Even as Honey Singh hogs the limelight for his obscene, vulgar and abusive songs it seems he could find a competition in the British Indian rapper, hip hop performer, Bollywood playback singer and actress Hard Kaur.
Hard Kaur embarassed the audience, especially Sikhs Wednesday night during her show at Hotel JW Marriot here.
The show hosted by 'Vera Moda' featured Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu and Model-actress Diana Penty. In fact it was a fashion show organised by 'Vera Moda' as they had earlier in the day opened two showrooms in the city. Bipasha Basu and Diana Penty had thrown open the stores and remained present to be part of a fashion show during the night.
The 33 years old Hard Kaur, now settled in UK but originally Taran Kaur Dhillon from Kanpur, who claims to be the first female Indian rapper, performed for about an hour from 11.00 pm onwards.
Seemingly, under the influence of some intoxicant, Hard Kaur after finishing her first song asked a Sikh present in the audience whether he understood the lyrics of her song. When he said, he liked songs like 'Singh is King', Hard Kaur abused him in the name of sister.
During her performance she is said to have abused more than a dozen times from the stage.
Hard Kaur, during her performance pointed towards a Sikh gentleman and made a scathing and highly objectionable remark about his flowing beard.
And to top it all, from stage she dared to compare the Sikh Gate-keeper at JW Marriot with the tenth Sikh Master Guru Gobind Singh ji.
