to an AMG Speedshift DCT 7-Speed sports transmission transmitting power to all the four wheels via AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. Both the models will sport minor cosmetic updates along with new stylish glossy black paint job featuring yellow highlights. Further enhancing the overall appeal of the car is signature AMG styling and body kit along with black grille and AMG badging on the slat along with an aggressive front bumper housing a wide central air dam and large air intakes on either side for increased air inflow. The new models will get all-new 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto connectivity, 360-degree camera and more. In the cabin, these cars will sport a new steering wheel, updated seat inserts, new cabin accents and much more. As far as the pricing is concerned, the CLA 45 is currently priced at INR 86 lakh whereas GLA 45 is tagged at INR 88.99 lakh (both prices on-road, Delhi), we anticipate that both the new models would cost a bit premium than the outgoing ones.
