BP Fallon (born 24 August 1946) is an Irish DJ, author, photographer, and musician. He currently lives in Austin, Texas.
At a young age Fallon became a personality and broadcaster in Ireland, later moving on to music journalism and photography.
In the late 1960s Fallon moved to London to pursue his journalism career. In March 1969 he scored a coup - an interview with John Lennon at the 'bed-in' in Amsterdam - which was published in the Melody Maker. This led to a further Lennon interview and a job at Apple Records working with publicist Derek Taylor. In 1970 he appeared on Top of the Pops miming the Bass guitar in John Lennon's performance of "Instant Karma!".
Fallon then became publicist for Thin Lizzy and T. Rex - for whom he coined the term "T.Rextasy". He worked and toured with Led Zeppelin during the band's heyday in the 1970s. During the punk rock years he represented Ian Dury.
Fallon returned to Irish Radio in the 80s and, in 1986, Fallon won a Jacob's Award for his RTÉ 2fm show, The BP Fallon Orchestra.
"I Believe" is the first single from female Japanese artist, Ayaka. It entered the Oricon charts at the tenth spot and slowly rose to number three, having a total of 236,012 sales. It was used as the drama Rondo's theme song.
Sing Chew, a female singer from Singapore, and Eric Martin did a cover of this song.

The Bandits were an English blues rock band from Liverpool. They are most notable for the singles "Take it and Run" and "2 Step Rock", which both reached the Top 40 on the UK Singles Chart.
The band's first appeared on the Honey Records' 2001 "Beatin Planks" compilation album, which featured early versions of two songs: "Take It An Run" and "Free Me Rain". The line up at the time consisted of John, Gary, Scott and Tony, with Neil Crosbie on drums. Scott Dulson and Tony Dunne had previously been in Tramp Attack with future Zutons frontman Dave McCabe. The band then brought in Swee on drums, and throughout 2002 auditioned for a lead guitarist and recruited Ritchie, who lived in Wallasey at the time.
The Bandits signed a record deal with Warners and released a succession of singles throughout 2002 and 2003, before releasing their only album 'And They Walked Away'.
The Bandits also ran their own club night in Liverpool, The Bandwagon, which became relatively popular and helped launched the careers of The Coral, The Zutons, The Hokum Clones, The Stands, Tramp Attack and the band themselves. The club night was known for its wild west style posters and stickers, designed by Scott. Bandwagon nights, usually held at The Zanzibar Club on Seel Street often sold out, and featured some of the days' most prominent bands, including The Libertines and others.

He was heart broken having lost his dear friend and asked could he stay at mine after he returned from the funeral. After I picked him up from the train station he asked me if he returned early enough could we record something. I started working on the music that day and then I had an idea which was to record something about Henry and their relationship. When BP returned that evening I sat him down in front of the microphone and this happened in one take! We both knew we captured a very special moment that couldn’t have been created at any other moment - magic. " - David Holmes

BP Fallon has been many things to many people for quite some time. Now he is one thing, a singer in a rock and roll band. To get to spend time probing how he sees things was a rare treat. Interviewed In Scanarama HQ, Dublin, Ireland at the end of January 2011. We hope you enjoy his wisom as much as we continue to. A quote to whet your whistle: 'The national ism is a cornucopia of bouncing uncertainties, it's a trampoline of lunatics applauded by those who are still tolerant and you'll find that they are shrinking numbers - the tolerant. I'm very against violence. This country was born of violence. The threat of violence is not a bad thing if it gets you your way. If the punters here shook their shoulders and growled a little bit more maybe the so called politicians would deliver.' ...

I was interested in the Pogues both because I liked their records and because of their involvement with Elvis Costello. Arriving at the RTE radio centre in the leafy environs of Montrose in south Dublin, at about 8PM on a sunny Thursday evening , after a day's work as a store's assistant in a department store , I seem to remember there being a bit of a gathering of teenagers at the steps up to the buildings entrance. A uniformed man had a list of winners of the 'phone in. Contrary to the assurance I had been given when I was, apparently, amongst the first 40 phone-ins my name was not on the list. I wasn'...
